I love it, but for some reason the design doesn't look like whats announced here, with pointy edges and a more outaded look for some reason. Tried on different profiles with no other extensions allowed and also on other systems (mac and windows), so I guess it's not an issuo on my end.

It's good, but would be much better if I could disable the forced "What's new" page popup. It happens too often and personally for me, not important. Give a setting/toggle to remove it.

Very neat and clean extension. It is now my app as well as bookmarks manager. One minor issue is sometimes it takes a few extra seconds to load a link. Then at other times, it just takes the normal time as expected. One clarification I'd love to hear from anybody. Why this dev is having two extensions with samilar features (the other being the G App Launcher (Customizer for Google). Even the version number and sizes are same. This extension is not ''featured'' but the other one mentioned above is. Is there any difference in these two? Cheers

Search should be improved. If I enter 'd' I want drive to come up first, not calendar...

An extension that I actually find useful, convenient and easy to use. The only minor problem I'm having is that I can't seem to add custom icons to my custom shortcuts. I've tried everything I can think of (I'm sure it's my fault). I've tried loading them as ico's & PNG's. I've tried loading them from URL's (from Google photos) and links from G Drive. But, so far, no success.

The extension called "Shortcuts for Google", but does it have a shortcut? No.

What a winner! Just click the icon on the toolbar included after installing....and SHORTCUTS open up like magic!

Works great! It should be built into Chrome! I just wish there was an option to disable the changelog button. I like reading what's new, but I see it would be annoying for someone else.

Great addition to MX-browser. It provides me with all the Google shortcuts I frequently use. The various possibilities to adjust it exactly how I want to see and use it make this extension stand out from the rest. Bedankt:)

Was working great until a while ago. A few days ago I noticed that the icons were all messed up, and since this morning, it's been giving me a lot of problems. I'm unable to see my shortcuts because it doesn't open even if I click on the extension multiple times. I also can't seem to edit the shortcuts through Chrome itself, and a while ago I got a notification that the extension crashed. I would give the extension a second shot and reinstall it, but I'll lose my shortcuts if I do that, and since I can't even open it up to save the links so I can add them back later, the problem is evident. I know it's not a problem on my side because the rest of my extensions are working fine, and on top of that, according to Chrome, the extension is compatible with my device. Please fix this issue as soon as possible. (Right as I was about to publish this review, I got the notification for Shortcuts crashing AGAIN.)

I like the extension but the problem is the custom shortcuts don't appear in the Google Apps Section on the New tab page.

January 15, 2021 1/5 because “ads”, else 4.5/5 Browser: Microsoft Edge Extension: Shortcuts for Google Hello, I installed this "Chromium" extension on Microsoft Edge. It works well. However, every time I open Edge, a "Shortcuts for Google Information Page" automatically opens each time. Clearly if this "bug" is not fixed within a month, I will uninstall this extension.

Very good addon, i would also like if there was a shortcut on the menu that says "add new shortcut" instead of opning a new window, when i want to add a new shortcut

Works great, but a very big flaw and huge annoyance is that popup you get, every time there is an update to this extension. Five stars for functionality. -4 for pointless annoying popups. EDIT: The developer removed the annoying popups!! 10/5 stars from me now! Can't recommend it enough! Thank you!

Excellent app. The only thing I would change is a material icon so that it will blend in with the other grayscale icons.

Excellent with minor new bug - this is a VERY useful extension, although at some recent point it introduced a bug: When I add a custom shortcut, the act of dragging the new shortcut to a new position in the list results in the creation of several duplicates. Deleting the duplicates typically deletes the new shortcut as well. I hope the developer can address this soon, as this extension is otherwise one of the most valuable add-ons available in Chrome.

I really liked this extension. I wish this was built into Chrome. Unfortunately, I got a bit too annoyed with it poaching my session and forcing me to view an auto-opened tab every time it updated. It's not that big of a deal, but I don't need the functionality so much these days.

Was a good extension....RANDOM POP-UPS with PAID ADVERTISERS "Shortcuts for Google" is causing random pop-up Chrome Tabs with Ads after a few months go by of adding their plug-in/extension. Opens a new tab with ads every couple hours and tracks every website you visit.

If you're G Suite user (Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar, Keep - etc) - This is the best Google app shortcuts extension available on Chrome. Period. Works like a charm and as advertised. Super useful, convenient and saves a lot of time. Been using it for 2 years now. And surprised how Google hasn't acquired the developer/extension yet or haven't implemented a similar design into the native Chrome browser for desktops. P.s: If you use one or none of the G Suite Apps mentioned above - you should most definitely start right away. No more heavy files, multiple downloads, WeTransfers and complicated UIs of the MS Old. Google truly brings a breath of fresh air to productivity apps that are constantly improving, super user friendly and encourages collaboration. All this is on the Cloud - so there is literally no device based restrictions.

There is an off-by-one error, the last shortcut doesn't show up. A different issue that is likely related is that if you choose "Remove all shortcuts", then you can't add any shortcuts manually.

