It doesn't do anything. I confirmed the extension has access to the zoom tab that was open, but it never closes it. Worthless. Must be out of date.

As Ashafh commented, only if I refresh an *already opened* Zoom Launch Meeting tab will it close after 6 seconds. But for initial launch, nothing happens, which makes this useless. There was another extension that used to work but it's not longer available due to violating some policy.
It doesn't work
I installed it today and it worked--thank goodness. I will say that it had stopped working for me awhile back too so I installed and used a different zoom closer for awhile. Probably a good thing that it required me install the extension before leaving a review otherwise I wouldn't know that it was working...again...for now. I want to mention that if this suddenly fails again, try the "Clozoom" extension. It closes in 3 seconds with a countdown, making it close faster than Zoom Closer, if that matters to you. What matters to me is reliability so I'm going to give Zoom Closer another go and see how it performs. I kept Clozoom but turned it off for now :)
doesn't work
Simply doesn't work -- zoom tabs just stay open forever. I wish we could enforce truth-in-advertising laws on the Chrome store.

While this works for what it does the lack of developer support to update it (I supplied them the code change needed so all they had to do was merge and release a new version) to include support for Zoom Gov meetings left a sour taste in my mouth. Just installed it and it seems to work as advertised. Appears to close the tab after about 6 or so seconds.

i love I really want it to work but its not. I looked at your source code and it does seem right but however it doesnt close. Only if i Refresh an *already opened* zoom.us link, will it close after 6 seconds. But for initial launch, nothing happens
I really like this extension but for some reason it stopped working as intended. Looks like a chrome update might have affected it. Would be nice to get some updates to get it working again.

Stopped working recently. Under the hood, I like how this one works, but it appears that Chrome recently changed something in how it handles extensions, so it stopped working. However, another one called "ZOOM Tab killer" is implemented a different way and still works.
Used to work perfectly until a couple days ago. Zoom should just integrate this anyway. Opening up a window that doesn't automatically close makes no sense.

Worked great until just a couple weeks ago, could be because of a Chrome update. Hope it gets an update, this thing saves my sanity by automatically closing all those annoying Zoom browser windows that open for every call -- this is very important for somebody like me that is on 5-10 Zoom calls a day.

Does exactly what it states by closing the blank Zoom tab that opens. Works so well you even forget it's there!
Worked for one day, then stopped. I test it every morning to see if it is working again, but no luck.
Would love for this to work, but it is not. Looks like other reviews are having problems lately also. Will leave installed in hopes of it getting fixed.
It worked really well for a while. I don't know if Zoom changed their URL, but it is no longer working.
