Does its job really well and I love that now I can share my organized tab groups with any computer I am on!

I love it. The import / export is very powerful to especially transport session between devices. 2 suggestions: 1. Import use the file name as the session name 2. The option menu becomes flashing / fuzzy on some settings. I fixed one b/c it was set to zoom at 90%. On the other, it's set at 100%. Could it be with the text size that's causing the fuzz look? I think an option page in a tab will work fine.

Seems best tab manager for my purposes, even though it is a session manager. Saves and restores Tab Groups. Seems flexible and safe.

I've been looking for a bookmark manager like this for a long time! Ability to save individual tabs as well as entire groups + synchronization on multiple devices = Great job! I would recommend this tool to everyone!

I'd love if it would be possible to have it standalone or always open or open it with a shortcut key

issue with account sync lost all my tab

Extension Worked very well and Awesome. but issue I am facing with this. using Sync feature. Getting unwatched videos in youtube history with this. Yesterday I removed this extension in 24hours no unwanted videos in youtube history.

This is one of the best extensions I've used to date. Awesome if you are a developer, you can load your websites and documentation right away. This app has attention to detail such as giving you time to revert a saved tabox if you accidentally saved the wrong tabs. Kudos to the dev!

Gil, I what a great extension ! I use it constantly and also told my friends at work to use it so instead of passing them a bunch of links relating to assignment, I just export to them the collection. One thing though, sometimes when I try to open existing collections it gets stuck and nothing is open, so I have to reopen each link in the collection, recreate the groups and then save the collection again (and then it opens again). Raising to your attention if you can check. Again, awesome !

Okay, the dev actually responds to reviews, so time for a big add feedback one. Short version: This is without a doubt the best tab set save and restore extension that exists. Very powerful tab manager, works very well for me as a power-user Create tab collections and pull them up easily, has good dupe tabs options Interface is a bit confusing and managing/moving tabs a bit clunky When multiple collections open, I can't tell which one I'm in, sometimes >1 named collection highlighted Overall very good, highly recommend

I really like this extension a lot, but I have dropped 2 stars because for the last couple of weeks it does no longer save my tabs in groups. When I restore the session all the tabs are in the correct order but no longer grouped. If this is fixed I will be happy to revisit my this and give it 5 stars. Edit: Although there were no update requests for computer or browser, a restart of both has solved the issue. Groups are now saved again. We're back to 5 stars!

The best out there.. It can store the tabs with grouped tabs support and sync your sessions with your google account.. I love it

ANNOYED RN it doesnt save the grouped tabs anymore its terribkw now i name and group them all for GOOD reason! Also make them suspended on load or something as another user mentions saves cpu hogging etc! Especially if i start doing multiple windows but this BUG? Is a major dissapontment otherwise 4..

Decent enough extension to save your tab groups (although a recent update broke half of my saved groups), but please take a page of advice from the Session Buddy people. The interface to interact with groups is WAY too small to manage medium to large groups. Please allow the group page to be opened in a separate browser window (full page) to make it much more managable.

Works great on Windows, breaks every time on Mac since it doesn't open anything organized within groups.

I have a bunch of tabs opened at all times. I can do this because most of them are Suspended/Discarded/Unloaded. Closing their window and using History > Recently closed can restore all of them without problems. Tabox, instead, restores a collection by making all tabs being loaded into ram at the same time, freezing chrome and the entire system and making it all unusable.

This is EXACTLY what I needed. I wish I knew this existed sooner, but this really makes syncing your tabs and groups in Chrome so much easier across multiple devices. Thank you so much!

I tried 'em all. This one has the best functionality, best UI and is easiest to use. Memory footprint is a little higher than the others but they don't do half of what Tabox does. Essential Chrome plugin.

I had a couple of suggestions for improvements, and Gil with Tabox responded warmly and immediately. Looking forward to future improvements but VERY HAPPY with what I have right now.

