Didn't work and then tried to get me to use another extension off of a different website.

The extender is very effective. I'm hoping you'll incorporate PayPal and improve the website a little because it gives users concerns.

It did not work for the purpose i downloaded it for and deleted it from my web browser but it captured my payment details. Atomic did not send any payment receipt nor was i able to delete the credit card details. Then Atomic made an unauthorized deduction from my credit card that I have now reported to authorities as a fradulent transaction. Numerous emails were exhcanged for the transaction to be refunded but in every email Atomic did not want to return the $12. It felt like my $12 was alot of money to them that they did not want to return. Their responses were generic and copy and paste. I dont recommend this product. Better to take chance with another video downloader than Atomic.

Works in very few sites and in some sites the extension intentionally refuse to work and instead tells to buy a another product.

This one is the only one that seems to work, BUT I HAVE A PROBLEM The video I downloaded has a super annoying echo on playback, is there a way to fix that? How can I get rid of the echo?

Found the videos that no other extension could find which is awesome. Only 4 stars as you can only download so many before they ask for support. $12/yr for unlimited downloads...that is fair.

thought I'd give this one a go..at first told me it found my video which was great but then told me I need the pro version. so spent that 12 dollars and now went back to the video it says it found and now can't find it or a different couple I've tried..not worth the 12 dollars want my money back for a product that says it's going to work but then doesn't..not happy

After reading the other reviews, I have to speak up. This found videos for me that all the other video downloader extensions missed. After trying the free limit, $12 was a small price to pay for a full year. Especially since I knew it worked after trying the first free downloads. I think it is a generous number of free downloads before the annual fee is required, since it works on so many sites the other miss. I got the email with my key immediately after my purchase. Sometimes it does get stuck searching. But refreshing the site and retrying the extension has always worked. This extension is a must have for me.

Debating how many stars to give. Really could be either one or five, so I split the difference. For the 5 stars- found a video on a page that other vid-downloaders couldn't see. That was awesome! For the one star- after downloading that ONE video, it wouldn't seem to do any more, although I kept trying. Then it told me, Hey, you've reached your limit of 8 videos, come on back in 29 days. NO! I downloaded exactly ONE video, then tried apparently 7 times unsuccessfully to download another one. So, wasn't too excited there.

Doesn't even find anything, just sits there and goes "loading..." and nothing happens

Well this is a disappointment. You have to pay their fee to upgrade to their pro version

I purchased the yearly $12 package and was never sent the activation code. I emailed them about it and was given the same response that is on the premium customer page about updating my password through the forgot password link. The funny thing is that when you click on the forgot password link it asks you to enter a password. And beside that, the website says the email that they sent my receipt to does not exist. I don't know if this is fraud or not but I asked for the activation code to be sent to my email or to get a refund of my $12. If they actually do anything about it and I can use my account then I will come back and change my review to reflect those actions. If not... all I can say is don't use this extension. I have an awful feeling that they are just trying to defraud people out of money $12 at a time.

It makes you install their stupid and upgrade to pro version before it works. Not worth it.

Doesn't work, loading forever

DO NOT PAY THEM! I liked the trial so upgraded for the $12 but never received the key. I contacted then and they kept asking me the same questions which I fully answered multiple times then they just started ignoring me. I still don't have a key but am out $12!

It WAS (!) great... I purchased the premium license and had a good time using the extension. Then, I had a video, where the extension asked me to download the AVD Plus.exe. I did and installed, however, I fond NO Way to use it. AVD still tells me that there is no Video on the page (No, not YT, OF or anything of the likes). Plus is suseless to me. When I start it, I get Json error messages. Super, SUPER frustrating.

This was the only video downloader extension that worked! All the others had no audio.

I purchased the pro version and cant download from most sites so dont use this extension it sucks I even tried youtube or nudiez or OF and this is a waste of money for the year I paid for 12 bucks its a damn scam

Doesn't work

The worst extension i have ever tried. Doesn't work at all and it doesn't work on any website. You scan for videos on a page but all you get is a flashing rocket ship and no video results. Waste of time this extension

it found videos other extensions couldn't find, such as video lectures from my university! however, theres a limit of 10 videos a month, which is annoying. i think doing a monthy GB limit makes more sense.

this is a nice extension and it works where other extensions cannot. i wish to pay 12 $ although it is not a big issue but this time i am not in a position to pay otherwise i will pay at all.

Works great, a little cluttered on the download screen (It might be a good idea for the interface to switch to a dropdown list rather than listing every option out). I downloaded the plugin and it worked fast and easy on the first try. Thank you!

I was misled into purchasing the pro version because it said I needed to for the kind of video I tried downloading. To be clear, there is NO pro version—it's just a 100mb vaporware file. There is no app or UI. After you install it, it just opens a dialog that tells you to download the chrome extension. Zero benefit was acquired from the free version and the pro version. Do not waste your money or time on this.

This extension doesn't actually download anything for me. Instead it displays a link to download a "pro" version, which is a program you need to download and install into your OS. Classic bait and switch. No thanks, I'm not interested in downloading and installing your mystery binary.

I tried a stack of these attempting to download .bin files and this one actually worked!! Brilliant.

Nothing more than a advertisement. Most websites ya want to download videos from, require the Plus-version. Tried it. Poor results. Microsoft, nor Google, would download the Plus version, due to unwanted programs & viruses, and Spyware. Thats...A-lot of risk for your harddrive, to download a video. Advice: Use something else.

Tried dozens of Chrome and Firefox extensions, and this one let me download/backup my purchased course that other extensions did not work on. 5-stars experience and worth the $12/yr for unlimited but have multiple concerns to report: 1) The number of free downloads is listed differently on this extension page, their website, and the actual working of the extension. Please get it consistent. 2) YIKES! Why does this extension collect the following??? Authentication information For example: passwords, credentials, security question, or personal identification number (PIN) 3) I agree with others that I'd rather use PayPal than enter my credit card directly into a website I've never heard of before. However, the emailed receipt came from Stripe so I'm sure everything's A-OK. 4) Upon purchasing, neither the website's display of the purchase nor the emailed receipt indicate if it's a recurring charge or a one-time charge for 1 year at a time that requires manual renewal.
