doesnt work, it will reverted everytime browser restarted
This is really helpful for a student with 10 docs opened, all of them saying only part of the document title. For me, since I use Google Classroom, my name would always come first, and since it's so long, all I'd see in the tab name was my name! Imaging going through 10 tabs like that! This extension was a life-saver!
This very easily changed the tab title but then I clicked rename and did a refresh - the tab title just kept cycling - flahs between the old and new name. removed it
no longer works Version 107.0.5304.122
doesn't work nice job
Good, but adding the "allow file urls access" might improve it
not at all worked
Nice and simple, but the new names do not survive tab reopening, which is a basic requirement.
Exactly what I need. Renames the tab and doesn't lose the name even when navigating elsewhere on the page. Very useful.
Near useless.
I LOVE this little plugin and use it all the time to quickly keep track of different versions of similar pages (like Dev vs Test vs Prod). Also great for presentations/demos. Perfectly simple.
It keeps saying error and never works :/
Very easy to use. Recommended! When you load the extension for the first time, it asks you to reload the page. after that it works without a glitch.
My colleagues and I always have tons of tabs open, and our primary internal system often logs us out (wisely, for security reasons) of different pages we may be working on. This extension is invaluable both in quickly seeing what I have open, and in knowing what to go back to after being logged out. It is so simple and user friendly, and does exactly what I need it to.
Doesn't work on Google tabs (like Google Ads)
LOVE this plugin. Quick & simple. I use it constantly to clarify tabs. Also helpful when presenting.
good but i couldn't make it stick when i closed the tab and reopened, as i tried to remame Vyond to GoAnimate
Works as described. I only wish that I could save a list of regular names. I have 8 duplicates of the same site that I have to rename every day. Otherwise, it is the close I can get to a perfect solution. Thank you for making this.
Did not work for me.
Didn't work -- asked me to reload a tab. My use case: I have 6 tabs open of the same site making AJAX requests. Why I hated it: When I typed in a name, it told me an error occurred, and asked me to reload one of the pages. Nope, sorry.
Works exactly as advertised, even survives page reloads when using on poe.trade.
Works as described. I only wish there was a context menu option to make it easier to use if I hide the icon.
Useful! I wish it could be persistent and remember what I renamed it as whenever I open that same URL, but other than that it's great.
Custom tab names persist even when navigating within sub-pages of a site. Exactly what I needed for testing different versions of a website.
Works!
Got this for work, so far working as advertised!