This is at least the third tab extension I've tried over many years, and it looks like I'm here to stay! Free, open-source, and amazing! Has all the important features, including sync, and no useless clutter. Quick response to my inquiry. Keep up the great work! It's projects like these that make me wish I knew enough JS to help out...

Finally a really great useable Tab Manager that if developed further might even finally tame the madness of creating managing and organizing books in general. The one essential (search) feature missing currently is apparently already in development - these guys get it.

Was after a session manager that saved my chrome tab groups including colour etc. Does the job well!

An awesome extension for anyone, but especially for someone who needs to organize tabs, and quickly come back to a certain set. I use it at work to organize my active project windows (I'm a Developer), and on my personal computer to categorize active stuff by usage (shopping, articles, etc.). Just dive back in where you left off. The huge plus side is that Chrome dies a little less, when I can open/close tab sets, which I otherwise would have kept open. =) Thank you for this extension!

A great extension and saves me a ton of time. As a developer, I jump between browser windows all day and this saves them just as I need them. I'd love a small feature added: If possible, please add the ability to save the name of the window (When you right click on the window and click "Name window") along with the other settings and for the window to be named when opened. This would make it a lot easier to find the right window. Thank you for giving us this excellent tool :)

Amazing! This extension is a "must have" for anyone who needs to save and reopen specific groups of tabs across browser sessions on a regular basis.

I searched this kind of tool for a long time, a tab group saver that's actually works. Now i can maintain few chrome windows and open the rest only as needed from tabox without needing to rearranging the tab group again. Thanks a lot Gil, wish you a prosperous & happy life

This is awesome, but please let us browse the saved tabs kind of like onetabs. That will be helpful if we just want to open one specific tabs from the backup

Hi, I love this extension. I tried all other extension options, that supposedly would save the tabs with groups, but in the end they'd either save only groups, or become so laggy that I couldn't load the extension. So, congrats, you've done it! a really simple, yet efficient way to save tabs while also saving groups within. But I have an issue. To sync it, I must login into my google account, but the way that this extension asks me to login is different from every other extension I've used. It asks me to type my email, password and my 2-Step Verification. Other apps would only ask me to ''allow'' the extension. I'm not a developer, and I have little to no knowledge about it. So, I have to ask, is it safe to login with my google account in order to sync it, is it normal to give all this information about my account to a very specific pop-up? Thanks for the extension, either way!

Awesome extension! The newer versions complements Chrome's Tab Group functionality. A search feature to quickly find the collection you are looking for would be a great addition. I read in one of the review responses that new version will provide additional editing capabilities. Looking forward to trying them out. This is a must have for me.

Wow I been searching for months on how to keep my group tabs and chrome supposively keeps them and relaunches them but when a computer restarts due to auto patching and auto reboots then it doesn't keep my group tabs. Even though I think this should be builtin to chrome, it's awesome to see an extension filling that void. Thank you so much!! One thing I wish is that it auto adds/removes tabs/groups from the collection that I'm using as I add/remove tabs/groups. I setup sync so I figured it would sync all of them, but I think it just syncs the stored collections but I have to manually hit the "update" button to update the collection. I wish there was an option to auto sync the collection with the current window. I know you may run into collisions if they have multiple windows open but give them an option to select the active window for a specific collection and default it if that's the first one open to avoid collisions. Fantastic work! This deserves to be a stock feature in chrome. Maybe it would be too greedy to ask this but is there a tabox like software that works for windows? Where I can save all running apps in their current state and then resume working on them at a later stage (this is what hibernating the machine does, but it exists only for a single session though)?

Hi Gil, so far this is looking like a great extension for my work in sales where you switch between multiple window sets of cloud based tools. It may get me down off those days of 20+ tabs :-) Google Drive Sync is also standout for a service like this. So many tab extensions I've used have been good but don't offer this, and one I found hasn't been updated for a few years. The real need to make it good at switching between different work modes would be if there was a setting that could tell you already had 3x tabs open for different apps ( say Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Contacts) and not open them again when you choose a different tab set. You might call it a duplicate check, so that you can easily switch between tab sets without opening in another window then closing the old window. Hope that idea is possible. Andrew

Excellent! It saves all the tabs even if you've added them to a group and the assigned colors are restored as well. I also like the way I can select any saved session directly from the drop-down menu. Thanks for your work!

