This extension contains adware/crypto mining stuff. It's potentially dangerous. Avoid at all costs.

Sketchy, might be abandoned. Opened some random facebook link on install and wanted me to sign in(I don't use facebok.) The extension website leads to a spam parking page.

The extension definitely speeds up Chrome, but the only issue is the extension breaking multiple website features.

It made Google Voice faster, this was a really big deal as it was really slow, also appreciate being able to turn off and turn back on certain sites. The thing is you really have to try it and see, as you may see a huge improvement, I would want others to have this and have already told 4-5 others to use it as it is really a good Chrome Extension and addresses a real problem and that is why it exists! Perfect! Also those others have installed it and also seen the benefits! This is making many sites faster.

Is it just me or does this block so much stuff for everyone else? I have to keep on turning it off manually cuz so much content when I'm browsing is invisible - maybe it's clashing with my adblocker (i'm using uBlock Origin)

OMG that actually works. I was quite annoyed of how slow edge or chrome load webpage compared to firefox. But chromium have a better compatibility. Thus, I decided to look for some extensions that help boost this. AND YEP, this works like a breeze, even better than what I expected!! thanks a lot! Btw do not expect this extensions block every ads as it's main initiatives is to make webpage load faster.

trash app, at the first try it goes faster then the comes slower slower, im not interested to use this extension..

serious stuff - boosts loads especially within the same site EDIT: I change the rating from 5 to 3 because the extension causes Chrome to crash on many sites returning the message: "www.googleadservices.com is blocked Requests to the server have been blocked by an extension. Try disabling your extensions. ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT" If you see that message and you still want to visit the site you are going after, then your options are a) disable the extension b) uninstall it c) use another browser EDIT 2: back to 5 stars since now there's an option to turn it off at will

It worked really good for Gmail although not sure about other sites.

Lot of websites cannot find jquery. In console, i can see error that it say 404 not found: chrome-extension://ahbkhnpmoamidjgbneafjipbmdfpefad/injectees/jquery/3.3.1/jquery.min.js

for some reason, it bassically blocks everything. The reason why I installed this was so googld meet could go faster, but this hasnt proved use since its still slow af

(Please correct me if I'm wrong) This was insane, it really works and it loaded pretty fast than usual. The only problem for me is that it makes my laptop a little bit laggy and it consumes a lot of data... Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

Firstly this app works as advertised. Webpages do load significantly faster and overall I like what it does. HOWEVER it has a major downside. That is that it uses insane amounts of ram and cpu processing to do this. Just by sitting at idle my cpu is hovering anywhere between 57% through 80% load using chrome. With this app remove it idles at 0.8 using chrome. I love what this app can do. But I'm not having my pc bogged down like it is being used for crypto mining just for using this one app. Fix this massive use of process resources and I will reinstall it. Be careful... this will make some web sites not work properly, such as LinkedIn, eBay, and others.

funny thing is i've always used this extension for certain symptoms that it causes that i need,it's like buying oranges to stone with...so does it "work" ? for me yes ,for you i don't know

It actually made my Chrome slower a bit and it made several website not work properly or at all like Newegg, Newegg Business, eBay and quite a few others.

At first I thought it was helping but I did a speed test with and without the extension and it had a huge difference. This slows down your internet. Not recommended. The numbers are lies

Seems to work. My main concern was FB (because it loads at the speed of a snail) and loaded a lot faster. I'd recommend at least giving it a shot for sites that take quite a while to load.

Needs ability to remember when you allow a site to show ads. Having to constantly refresh youtube due to ad blocking until it finds a refresh with an ad on it that it will allow or cannot detect. Enabling ads/popups does not help, because every refresh turns it back on. Sometimes I have to completely disable the extension in order to view a youtube video.

Needs fix for youtube and when clicking the switch to turn off boost and reloading youtube switch turns back on and keeps blocking some videos from playing, because of certain ads. Other than that the plugin is excellent.

This doesn't really seem to make any difference for my browser other than it broke Keepa. Removed it and now Keepa works as normal.

I like supporting web sites I like by clicking ads from time to time. But these (particularly news sites) have gotten outrageous with the ads and loading pages has gotten out of control with many pages being practically unusable. I have found this extension to work wonderfully and i seem to be able to browse and load pages. Thank you!!!

I am an date input person of real estate company. I have to rely on page load speed. After installed this software, i have seen some different rate of loading of pages. Which page taken 40s to 50s now, it takes only 25s to fully loaded and workable. Thanks to Web boost.

This causes error on a lot of sites! Press F12 and you will see flood of errors on the Console tab.

Tested the extension and concluded there is totally no need for this extension. First of all, the web is so complex nowadays that you need an extension in which you can configure the things you want or don't want to see. This extension is on or off without the fine-tuning. This extension slowed down my page loads (tested it in different ways), while uBlock together with Ghostery really are speeding things up. It also corrupts webpage lay-outs, so better use a customizable tool. So, for me, no need for this extension.
