this app is a major invasion of privacy and should be illegal. it is also insanely glitchy. please remove this.

its built like the battle pass and is a violation of privacy

its terrible. doesnt even let you turn it off when youre at home. complete invasion of privacy. some people only have one device in their home, being their school computer, having to deal with no privacy is annoying. ps. use a different browser: opera gx, firefox, safari, or whatever one doesnt have this installed and dont sign in with the same account

This app is just like lanschool. spyware, and exploiting studen'ts privacy basically a clone of lanschool, so just leaving this review to help students

There is no way to turn it off it's complete garbage coming from a student I have actually managed to turn it off I think I'm not sure though. Even though it helps teachers keep an eye on you, it's a breach of privacy and should not be allowed in any school. Teachers should not be breaching our privacy and should be able to trust us. P.S. This App is retarted

this is a poorly made ripoff of lanschool. you can disable the program by just going into file explorer in windows and rename or delete the files.

Just download Opera. Or any other browser to get around this. I usually do this anyways but decided to use google chrome one day and the teacher calls me out for using youtube for music. I checked the task manager and there it was lol. Evil little app that should not be a thing.

Works Great for what it was designed for. Unfortunately anybody who's mildly curios or clever, can disable it, (hint hint) by using file explorer, searching faronics on this PC, and can either disable, rename or delete the files. If they are under administrator protection, you can right click and go to properties, then security, and edit attributes, and give yourself full control. If that easy method was disabled by administrators, then it will work pretty solidly until a student with advanced technological knowledge decides to get rid of it.

There is a way to turn this off, remove the Account Person (the tag with your name on the top right), or reinstall chrome. Then, don't sign into chrome, go to Gmail or Google Drive and sign in. Never sign into chrome, you can sign into anything else and presume as normal. Spread The News! We won't let teachers breach our privacy like this! Lots of Love A Fellow Hater Of This App

It is trash and a breach of privacy, should be illegal and does not even let us take it off if we want to! It also disables incognito and they are trying to make it invisible so that we don't notice it, but we ain't dumb, we are not happy with being stalked by "the website ban people"!!!! How is this legal?!

I don't like the idea that someone is watching everything I do. It violates my privacy and I feel like someone is constantly spying on me, no matter what I do. Also, using Insight makes it sound like the teacher has a lack of trust towards his or her students. I would rate this extension 0 stars if it was possible.

Sure it works great on both student and teacher end but the fact that i can't change from my home login to my student login without it poping up and saying "no private browsing" basically it's like what the hell... i don't want them messing with my home login only my school login.

i'm really not a fan of someone watching everything i do. also, you can bypass the extension by going into incog (which i find to be unusable), or by going into different browsers, like microsoft edge, internet explorer, or firefox. i find that microsoft edge and internet explorer actually have a substitute for incognito mode on google chrome, called "inprivate mode." you can access it on edge like with incog on chrome, or by going to tools -> safety -> inprivate mode if you're doing IE.

To all you kids i will say that this is a good sys admin tool for teachers and system support reps the TEACHERS are not spying on you they are making sure you work is done you kids lack in school that's why china has a better education. and no its not the company's falt nore is it the teachers falt its you students falt that this has to be installed on the computers. this in my op ion is one of the best plugins i have used to preform system support and remote administration

I think this is a bad app because the teachers can watch what your doing (which is creepy) and wont let students close the app and is personally annoying to people (like me) who hate having extra tabs at the bottom of the screen. Also this is overall nothing that no one needs <3 lots of love Hater of this app

I Hate This App Because When Your At School, Teachers Can Watch Whatever You Do, While This Is Invasion Of Privacy. And They Can Block Pretty Much Everything. You Cant Even Access The STEAM STORE Or A Majority Of Your Games >=(

From a LAN admin and teacher point of view, this is a great extension for monitoring students and restricting the silly websites they go on. It only works on SCHOOL computers, and SCHOOL computers should only be used for SCHOOL business. This won't even work on personal computers.

You can get around it by either adding a person to chrome as in another account (you'll have your personal extensions) or either enabling guest browser in your settings. (Then you won't have any extensions for guest)
