I am having the same problem that other people have encountered: no notifications, no alert sound. I have throughly check all the Extensions Options and made sure the correct boxes are selected. I also would like to have the option hide/remove the icons for email services I do not use.

Too bad it doesn't support Outlook.com. There are dozens of extensions for checking Gmail. I need one for Outlook.com, and nobody's interested, it seems.

It just works. I've been looking for a long time for an email notifier that's simple and just works and this one is the first one that works for all my emails and it does not ask me for my password. The only thing that I wish was modifiable would be how loud the notification sound is. I would like to have it, but also have to option to set it to somewhat of a lower volume. EDIT: 13.09.2016, It no longer checks Hotmail accounts on a regular basis. Sometimes I have emails on my Hotmail account that I have not been notified about for days. EDIT: 31.01.2019, Everything works fine. Back to 5 stars :)

With all appropriate boxes checked, doesn't work at all with Chrome version 67.0.3396.79 (Official Build) (64-bit); no notifications, no alert sound.

I really like the weightlessness of this app, it feels a little bit rough and this isn't a negative, it shows that the developer really loves what they do.

Would love to be able to add/remove mail services. (Like I only use Gmail and Yahoo, would like to remove the buttons for the others)

the badge is on the mail icon, when i click on the icon in the toolbar it should open tabs for the email provider i have mail for, and once it opens them there should be an option to reset the badge counter to zero otherwise it keeps showing the same number until it checks again..simple programming logic here...otherwise its ok

Looking good so far. I'm struggling with 'Live' Mail and Outlook clashing, though. #RabbitHole - aargh!

This is a suggestion. I would like to hide the email providers that I do not use or a do no want to use, four of them in my case. I hope you could add this suggestion to the wishlist. Or is there any reason why you do it like that? Thanks in advance

could have been good, but no option to only check my hotmail, I don't want my gmail checked.

Shows emails waiting all the time even when there are none, Kinda defeats the purpose.

Fantastic integration (displayed the email that a chrome app was allowed access the same second it was installed!), but choosing an email to check only opens the tab, but won't switch to it. I also seem to have the problem of always having 1 email unread, even though that account has no new emails. Other than that, instantly integrated Gmail and Live/Outlook mail with no interaction required.

Not bad. At least it doesn't change my browser settings like some others! It doesn't seem to work properly with Yahoo - didn't notify me of a new mail until I restarted browser. Got the overall notification, but still showed zero for each mail service even if there was new mail waiting in Yahoo. After clearing the new message, the count of new mail on the notification button never went back to zero. Works fine with Gmail and Hotmail. Another notifier I use recently stopped working for Yahoo as well - perhaps there was a change on Yahoo's end... QoL requests: *Let user choose which of the 'big six' mail services to display. I only use three, and it would be less clutter if I only see the ones I use. *Let user change the notification sound. When it notified me the first time, I thought my PC was shutting down! Uses the same tone as shut down and caught me off guard...

There should have a choice of EMail Service to keep.
