Great extension, it is fantastic. It would be more intuitive if the custom multiple remainders could be sorted by date and time in ascending or descending order.
Useful for those not having fixed working schedule. Would love to have it as my phone app if possible :D
It doesn't work when browser is closed.
Its the best option on the store but its unreliable. Ive noticed that it will randomly not work. I set it for every 30 minutes and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. It just didnt which is what prompted me to write this review. A few times now Ill just be looking at the windows clock waiting for it to go from XX:29 to XX: 30 for example. And theres no pop up nor sound. Sometimes it WILL work but i need it to work 100% of the time.
it works perfectly fine as others said but it won't work when there's a background music.
This is one of my all-time favorite Chrome extensions. As someone with ADHD who suffers from time blindness, this talking clock keeps me from losing huge chunks of my day to a single task. Time feels a liiiiitle less like me enemy when it's running. MY ONLY REQUEST: timer options for the mute function (mute for 30 minutes; mute for 1 hour; etc) where the talking clock automatically unmutes after a certain amount of time. I take a lot of video calls for work using a program outside of Chrome, and I have to mute the extension. But because of my aforementioned ADHD, I often forget to turn it back on and lose days of glorious time keeping from the Talking Clock.

One of the best extension I have ever used.
This app is fantastic. I was a long time Firefox user, and I looked for things like this to no avail. I have ADHD, and with it comes time blindness (for me, anyway). I hyperfocus and lose track of time - to the point where hours pass and I don't realise. This is perfect, thank you!

I love the concept but the seconds doesn't match to the current time in second. Its almost 30 seconds late. Please fix it!
I like it.. It's not as fussy as my Google mini reminders. I've just noticed that the "every week" option let's you choose weekdays.
It does not work all the time, should the chrome be an active tab for the extension to work. or it does not come when we watch other videos in chrome
Have been looking for such a tool for so long, not sure why couldn't I find it before in webstore.. Thanks for such a wonderful tool..it meets all the requirements for a clock I was looking for. If an option to sync configuration was added that would have been great. But that's not a pressing one!
Excellennt. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars at first was because it was sometimes about 45 seconds late. but in reply to Jackies response, (Thank you Jackie) I think the timing was hindered by another extension that gives a series of "pips" on the hour. At other times the talking clock is more accurate. In any case, this is a great app. TIP; If you have an appointment coming up in about a half hour, switch to notifications every 5 minutes. It helps you to focus and motivates you to concentrate on being ready. That is especially effective if you have to leave the building. You could even set a custom message saying "You have X minutes to get out of here"
amazingly preety handy tool, using it to remind myself to take a break from computing :)
I loved the extension! But i have a suggestion, Would you add a feature which allows you to record your own voice, and it can play at the time we set them to play or randomly play?
This has got to be the best Talking Clock type of extension out there. It has all the necessary options and fulfills all the needs. Anyone who is rating this lower than 5* either doesn't know how to operate this extension or downloaded the wrong extension and was expecting something else. There is one request to the developers, can you enable this extension outside of Chrome please? Or perhaps you could release a .exe which I think this will be well worth it? Thank you
Great .I use it for trading market .alerting me every 15 min close of a candle. I d love if there is an option to avoid alert on saturday and sunday.

Simple yet great program!
Doesn't GET any better than This, LOL Don't understand the problems others are having. This extension reads aloud the time to you at ANY intervals you want. you can set it for just desktop alerts, audio or... BOTH. Also lets you make custom alerts with daily, weekly, weekdays, monthly,etc.,CUSTOM REMINDERS. Functionality never fails. I've used this for many months now and even switching browser from time to time I always include this baby.
Wont save settings... getting really annoyed at the popup., used to work fine... chromes up to date aswell... need to fix it asap
CUSTEM A real small popup With no good look to it And no clock and no time Repeat Delay like 3m if in not in the room it goes off be nice if the pop-up Display was big With a OK to close it
