has the app changed? there are no longer site settings. also, a clear link to the blocked sites masterlist would be useful
Good but how to undo google recaptcha? my recaptcha gone and i cant do anything
I see the number count on the icon and I assume it's blocking, but I don't think it is. The website link is from the land of covid. Not helpful whatsoever. Uninstalled.
The interface is confusing at first but this was the only javascript blocker that really helped me out. The "tree" format to display all scripts was especially helpful
Great!
Fantastic
useless. if you don't allow me to click on element like cookie banner, or some such, and choose to block it from the page, then you should not come up when I search for "block page elements"
DON T HAVE access ELEMENT SOFT98.IR faceit.ir
So useful. I used it to allow copy and paste on a website. Pretty good extension in my opinion.
I don't know how to use your extension before but I push and push and play around a moment, i think your ext. very helpful for me very much. I apply at the frist time to rate your work espcially
Garbage, always worked great but since 2 days ago it doesn't do anything, doesn't block any ads anymore, no a single one...
Garbage - far too difficult to use. The user interface is horrible.
Very useful and easy to use. You can simply get rid of many annoying ads and other stuff.
Perfect. Exactly what i need. Just one suggestion, can you make the font little bit larger ? :D
Your sliders in Quickfilters are difficult to use and with no explanation until you move that slider and see what it says... This causes 4 times the work just to decide which is the appropriate position that you want. While looking pretty, it is functional clunky. Please just consider putting buttons with an explanation of the fields available above. Beyond that, I became so disgusted with your extension, I gave up with setting it up and am now looking for a different, easier to use extension.
Doesn't work very well for me, removing
Seems to be lighter and faster than the other adblocks, but I like that you can get a tree of paths and subdomains to block individually. Only issue is the "blocked.js" script it calls to hide an element leaves a big box over content that I can no longer click. No options to hide that placeholder either. UPDATE: If you hide "iframe" on each domain the blocked.js element leaves no white space.
UI is horrendous. Setting up the options is a nightmare—devs are using an unmarked slider (think volume inputs) for the various options. You have to choose a spot on the slider (again, steps aren't indicated or marked) and hover over it to see what you've selected. Until they swap out the options sliders with dropdowns, this is pretty unusable.
A much more flexible app than any Adblock app. Recently Washington Post site kept blocking me from accessing their contents due to adblock. Even after I whitelisted the site and eventually removed the app, it still did that. Only this app allows me to disable the specific java script that was causing the problem.
Best Content including Ads blocker
mantap
Element Finder doesnt work for me... no documentation
it helped me get all of those stupid adds and stoped the lag on my computer off :D
Not very good hard to use.
Just works
Quite helpful. improve ui
excellent blocks scripts that open ads in new tab and easy to use
very easy to use really help thanks a lot!
Exactly what i was looking for, can block all unwanted things !
plus point the script blocker. with this tool i can block specific script that can't be blocked by an adblocker extension
Works great, but when CSS elements are layered and you need to hide elements that are beneath upper elements it gets tricky to use. For example, it will remove an ad but leave any banner space behind an ad which, in the code, is not a parent of the ad's space. I right click the the page and click "Detect CSS selector" in the ContentBlockHelper menu, then I click the ad and use the slider to block the highest parent element before it would hide desired elements. I refresh, and it's blocked, but a space remains which was behind what I blocked, wasting space on the web page. When I attempt to repeat the process to block the leftover, I find ContentBlockHelper showing the original blocked elements, covering the elements behind still and making it impossible to "detect" them. I got it to work with the "Click to Remove Element" extension by blade.sk which removed ContentBlockHelper's obstucting layers, after which I deactivated Click to Remove Element and was able to select the wasted space to block it.
how do you use it?! It is complicated but it doesn't even have instructions explaining how to use it!
It just work!!
Just what I have been looking for!
so far the best ad and content blocker..
Constantly crashes! It is not very stable, would be better if it was, shame I had to remove this due to these reasons.
So far so good
Best blocker out there. Don't sleep on this.
Fantastic Extension
The best web blocker ever.
Just found this - excellent. Does what Adblock Plus does only better, i.e. page rendering is noticeably faster than ABP. Full control over scripts on a per site basis. In fact, full control over everything on a per site basis. Options layout is a bit strange but I'll forgive that as technically the extension seems to be superb.
No good
Thanks, Great as ABP.
Really amazing, thank you very much.
Very well written in that it allows user to choose content to display on pages and block the rest via script blocking. Includes Adblockplus scripts, custom scripts etc. However, it is written for a Japanese audience, therefore there are no easy instructions for those who speak english as a primary language. I believe the developer speaks English though, but I do wish he would write an English tutorial on how to use the blocker. I am still trying to figure out what everything in this extension does.
"Awesome!" Thank you!! I live in rural area and only have access to the very slowest dial up and couldn't be more grateful for this add on. Even if I had broadband I'd still use it. It's so easy to use and works like a charm. Lovely!
I've been trying to every single adblock extensions!!but so far I found out, this one is very light & fast,it doesn't slow down Chrome, purge memory usage of other similar adblock extensions known as memory hog,it's very useful Thanks, man.
Good extension..very fast response but Memory Leak.. uses more memory than other Adblockers for only :4 text tabs, 1 bookmark manager tab and 1 flash video tab.
