We loved, This is the best Etension.

i've been using this popup blocker for as long as i can remember, over 5 years now. every time ive reinstalled OS or got a new system this is one of the first plugins i install on chrome. it works as its supposed to. great extension.

I use two PCs where this extention is installed.....Windows 10 and Windows 11, using up-to-date Chrome installed on both. So far, this extention works very well.

Awesome!! Rarely does something just work right out of the "Box". Thank you for writing this plugin!! Now sites like Etsy and Ebay won't make me crazy anymore!

Lot of false negative reviews, don't mind those. If you're looking for a no-nonsense pop up blocker, this is it.

Lots of false positives, e.g. blocks when I click a link which results in a new page, such as following a link from gmail or from a chat window. Doesn't prevent "join my newsletter" type popups. Couldn't find an option for "just do it without asking me". Maybe I'll check this out again in the future.

Thanks to this popup blocker ,It is free ,and I am happy to see that developer build these tools to better experience of surfing ,otherwise surfing become frustating ,thanks to the engineers and devleoper that the idea of adding extension come to their mind.I use many extensions.

I've been using this extension for some time now and I'd say that my only complaint is that about 3 months ago the text in the pop up that appears in the corner of your screen every time a pop up is blocked has disappeared and i cant tell if I'm allowing trusting or denying a popup

Is it removing overlays? How to enable? Why its not doing, if can, enabled by default?

Doesn't work, still getting just as many popups as before.

I've been using this for a couple days and it's so helpful! I use 9Anime a lot since I don't have things like Netflix and for every click there's always so many popups. With this though, there's none! It's great and I really like it. I'd give it 5 stars but I just started using it. Edit: It's been 2 years now, and still does amazing. :) Finally getting the 5 stars it deserves!

DOES NOT WORK since last update. I got a lot of popup windows popping out all over the place. worked great but for last few days it fails to catch popups from https://kukaj.io/ whenever attempting to play the video. (got all sorts of redirects on fake worldoftanks, aliexpress, etc.) I hope it gets resolved soon.

This is an extremely annoying extension as when it has blocked a popup you get repeated notifications every time you visit that website and it has blocked a popup that you are quite well of. There is no option to turn repeated annoying notifications, this is a much needed option as I don't need to be repeatedly notified about he exact same popup being blocked every single time.

so glad i got this, i had a different one but then they wanted us to pay them 20 bucks for a single feature when it didn't even work, this one is so much better.

Great! There is room for improvement. It would be extra helpful if we could block a website like-syndication or others permanently and wouldn't have to deny them everytime.

this useless extension has the wrong idea of what a popup is. I am still bombarded with actual popups that aren't blocked and instead I can't click on any links without it asking me to trust the website. Uninstaling it

Block the site that it should not and then ignores allow and trust commands.

Works great. Site I use a lot kept opening new tabs on its own and this extension stopped that.

Cons: - the popup is too big and takes too much space, very annoying when you want to enjoy a film - there is no way to permanently deny a domain, "deny" just closes the popup which is just a clone of the close button

Does exactly what it says amazing extention.

This is perfect, blocks every single pop up, has whitelist and everything. Don't know what the 1* people complains about, maybe use your brain before giving negative review lol.

This is better than Popper-Blocker because it barely misses a single pop-up, but it still asks me to either allow or deny the request of the pop-up. The last time I used Popper-Blocker, it missed a blocked about:blank page, so I had to report it. While reporting the pop-up/page, I pressed "I'm not a robot" (it showed a check mark after that) then it said that my session expired with a red "X" mark on it. This caused me to delete this extension. I will for sure be keeping the strict pop-up blocker to stop harmful redirects until it glitches.

love it, a fantastic balance between automatic and manual control - it automatically prevents the popup but still give you seconds to approve the popup.

One of the best extensions I have, cannot tell you how much I highly rate this. It is simple enough where it does the job it needs to do without being fancy

a recent change seems to have occurred making this extension unusable for me. when running chrome uses 14% cpu at all times doing nothing. after disable 1-4%. also seems that this extension has lost the trust of chrome enhanced protection.

Great app. does exactly as it advertises and is very strict. best blocker ive ever used. ps can you please make the red bubble bigger? there are some sites that actually try to throw at you never ending cycles of ads and ives seen the number of blocked ads shoot up to over 1000+ in less than a minute!

the one click to block pop ups was way better than this annoying one where i have to click both check boxes to block popups. ALSO IT REFRESHES THE PAGE!!!!! bring back the old version!!!!

