Great extension. The only thing is that each time I open a Microsoft document the system asks me to 'Enable Editing' and then when I make changes to the doc and save it's not able to save it to my Google Drive and instead I have to save it to my local drive which defeats the purpose. Is there a way to solve this issue?
This is very good service. And, Christina Reuter Mitchell !, You should always take care the effort of developer rather than giving any bad review. At least, you have to think about the effort of developer.

Good, however documents open in Compatibility Mode in Word. Additionally it uses its own template (Cambria) font which you cannot change. Also don't like how docs createdwith AOD default to American English, ignoring my language choice in Word of British English.
WARNING: AwesomeDrive is compromised by malware. With AwesomeDrive installed, Chrome will not take me into Google Drive. Whenever I clicked on my bookmark for G-Drive, I was taken to a white page that said "This app isn't verified" and warned me the app contained malware called "storage.googleapis.com (unsafe)". I resolved the issue by disabling all my apps related to G-Drive. Then my bookmark took me straight into G-Drive. THEN I enabled all G-Drive apps ONE BY ONE. When I enabled AwesomeDrive, I got the warning page again that blocked me from entering Google Drive. After I removed AwesomeDrive, I was able to enter Google Drive again. I am a long-time user of AwesomeDrive. The malware issue just recently happened. BE CAREFUL with AwesomeDrive!
All of a sudden I am having synch errors.. wondering if anyone else is experiencing that as well?

Nice, but you cannot collaborate online with your colleagues if you use MS office... If they can resolve it, it will be a nice application to pay for, but not now
All the features for the extension work EXCEPT for the MS Office document creation. You can edit existing ones in your google drive but not create new ones.
Does what it says on the tin. Repeatedly saves us from having to live with the horrendous functional limitations built into Sheets.
Liked this extension until recent update (Jan 2017) saying it requires more permissions. It can now: Read and change your data on a number of websites & Display notifications. Ummm... no.

Great Product if you have to (want to) use the desktop version of MsOffice with the Google Drive Web App.
This app is a must if you want to edit your Google drive docs with Microsoft Office! My only suggestions would be to add the option of opening the files in Microsoft Office Online! Thank you!
Works as advertised. Saves syncing office files to my desktop. Probably one of the best Chrome / GDrive extensions ever.
Works great for me. Have a chromebook Pixel and this finally enabled me to get rid of my Mac.
