⚠️ "Allow this extension to read and change all your data on websites you visit" Are you kidding me? why would a simple extension asks for such a permission? VERY SUSPICIOUS ⚠️

Great useful app, says what it claims, nothing more, nothing less.

I did a code review. As simple as it should be. Only odd thing is a harmless easter egg if in the option screen you type taiwan and hit enter into the password box it will redirect you to wikipedia.

Simple, easy, just works and is so helpful!

I think this is a decent extension working fairly well with some websites not working but I am just a bit sceptical, and due to me no exactly understanding code I cannot clarify if this works or not so if someone could reply or confirm this it would be good.

Stop reading this review and get this extension! (you can thank me, but more importantly, the engineer behind this...later) This is one of those hidden, non-flashy apps that will quietly grow to one of the most highly-used, indispensable and time-saving extensions in your productivity arsenal! One of many examples: If you do what 'they' recommend and change your passwords semi-often, lets say only once a year, and you use LastPass or some other password manager - then, when you go to a site and the pw manager puts in a pw for the site, you have no idea what it entered [is it the new pw, or did it put in the old pw?? Hmm.] Save yourself the 3 minutes it takes to look at the Notes in the pw manager, and simply click in the pw field and press your customized shortcut key to display it. Done!! Seriously, it's so helpful. Oh, almost forgot, to the Developer/Engineer of this app, Thank You very much. I love this app, and use it almost daily. Great Job, your work is so appreciated!! -Shane

I've already wanted this and finally found it!

Looks good, but did not work for me. When I activated it. It just showed ###... for all the ***.. in the password field, which is ofcourse not the actual password. The site that has this password field is probably better protected.

Works 100% Discovered that I typed in 1 wrong letter and thus that's why I could not long on. Thank you very much.

Most of my passwords and acounts are getting suspecious login attempts recently. I didn't check the code of this extension but I am afraid that this might actually be the cause somehow. Better be careful with it!

Very good extension. Works as described. Hence 5* Float your mouse over a ********** password field and the password is shown. Great for entering passwords or just seeing what was already stored. Note to Google Inc... Google Chrome should adopt this feature as an option in settings under "remember passwords" section.

How many times have you typed and retyped passwords to be sure you got them correct? With this, you can view what you typed. It's a lifesaver! Works in Chrome and Vivaldi.

Waste of time. Hovered over password box and nothing happens. When I inspect element, it's a type='password' value='********' so how can it possibly work?

Wish it automatically showed passwords. Some websites still hide characters as you are typing, but you can click and check - before u enter it

Even if I used this app, it just converts the password to *******. Still no use.

Does what it is supposed to. Now to find out if it does more than it is supposed to. (I presume it is merely inspecting element and setting the textbox to 'text' from 'password' type?

This is a great extension, does what it's supposed to well and nothing else. Showing passwords is the one thing that IE has and I wish chrome had.

Wouldn't reveal my password except on google login. I have found many better ones.

Very useful for me when I have really long passwords. It also helps with my dyslexia when I can actually see the password instead of just dots.
