This extension is ideal for everyone leaving their PC on idle as the images are awesome and the centered clock is very useful. Also, removing the top visited sites is a big bonus for me.

Sleek, simple, beautiful tab. You get exactly what you see, but no more. Very few options and customizability. Date is completely invisible when paired with a light background - no options to change that! Wish this extension had been updated more recently!

Lovely, minimal and super fast

Pretty good as far as minimal new tab page extensions go, but I really wish I could find out where the photos are stored. I'd like to be able to add my own!

Minimal, perfectly designed. Thanks to this extension, I also discovered unsplash.com. If I wanted any extra features I would like an inconspicuous way to save the photos. But it's not important if it breaks the minimalism of this extension.

Beautifully minimalistic, fast, and unobtrusive. The hourly image change is a nice feature that keeps things fresh and interesting while browsing.

Although this isn't the most functional new tab page out there, it is by far the most beautiful. The minimalism (which wouldn't be possible if more features were added) is breathtakingly beautiful, and all the photos are equally as beautiful. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS that the photos have a fairly low resolution, many are only about 1000 pixels wide. The options, while obviously not extremely expansive, do allow for a surprising amount of customisation. All-in-all, this is the best of all the new tab extensions I've tried. I'll be keeping this one.

I've used a lot of new tab extensions but this one is by far my favorite.

The most amazing extension I have seen for Chrome.

It's a beautiful, minimalistic looking alternative for a new tab. Part of it's charm comes from the fact that it doesn't come with any shortcuts or links on it, so if you're relying on those for your everyday workflow and tasks, this extension may not be for you.

If you actually use the new tab features such as most visited pages, etc, then this probably won't be for you. But if you don't, and if you'd like to replace that busy screen with something beautiful, minimal, and still fast as hell, then this is a good extension.

Beautiful extension. Its the new tab extension that I didn't even realize I wanted all this time. I kept hopping between different new tab extensions with the feeling that they were all way too cluttered and then I found this.

Minimalistic, clean, simple and beautiful images - couldn't of asked for more!

Date is sometimes difficult to see on the top or bottom. Just give the date text contrast to stand out or make it less transparent.

It loads amazingly fast - for me, faster than the usual search new tab - and its simplicity is everything I was looking for. It makes me take a breath before going to whatever it is I was going to do on that new tab. Keep it up!

Just awesome.

Although I haven't used this for very long and probably haven't seen every single photo over the span of a week or so, I suspected that there were new photos today. Lo and behold, a very recent update bumping up the number of photos! After Chrome broke an extension I used to restore the older New Tab page that had links and apps, I switched over to this one. I can't express how much I love this extension and I hope it keeps being updated with new photos. It's great opening up a new tab and seeing a vibrant picture filling the window. Changes I would love to see: - Date is sometimes difficult to see on the top or bottom with several photos. Having an automatic or optional dark, subtle gradient from the top/bottom if the date is enabled just to give the date text contrast would be very helpful - For those who also replace the Incognito New Tab page (which I use regularly to avoid omnibox recent search history), having an automatic or optional text like "INCOGNITO" display (for example, below the clock) would also be helpful just to help distinguish between regular and incog windows Suggestions regarding photos: - With increasing photo counts comes increasing file size. While I'm not concerned and would welcome up to hundreds of megabytes, giving users control over the photos would open the possibilities to limit extension size and add custom photos - In addition or separately from the above suggestion, hooking up with a trusted, public photo gallery API for when users are online would create an endless selection of photos while falling back on quality photos stored locally when offline. Similar to Bing, make sure the API and photos do not have restrictive copyrights if you consider this

This new tab page is probably one of the best around. Absolutely beautiful HD pictures, and quite a few as well, blend perfectly with the minimalistic clock. Keeping forever, and highly recommended.

Could having the bookmarks bar be an option? I prefer having always-show for a better browsing experience, but I would love to have it show on my New Tab page. The extension itself on the other hand is absolutely terrific, the images just look purely amazing.

Fantastic. I wouldn't mind a little more customization though. Our own images perhaps, and the ability to drop a few favorite websites somewhere on it.

Loads fast, looks nice, and has beautiful photography in the background. What isn't to like about this?

Love this extension! I've tried so many other ones, but love the design, photos and speed the most. Also love that new photos are constantly added - nice to be surprised by new beautiful photos. Also 12h option was added - great job!

Fabulous! Very clean, smart, and beautiful. SO much better than the normal Chrome new tab page! Definitely recommend.

This tab page is amazing! Loads quickly with no lag in between, also the imagery is good and I like the fact the image changes each time you open it. Recommendable for sure.

Tabs now open smoothly with this extension, no more delay when opening a new tab. The only con about this is the lack of options, it would be nice to include a 12h/24h option for those who can't read military time. Also the use of a button/hot key to return to the default tab screen would be great.

This is exactly what I need! It removes "the last visited websites" on startup (for this new useless feature on Chrome do not helpful at all) and it gives me a total refreshing view. Thank you for the concept. Is it possible to change the color of the date and time display?

Great job!! A thing of beauty. Thank you. UPDATE: More than a month in and I'm very much praising this extension. I believe the developer has added more images since launch. On my Chromebook it literally gives me a sense of 'peace' whenever I launch my browser. Can't give high enough marks! Kudos!

I've never needed my New Tab page to do anything . . . more than likely, neither do you. Do yourself a favor a download this, I find myself staring at my new tab page before continuing my internet browsing. In short, I love this download. My only qualm (and why it isn't 5 stars) is the fact I can't change the 24-hour clock to a 12-hour clock.

Fast, uncluttered, and great photos.

Cheers for a really fast, simple start page. The photos are beautiful, thankfully. I can't see (in Task Manager) how much memory it uses, but it can't be much. Echo the feature request of a 12-hour clock as an alternative to the 24-. Also, double the hi-res photos would be sweet -- there's some amazing images out there for the using.

This is the most beautiful "New Tab" extension around. Would love to have the ability switch from 24hr time to 12hr time -- other than that this thing is perfect.

Great, really like it. Would be nice to be able to control colour and text format of both the date and time. Date is very faint and hard to read on some backgrounds. Otherwise, great work.