As much as I love this extension, there appears to be a recent bug that prevents content from loading in google voice and could potentially affect even more websites that I am not aware of. It would be great if the developers could fix this issue but for the meantime if you are also struggling with this issue simply whitelist the affected website in this extensions settings page and your website should load properly. - a professional dude.

there is a bug where captcha services fails. it started happening before the bug was not there

Outstanding for my purposes! Sites like http://freestreams-live1.com/ send plenty of underneath popups, redirects, etc. otherwise it shows an awesome amount of games and tv channels for free. MOST blockers of any kind, when they do work, it blocks the functionality of the site. THIS ONE flat out lets me access the games and channels without ANY of the fuss! GREAT work Devs*

Seems like today not working so well, some of sites that usually fine was unable to blocked the pop up now! Hope it can be fix soon..

only really needed this for one site i was considering not using anymore because it recently started opening and hiding a new window to another site. this works better than i thought it would, instead of a new window opening, i get a notification from the extension. just wish i could set it so that it blocks all new tabs and windows from that site without the notification

This window not just disappearing once you try to move forward or keep browsing is annoying,it is a great ext. other than forcing you to click deny before you move forward effectively making the extension just as anoying as the pop-ups it is trying to stop. Just block the pop ups and if someone needs to go to the pop up they can pause the ext. don't force people to click deny when 99.9% of the time they are going to click deny anyway. It says you can stop this but it doesn't matter for some sites the window still pop-up making you click deny before it goes away /let's you proceed on your browsing. Please fix this,or just make an option to turn on the ittle window that pops-up which I guarantee most will not choose to turn it on just to click deny al day.

Pretty simple in that it literally blocks all popups by default unless you say otherwise, but does it without ever having any issues so its an easy 5*

I LOVE THIS THING! I like to watch movies on 123movies and this paired with my ad blocker is the only way you can even visit that site without getting raped by ads and pop ups. This is the only blocker that blocks every kind of intrusive pop up there is. Thank you to whoever made this!

does what you want it to, just remember to turn it off when using paypal and on some sites you trust cause otherwise it blocks important log in or payment windows

I like it, does the job. I wish we could have a blacklist where popup are automatically blocked, without notification. I use these extension for specific websites and it's annoying to have to click "deny" every time.

Pretty good so far, blocks all automatic popups so far, doesnt catch all "click" ones though, if that segment of the page refreshes in an iframe then it seems to not catch the new nested ones. Also the "notification blacklist" doesnt seem to work on clicked popups, only the automatic ones. Other than that it's really good.

I love this. Other pop up blockers don't work for some pop ups but this one does. i assume the reason is a button in the form of the play icon is used so it's not an automatic pop up but one you clicked on. This helped so much.

since i have gotten this i have never had a single popup pass through it. and i love how it gives you a simple little box to allow or deny it. i go to a LOT of sketchy website with a TON of ads and ever since i got this i have had 0 issues. i am going to start reccomending this to every single person i know who browses the same sites i do. it is a perfect tool.

Completely satisfied. Amazing extension! If you go on movie sites or otherwise deal with annoying pop up adds, this extension works miracles. It has totally changed my browsing experience on Chrome. Emphatically, I cannot recommend Popup Blocker enough! Add this to Chrome and you will never look back. But be aware, the little tan notification box will appear asking whether you want to deny/accept the pop up every time an add is blocked — does not bother me.

Can watch movies without multiple new windows opening everytime i click. Remember to toggle it by clicking the when you want to open a popup.

This is the so ridicules. I want to stop the popups!!! But it ask me for a request to allow the popup ... why would anybody want to be annoyed constantly annoyed to respond for a request to allow the popup??? Removed Worthless Junk!

Works as described, blocks all popups unless allowed by the user. Recommended for anyone that doesn't want malicious pop-ups

It did the job well

I don't normally write reviews, but this extension has helped me so much and made my life so much easier, that I want to leave 5 stars as a thank you. If I had to 100% honest, I'd give it 4.8 stars for I found just two things that could be done better (since 5 is the best): 1. Add option to block all pop-ups within specific tab, until the tab is closed. 2. Move the buttons on the pop-up around so that "Deny" is the first button, and make it red. And "Trust" is the last button and make it green. Because right now "Trust" seems to be in place suggesting default or recommended action. While the safest recommended action should be "Deny".

it is a great blocker only issue I have is I can't figure out how to untrust sites also the gui could be better

This is useless now ! I used to be able to choose my settings to deny popups & now that option only shows me a black screen so I can't choose anything ! This USED TO BE the best on the internet but not anymore & I am not impressed.Waste of time to try & add this now I will have to find something else Default action when a popup is requested _____ this option is blacked out & stuck on do nothing

Works great... now instead of closing popups I have to keep closing notifications from this extension.

This is the ONLY popup blocker I have found that actually works since the Microsoft internet explorer popup block on "high" setting, this is actually better. The only time I have had problems with it have been user error. 1. I accidentally clicked on it and disabled it. 2. I add a site to the exception list when I shouldn't have. I do wish it was a little more clear on the "trust" button. Thanks yokris.dev

Don't know when this behavior was introduced but why the hell does it block popup when it's not toggled? I thought this was simply toggling between allowing and not allowing popups? I never asked for an always on popup blocker. It's so annoying because certain sites like Office online for business can't open new documents because of this