This is the extension that I was desperate for! I typically have 10 or even more groups, with a small bunch of tabs in each (work stuff; I know), and losing them is a huge time-waster (and it has happened). This makes me very happy today. Thank you so much!

Hi Gil, Thank you so much for your fantastic support and quick resolution of the issue I’ve had. Now I can perfectly organize with Tabox multiple Chrome windows I use for the trading at one virtual desktop and on the primary work related stuff. I have setup with 8 monitors and sometimes with multiple windows and tabs on each, groups based on various topics and ability to save all setup with Tabox is really huge help, something I was looking for. When I downloaded Tabox first time, was a little disappointed to find out something is not right. When have had opened multiple windows and was organizing groups in another window after save and reopening the groups has been missing, Tabox reopened only tab’s. After some testing I was sure must be a bug, have contacted Gil with all details and then come something I really didn’t expect. Gil has found the problem, identified also other minor issue (I didn't mention as it was just cosmetic) did fix it and uploaded new version 3.3.2 in here within just two days!! I just tested and everything works perfectly fine :-) I'm so grateful for Tabox and his way of work, great job Gil !!! Kind Regards Radim Horak

Not surprised that the geniuses of Google added group tabbing but no session savings. This app saves your tabs and groups, and will tell you how many of each is open. For my test, the extension showed I had 25 tabs (4 Groups), and I like that I can name each session as well. Thanks for the save, Gil!

Excellent. Can save restore tabs and groups from previous session or a named session. The option to open tabs in the current window doesn't appear to work on mine. Chrome Version 88.0.4324.150 (Official Build) (64-bit) on linux mint but that's a small thing. Great extension. Thank you very much.

FANTASTIC !!! Why did I discover this so late ? Keep maintaining it and take it to next level, Chrome and all other Browsers should have buy you by now, try stay neutral if you can :-) of course. PS: When movin from 1 PC to another, tabs (names and colors) don't come up - probably some bug fixes, nevertheless the idea is fantastic - needs bug fixing and support obviously

I would have 5*'ed it if the group were saved along with that window they are located in. I have 3 Chrome windows and around 3 groups in each. This extension only restores the groups in the first tab though does seem to clam to have saved the others.

Hands down this is what was needed for Tab Groups on launch day. Thank you Tabox for getting this out to the masses!

This extension is an essential part of my workflow. It's actually quite strange that Chrome hasn't implemented this functionality themselves already if you consider how useful it is.

Pretty good, first one I've seen with support for tab groups. Just needs a few bug fixes, small features and some way to browse the tabs in a saved session then 5 stars

I'm concerned about the new API permissions. Read/Change OAuth2 security token data sounds insecure to me. Leaving the extension disabled until somebody can clarify.,

Exactly the type of Chrome extension I've been searching for but couldn't find before. It's very simple and does everything I want. It even has an optional synch feature via google account for easy access on a different computer. One of the must have extensions for me.

5/5 without a doubt. Saves me so much time when I'm working. I keep 5 tabs+ open at any given time and I have to switch between sets of tabs depending on the task. This saves me a lot of time. I'd give it more stars If I could and recommend it highly. Keep up the great work Gil!

Didn't save the chrome tab groups. Does something I guess someone wants but I want to save chrome tab groups.

It can save a set of tabs. It does not save Chrome's tab groups and the description is misleading. It's probably fine at what it does, but what it does is unrelated to the actual tab group feature.

Simple, clean, easy to use. It's the perfect tool for grouping tabs to keep your workspace manageable, and repeatable - a real time saver.

Came across this extension on accident while looking for a way to save chrome tab groups. This definitely does what I was looking for (named group with a defined set of tabs). It's clean and makes sense. The one thing I would prefer is a confirmation when clicking the delete button for a tab group. Excellent job. Thank you.
