Good/Bad...I love getting good gear deeply discounted. Who doesn't? I don't like being a slave to my computer screen. I will have to discipline myself. :)

Works for a while, then stops updating. It's been frozen on an expired deal for a couple days now. Previously removed and added back to chrome, which fixed the problem initially. After a few days it happens again. Not worth the hassle.

It worked great initially, but somehow it doesn't update the current deals until 20 or 15 sec before it's over.

This is a good extension. Sometimes it is a little behind on the deal, but then it catches up. Weird issues, but most of the time works great and keeps sending me the best deals!

This used to be great for my gear collection and bad for my wallet to the point where I uninstalled it. I got back around to it the other day as I am in need of a Fishpond style combo pack for fishing trips. While it seemed to work OK the first few days, all of the deals have a lag to them now. When I click on a popup for a deal on a pack it shows me a Prana dress or something completely unrelated. Thumbs down...for now

Prefer the Firefox version. I don't like that I have to click on it to see what it is. I also don't like that when a new item comes up and I have Chrome hidden, it unhides it.

This widget's pop-up feature frequently shows the wrong product that isn't being offered. Sometimes it'll pop up 3 products in rapid succession but none of them are currently being offered. The primary globe in the top of my chrome screen does work correctly however. too bad b/c I love steep and cheap...

Really like this extension. I've had other S&C notification tools, and this one seems to be consistently quicker. Would like to have the option of a small popup open constantly with the current product and price, but there's no way to set the popup timeout to keep it open and/or to change it when the next product comes up. Still, this is a big improvement. Thanks!

The Steep and Cheap extension works well enough. I wish it had a "Coming Up" feature like the iPhone app does, so I don't have to keep checking there for deals I don't want to miss out on.

New update added sound, and the option to turn it off doesn't work. Won't re-enable it until this is fixes. OMG it's annoying!

Timer no longer works correctly. It doesn't auto refresh the next deal anymore. It use to be great.

Works great. Keeps me from needing to keep a tab open to keep track of the deals/steals.

This extension is awesome. I can see what is on special and I do not need to keep checking the website. Especially awesome cause I don't have cell coverage to use the phone app.

I'm seeing the same problem Patrick mentions. It was working great and then a couple weeks ago - bam - no more pop up boxes. It won't refresh unless I physically hit the "refresh" button. I will still give it five stars, but this needs to be fixed.

I have the same issue as Derek. All of a sudden last month the countdown timer will count down from one product, and then not refresh itself. And the popup alert has stopped working as well. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but nothing seems to help. I am using the Chrome extension. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The countdown timer works for the first deal that is running when you open the browser. After the first deal, the clock stays at a red '0' and never refreshes. It has been like this for a couple months for me. They should come up with an extension that is as awesome as the browser.

So far so good. It updates when needed, shows the amount of time per deal, and goes to the site through the interface. Works pretty good for me.

Awesome way to see the deals as they come available! Very easy to use - but beware... It suddenly becomes WAY too easy to just keep buying great stuff!
