I'll jump in on the dogpile to say that the Dec 8 update completely borked everything. I can't use their desktop app because the recipients of my calls hear massive interference on their end that my IT people couldn't seem to fix. Good news was that the web extension didn't have this issue - until Dec 8 when 3CX inexplicably destroyed the only good thing about their product. Now I'm trying to work from home making calls with my business number while the other end is wondering why it sounds like I'm calling from a wind tunnel.

I don't know why 3cx killed the old chrome browser extension which was working excellent till it was killed a week ago and we never asked you to give us a new browser extension. What was wrong with the old chrome browser extension that 3CX decided to end its life. Can you scrap the new browser extension for good and restore the old one. You can already see the amount of people struggling with the worthless and non working new browser extension. Is that not a wake up call for 3CX ?

Nice when it works, but recently it's broken. The popup for incoming calls no longer appears, which is an issue, especially if you're working on a remote desktop environment and answering calls locally.

The new Update is a disaster. The most valuable function of the extension is now gone without a alternative solution (for macOS).

the new update - limits the use to click2dial - while the previous version enabled you to dial from the computer. It feels like a downgrade. Also I am missing to use the extension button to open the 3cx console to initiate a call. Please, bring back the opening of the 3CX phone applet (mini window) to allow manual dialing from the computer - or at least to open the 3CX webclient (at least)

Without notice you have removed full support for Mac OS, this is totally unacceptable. Please urgently release another extension like the old one with a client with hot keys, or urgently release a Mac OS app like the windows one you have created. Many companies will be forced to move from 3CX if you do not URGENTLY fix this.

Web Client no longer working after update Since the latest update, The extension has completely stopped working. This is pretty poor from 3CX and all done without any warning that I can see. I guess the Quality Testing team are on holiday already. Do better, 3CX. Do Better!

Used to be great. Since Dec 8 update - worthless. Instead of creating a new extension, they crippled this one. Now it is ONLY click to call. no longer does this ext create separate window to make/receive calls. This is absolutely worthless. Please fix!!!!

the 3cx extension was excellent being a Linux user... however, today (8th Dec) it seems to be merged with Click2Call (there was 2 extensions) and the browser extension that loaded as a small browser window akin to the Windows client app is gone... please either change this back or fix the issue

This extension used to have a small pop out window that could be used like the Windows client to make calls. It also popped up no matter what tab you were on. Today, thats gone. Why was this changed? Why fix something that wasnt broken?

Using it on chromebook Version 96.0.4664.77 (Official Build) and the new extension update has stopped it from working - the webclient does not recognise the extension. unistall and reinstall the webclient does not ask for activate extension - ??

I've been using 3CX for two years now and it worked great until today. My system had not been updates or rebooted recently. When I logged in as I normally do each morning, the web client would not show up. I uninstalled from Chrome then reinstalled the extension. This did not fix the issue. Now I have to click the dialer in the software to answer a call. Very frustrating. Is this a new bug or glitch?

Great now I have to use the useless Webclient on MacOS instead of the handy popout window that worked fine with V18 yesterday, before this extension was updated. Managed to download the the old extension and install but no way to activate it on V18. Extremely frustrating to say the least!! 3CX doesn't seem to care about its users with pulling these stunts.

The December 8 update is horrible. Does not function as it did before. Click2Call does not offer the pop up window to show the dialer and call manager. Click2Call makes any series of numbers click like a phone number. Not good when working with bar codes and addresses regularly. 3cx needs to update or roll this back to the working version.

Wow, really going backwards from the native mac client. I have had so many issues with this extension, which I was forced to switch to after upgrading to V18: it sometimes does not ring at all (even when it's in focus), to ringing continuously even after picking up, to echos and other audio problems reported by the other party. The native client had none of these issues, and nothing else switched beyond the client. I had to uninstall this extension and just rely on the Android app, which is disappointing since I have a professional headset and microphone on the computer specifically for phone calls and meetings. I rarely write extension reviews but this has really made me rethink 3CX as our telephony solution.

Used for 15 users in company. Issues regularly occur while on VPN connections due to a known issue with 3CX. Massive issues for users especially those based on Mac OS as no native app is available.

having same issue as the guys on top. My audio not working ...has been working all the time. when making an outbound call i can hear the other pesrson clearly but they cant hear a thing on there side. and it seems that this Constantinos Constantinou guy dont know how to give a solid answer to how exactly we would be able to fix it...sad very sad...

It works pretty well, as long as you already have your PBX set up correctly. Nice that it has a dark theme. Some things that could be improved: Resizing the pop-out doesn't resize the contents, so you can't see more people. Having the default setting to highlight numbers on web sites as dial-out numbers is super annoying and everyone in our company shuts it off. It causes Chrome to run in the background, which causes all kinds of other problems so we also have to turn that off. It occasionally requires users to right-click on the blue phone icon and choose "Reload Extension" in order to get it to work. Allow the status to auto-change if you're on the phone or web meeting, so it doesn't interrupt your current call with ringing that everyone else can hear.

I have to use this for work and it works well enough, but it has problems. The most infuriating one is that it automatically adjusts your microphone level and there's no way to disable that. So it pumps my mic gain up to 100 and callers get to enjoy the background noises of my entire office rather than just me. The extension also crashes occasionally. Doesn't bring Chrome down with it, thankfully. One other nitpick I have is I can't use my keypad after a call has begun. It works to dial a number as you'd expect, but once you're in a call and need to navigate an auto-attendant system, you need the mouse to select numbers on the virtual keypad.

This extension breaks Javascript on websites by trapping click events. Have seen this specifically with click events within forms and not related to phone/tel: links in any way. You may have issues with websites after installing this extension. I can't find anywhere at 3CX to report this bug to, but can see from their forum that similar issues appear to be posted there and not responded to.

It doesnt allow me to hear or send my voice to the other party. it rings fine but no exchange of voice. I changed two different audio speakers and cameras. did everything possible to fix it as per 3cx windows app guidelines . I stll cant work from home using my office desk phone just bcasue i wanted to use this.

Hello we have been using this extension for some months now it was fine, but since last week I have noticed that we are having difficulties with the audio. I am unable to find a solution for it. I see in the settings of the extension that the audio/video settings are manage by the extension. Please provide a fix for me.

Hi 3CX The system does not work on the Chrome extension. Cannot make any outbound calls, we have a both windows and mac and cannot get it to work. Can you please advise what we can do to make it work? Update: The android phone app and the windows app on PC, work perfectly fine. When dialing out, specifically on the Chrome extension on Mac and PC,it rings once and then it is stone silent. I have called my home phone from the 3CX Chrome extension, again it rings once from 3CX then silent. But the my home phone (the recipient) keeps ringing which tells me the call is connected. My question is why is it only ringing once on the 3CX Chrome extension and then going silent? Presumably this is not to do with the PBX Set up?

The interface is great, and the features seem stable. The sound quality however is an issue, at least compared to other clients, and I can't seem to find any settings relative to this specific client. Same sound quality as other apps (e.g. desktop client) will == 5 stars :)