Excellent addition to my browser tools. Has all the possible links to the many, many Google products and services, which regular additions. You can arrange the shortcuts however you choose. The developer is responsive to feedback.

Why is this not standard on Chrome? This is a must have perfect extension for Google ecosystem!

This is 1 of the most useful extension for me.Founding this type of extension from ever and I am very glad that i found it lastly. It has an option of adding custom shortcuts along with pre-added Google's sites. Thank you so much Mr. Developer for saving a lot of time.

Opening a new tab and switching the active one every time the extension updates is ridiculous.

Great extension! So glad I found it. I used to have Chrome open with multiple tabs. Now, I only pre-load a few tabs and use this to get to the others only when I need them. I especially like that it retrieves the thumbnail for my custom shortcuts as well. Much faster than booksmarks! Really like the new search box, too.

Exactly what I was looking for and it syncs across multiple devices also :-) Its error handling could be improved, it allows you to set values it either ignores or resets and it allows you to add shortcuts it then drops because it seems to have a limit on how many you can have (not how many can be displayed which is another annoying limit).

It's not possible to view the URL of the shortcut, which really sucks.

Perfect app. I had another one but you couldn't add custom apps now I can !! Please though allow us to specify dimensions of the grid !! I don't like how it chooses how many are in each row.

Great, and practical extension.

Used to work great, but since 2 months, I can no longer access or create bookmarks. Simple stuff. All of a sudden, after years of building a categorized library, SFG no longer resolves the page holding the library. Nor does it let me create a new bookmark any longer. An initial support request went unanswered. I've a 2nd one out there now. I really relied on this utility for years, now it seems crippled for some reason. Latest Chrome browser, running on a Mac Mini running Yosemite 10.10.5

Very similar to the built-in Google Apps launcher that's only visible at the top right-hand corner of many Google Apps. The built-in has always been my favorite way to launch Google Apps. Now, this extension essentially makes that Google Apps Launcher continuously available. Thank you so much for keeping it simple so that it works as fast as the built-in.

Awesome extension by an awesome developer. I use it multiple time every day. One time the URL shortner stopped working so I sent the developer an email. Less than an hour later he emailed back that it was fixed in the latest version 13.9.4 and how to force an upgrade to that version. I did. It worked. Fixed! Again, very useful extension.

Carlos Jeurissen has created some of the best and most useful extensions for Chrome. I love the quick shortcut without the delay of loading a tab first. Black Menu has site access without the menu if you want more functionality. Ink for Google makes material design changes that Google should have made years ago when Material design was first introduced. Keep up the amazing work!!

Type A personality here. This 'Shortcut' organizer is not as convenient for multitaskers as the Chrome extension 'Black Menu'. Black menu is like a little corner window that doesn't interfere with the page on your browser. This one, 'Shorcuts' loads new tabs/ windows depending on your browser's properties. This extension is good, but 'Black Menu' is killer convenient for multitasking if you use google interfaces frequently (youtube, google docs, campus email, etc.) Try a few Chrome organizers, there's plenty but *cough* Black Menu *phlem* some are more streamline.

Very good extension, the only annoying thing is the unread count that sometimes shows although I've disabled it. (I noticed it after the extension update)

Very nice extension. I've had no problems and love the idea that I now have a Google toolbar in Chrome

The benefits are not that great. It seems convenient except it runs very slowly. On the negative side every single time the tiniest update for the app installs it will always open a new tab, not imminently but always right when your in the middle of something important. Throwing it in your face with a large list of trivial updates. There is no setting to turn this off. No support staff will ever acknowledge your existence. It will not recognize that you have seen and been annoyed by this on one computer on the same chrome account. It will show it to you on every single computer you own often at least once a week.

LOVE this extension but it doesn't work correctly for me; it shows "2" unread google plus but I don't have anything that is unread in my google plus! CRAY-CRAY.

This is the best and most useful extension for my Chromebook. Since the Chromebook does not have the "desktop" that I've grown used to on PCs this extension is very (I mean "very" Mr. Whoever.) useful, even necessary. Thanks for producing this extension and offering it for free and for the "options" and web support.

I rarely rate apps, but I must say this app makes my life easier - I use it to keep track of URLs I need to get to each quarter at school, and it has been working great! Use primarily for linking to arbitrary URLs. Thanks for creating! =)

useless wrong shortcut manager i was looking for another one but for some reason its not on here no matter how much i search, had to follow a link i found in the corners of youtube guides to find the right one, this one is crap..

I've loved it since I started using it a year ago. It's far more-inclusive than Google's own app! With the new update (9/2015), it was over theh top that they added a shortcut to Google Contacts. This saves a couple of steps and definitely saves me time, as I ad or update someone in my GMail contact list. There are DOZENS of shortcuts from which you may choose, already built-in. You can even add your own! THANK YOU!

Very fast, clean, and customizable!

Hate it. Does the same as the Google Apps Icon on the left. But uses a lot of memory and CPU resources. Not worth it. Slow to boot and run.

As someone who's constantly bouncing between and to different Google Services, this is a huge timesaver! The aesthetics of it are great, and it has all the functionality I could ask for.
