It works ok, but it keeps randomly switching from normal to upscale. Which is damn annoying.

Doesn't work on disney +, it just stops the video or doesn't do anything at all

This is currently the only extension that really works, in all situations, on any website. All others I've tried have issues. Note: You sometimes need to switch the resizing mode depending on the site and the video that's playing.

This extension is perfect - I have a 16:10 monitor and it perfectly upscales the video so there is no stretching/deforming when you hit the fullscreen button! That means it chops off the sides of the video slightly on my monitor, however I prefer that over the video being stretched. No other wide screen extension does it as seamlessly as this one. Edit: It's important to note that you can hit the extension icon at the top toolbar to change from "stretch" to "upscale" to get this result - I thought the extension broke on me for a while but just didn't realize this

Needs an option to disable upscale... too many times it randomly switched to it when all I wanted was to stretch the video...

youtube added letterboxing to old music videos, so they look terrible on CRTs. NO LONGER!

Works beautifully in Peacock. Ultrawide video content actually fills my ultrawide monitor perfectly now, instead of being surrounded by a thick black frame on all sides. I can't believe this extension is even needed - how are these services not coded to perform this way on their own? - but I'm so glad it exists! Great job. Thank you, so much. (That said, I don't know where else it works or doesn't, but I'm very happy so far.)

- Claims to work everywhere (and in fact says it is the only such add-on to work everywhere!). - Doesn't work on Hulu, in Chrome or Firefox.

I'm not sure why, but when i do the full screen for 21:9, the screen gets washed out on my Alienware OLED monitor. Other apps doesn't wash out my screen but zooms in too much.

Finally what i'v been looking for, works great!

It's Okay, but doesn't work with 5120x1440 Samsung Odyssey Neo G9. Stretch looks funky and Upscale cuts the bottom and top off. First one of these add-ons/extensions that actually does something though. I'll be keeping an eye on it for updates.

Best Ultra Wide Video Extension

Tried a few other extensions I saw mentioned on reddit to fix Disney+ not working with 21:9, but they all failed to work with subtitles. This one did the trick instantly.

Works great in Firefox. Doesn't work well in Chrome. Have to constantly restart Chrome to get settings to take effect. Firefox no issues.

Used to be a 5 for Disney Plus, now it doesn't work at all. 3 for old times sake.

Tried it with Disney+ and Moon Knight. Doesn't work at all. Also, it's permissions grant it COMPLETE ACCESS to ALL DATA FROM EVERY SITE YOU VISIT which is INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS and COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY for a "video stretcher" to work. I highly recommend everyone uninstall it unless you badly want your IDENTITY STOLEN!

Works on various streaming sites, good and simple extension, can recommend.

It was the only one out of about 5 extensions I tried that was intuitive, albeit maybe a bit too simple, but worked on Prime video despite others advertising they work on Prime video. I'm sure some of the other ones were capable, but if so, were unintuitive. Thank god I can finally watch Die Hard and fill the screen!

This is the best best best best extenion ever its aspect doesn't cut the heads of the people and i love it. The ultrawide things are useless

Upscale almost worked for me which is better than any of the other ultrawide extensions I tried. It seemed to work on hbomax.com but I noticed that it cropped the edges of the video when filling the 21:9 screen. I think it should fill the height rather than the width. It'd leave bars on the left and right but would be as big as it could and still fit on the monitor.

Netflix doesn't stretch all the way. Using on MacBook Pro + Chrome. Pls fix if you can. I love this extension.

Fixed Disney Plus Letterboxing!

This app works in some places and not others. Currently I'm experiencing an issue where both upscale AND stretch only stretch horizontally, not vertically. So the image stretches sideways and doesn't actually work. Please let me know if you need any additional information to fix this issue or if you can help me troubleshoot.

Just stretches the picture, "upscale" mode not working.

Great app but hard to find in Edge Chromium. The only main problem is that in Chrome the switch modes don't apply realtime as when using this app in Firefox, I always have to restart the browser. One addition I's like this app to have is to have modes for more aspect ratios.

XPS 13 16:10 Upscale is same as strech. does not crop video to fit the screen just streches it.

This does what is needed for my 21:9 ultrawide when watching clips on youtube that are squished. The problem is that if the video is a regular 16:9 it crops. There was an extension long ago that could automatically distinguish the 2 and you could leave it on forever but due to changes on my end or chrome's I have never found another app that did this successfully. So the problem is I have to manually turn on or off for individual videos.

Finally an app that lets me utilize my ultra wide monitor.

Not working for Showtime

This extension works wayy better than "Ultrawidify" and the UI is wayyyy better. I use this on a 16:10 aspect ratio and it works perfectly!

Hey, This is working great except i cant set any shortcuts or the shortcut thats listed with it doesnt work. So is there anything i can do about it?

Works, but crops videos. I would like it to only remove black bars, not cut actual video information when going fullscreen.

Worked well for me. Some users might need to head into the options tab to adjust settings to get the right fit.

Works and simple

Doesn't crop to the black bars. All it does is zoom to have the outside edges match your screen which means some or a ton of the video gets cut off. It needs to be able to zoom to eliminate encoded horizontal and vertical black bars. You may still have them on the sides but you are zooming to 100% of the actual image size. With a ultra superwide, you never get a watchable video with it enabled as half the top and bottom of the picture gets cut off.

Excelent, did the work perfectly

Works great with Chome + Macbook Air + Youtube. Netflix doesn't stretch all the way for most titles. Please improve for next version: - Fix Netflix to work with all aspect ratios and stretch to whole screen - Shortcuts (would be great not to be limited to control+command+letter. Pausing with shortcut works but unpausing does not.)

Doesn't work for Vudu unfortunately.

2.02 Working for Hulu, Netflix, Youtube again

Works on most places (2.0.1) such as youtube, but can't seem to work on hulu, the video is moved up and to the left portion of the screen instead of stretched or upscaled oof.

Works for HBO Now where nothing else I tried did.

No app worked for embedded players and this one did work everywhere like on YouTube, Netflix, even on Openload video sources. Thank you for publishing it! Much love :D

This extension is the best on the market right now for UltraWide screens. I feel sorry for those that leave a review and never come back to update their review. If something is broken, don't leave a bad review, rather contact the developer and he will fix it. Giving 5 stars, because all these bad reviews are no longer valid. Keep up the good work!

Unfortunately the extension does nothing.

This app was awesome up until it stopped working. It just wont work anymore. It was working great, used it on Hulu and YouTube. I even tried it on Firefox and it wont work on it either.

Stopped working as of the latest chrome update

Same for me here, not working anymore. Basically doesnt scale nor stretch anymore. Not on youtube, not on any other site. Hoping for an update soon, worked lovely before. Version 71.0.3578.98 (Official Build) (64-bit) Tried reinstalling the extension, restarting pc, all the basic stuff. Still doesnt work ): Btw amazing app, it's literally so good I can't thank you enough for your hard work.
