Never mind Better TTV, this makes for Better Franker Faze Z, which outshines BTTV already. To sum it up: essential for the Twitch experience.

The only issue I'm finding is as soon as I add this extension, ALL the animated Emotes I have.. ALL of them, stop animating in chat. Even the FFZ emotes themselves. Pretty bad for an add-on to remove its OWN accesses. Other people see them animate, I do not on my own screen. Rather annoying to be honest. This alone made me remove one star from the rating. Aside from that, it works as it should.

for some reason FFZ doesn't work for me anymore. I've tried uninstalling and installing again but it doesn't pop up for me in the twitch chat anymore FeelsBadMan

It works again, and as before, I do feel it is a bit better than BTTV, which seems clunkier and heavier on the memory load for me.

Sweet little extension for Frankerz. However, if the users on the other end are not using these extensions, they will not be able to see the Frankerz/BTTV emotes. Correct?

After having issues with BTTV I fully went over to using FFZ and this. No ragrets.

This extension does exactly what you'd expect it to do, and does it very well. Definitely recommend this to anybody wanting to ditch clunky BTTV.

A great add-on, made even better by its newest update. Runs like a dream, adds an enormous amount of functionality to Twitch, and includes all the best parts of other Twitch plugins. Thanks for all the hard work, Lordmau5!

the recent change has taken away my gif emotes i see them standing still but no movement. i am very disappointed

I used bttv for the emotes, but it was at the expense of ffz functionality. This is exactly what I needed to solve my first world problem.

Perfect implementation into FFZ. Extends the settings manager and the emoticon tab completion without any problems

Works just the way you would expect. I have not encountered any bugs or problems with this extension and all emotes (even custom emotes for the channel) work. BTTV is a joke: it looks bad and has less functionality, the only reason I was using it was for the emotes, but now I don't need it.

Thank you for this. I don't like how BTTV give features to exclusive people. Like the many different badges to BTTV community members and the developers friends. You'd expect with a very popular extension, your little inside community features shouldn't exist. But that isn't the case. The "Better TTV User Emotes" feature blatantly ripped off FFZ with like a 5 emote limit, pathetic. Another reason is the glowing names that you could only get back in 2011. Things like that is why I hate BTTV and literally only used it for the emotes. Thanks again.

Emotes should have a space before and after them in order for them to be recognized as an emote. It's quite annoying typing D:\User and seeing the emote pop up when it shouldn't. Edit: It's fixed now! Thanks for that, I really appreciate it. Also I accidentally clicked on the mark as spam/abuse and I don't know how to reverse it so sorry about that :/
