This works very well. The only issue I have is that scroll gestures don't work on any scrollable page. For example, M2+Scroll cycles tabs left and right, but if one of the tabs is scrollable, like an article, the gesture breaks. It would be great if there was an option to bypass/ignore scrolling when holding either right/left click.

Great - a no BS solution, seems-like. Although, I notice that this and other mouse-gesture extensions I've tried (that were worse) all can't seem to work on the initial chrome home page. That seems to be an issue with chrome itself, but I'd like to bring it up in case the dev of this head-shoulders above the rest extension could look into it and maybe find a way to fix it or let me know how to correct it on my end. I'm on a brand new fresh install of chrome and this is the only extension I have installed on it at the moment.

Works good, however when enabled right click with the trackpad stops working from time to time. Rocker gestures are disabled. I'm with Mac Book Pro M1.

Works as advertised. Only shortfall: no Close Other Tabs functionality

This extension doesn't pretend to do anything else than providing a very clean, clear and usable mouse gestures feature. Well done devs !

Works really well. An integral part of my workflow now! Highly recommended. May take quite some time to configure and to get used to it but totally worth it in the long run.

Simple to config. Easy to use. I was using CrxMouse, but I really didn't feel comfortable with it's permission to read the clipboard copy and paste. I couldn't find a way to turn that off, so I found this which does not have that permission. Thank you.

Cool! Simply and clearly fit my needs. Especially the customizable tab postion for New Tab, Copy Tab, Search Text, etc. Because I like to open such tab in right next tab, instead of default tab at last.

Love this extension; however, when I sync my extensions with Microsoft Edge, my settings are not transferred along with the extension from Google Chrome. Do I really need to reconfigure all my extension options in Edge, or is there another way to sync these settings??? Help. Please. And, thank you.

I like this extension. But I don't see the hint is shown when I drag the Link or Text (like "Open in new tab" or "Copy text"). Which option should I enable to have such hint?

great app but can you please fix the rocker gestures to switch tabs please. its really not quick like other gesture extensions i have tried.

It's good but there is a problem. While searching for text on google, if the text contains "&" sign then it omits everything after it. For instance, if I want to search for "Command & Conquer", it will only search for "Command" and will omit "Conquer". Hope you fix this.

Good... but it will be better when Zoom function works well. When cursor is placed on TOP of web page, it works.

I’ve been a long time user of gestures extensions on another browser. Gestures have become essential to me. It’s the first extension I search for on any browser. So this review is somehow a comparison with other gesture extensions. In general, the extension works. It makes navigation easier and faster. But there are a couple features from other extension that I’d love the developers to incorporate. First, take advantage of a gesture, differentiating its action base on the component of a pages it’s performed on. For example, say you have gesture A. You could have the a “Starting point” to actions mapping something like. Start point: Action Link: Open link in new tab Text selection: Search that text in new tab Image: Open image in new tab Empty: Open home page in new tab. In all fairness, I haven’t seen an extension with that many variations of a single gestures. But at IMHO, it would improve the functionality without increasing usage complexity. Another improvement opportunity, is documentation, like adding a short description of features in the options page. When I started using this extensions is seems like the simple drag “module” wasn’t working but at the same time, I didn’t know how it was supposed to work. It took resetting the Mini-App configuration to get drags working again. And I would have gotten there sooner if I knew how the drags were supposed to work and what a Mini-App is. Finally, I noticed that scroll related gestures don't work on ServiceNow. This a very specific case and I’m not a fan of ServiceNow, but I have to use it for work an if something could be done about this, it'd be great. Overall, I do recommend smartUp Gestures, while I hope its developer will find my comments helpful.

Tried a bunch of "mouse gesture" addons and extensions from both Chrome and Firefox. This extension is hands down the best I've seen in a long while. Will always be installed in any browser I use. The instructions are pretty intuitive. It's very customizable and easy to learn. No issues. Keep up the good work!

This should be a default settings in all based chrome browser. Can't use any browser without mouse gesture, from the "Firefox" day and now in "Chrome" based browser. Using it for year now in a standalone "Slimjet" browser. Thank you so much for making this absolutely incredible add-on. LOVE IT :-)

Simple yet powerful

"Open link in tab" gestures don't work on Google search results - the one thing I do the most. And, strangely, they don't work when trying to open extensions in the Chrome Webstore, either!

Where are the essentials "Close other tabs" and the "Close tabs to the right" and "Close tabs to the left". I'm uninstalling this because of this reason. Other wise seems to work the couple of minutes I tested it.

Smooth, actual mouse options instead of barebone options other extensions give

If this is going to run in absence of a Chrome window being open, this app is gone from my computer. It worked fine up to now, but I don't use it often enough to keep it if it is going to turn into a possible spy app.

Default gestures are bad and clunky in general. Consider using Opera gestures standard. The trailing line is shown even when it is explicitly switched off in the settings.

Does exactly what I need it to do. The best part is that the code is open source.

Have not tried to long but wanted a mouse gesture that dont collect my data and this is the one found. So far its working as intended. Good work. One thing though, the first welcome message looks strange and its not very clear. Maybe remove it or make it more understandable without the <li> tags and stuff.

I waited for this kind of plugin for years, since i moved from Firefox to Chrome. Things that would take many clicks, and done often. Saves me a lot of time and effort.

Change to this tool because another popular extention cause crash. It works so far. One disadvantage, the option window size is sooooo small!

Awesome app 2 things tho. There should be a tutorial. couldn't figure out few things like difference between super and simple drag. Also the wheel gestures didnt work for me but other stuff worked all i needed so still 5 star. Suggestion would be ability to hold buttons cntl or alt to add more functions to same actions so instead of having to make a more complex drawing or to add to the rocker gestures which is only 2 functions hold L(R) click R(L)

Great extension! Only improvement I can think of with the mouse gestures is to actually show a focused "map of pathways" when right mouse button is held down.

Finally, at long last I've found a mouse gesture that fully replicates my old Firefox Mouse Redux gesture. The rather obscure feature I was longing for was when reopening a closed tab that the tabs history was still maintained so it was still possible to go 'back' through the previous pages. Thanks - I've now deleted SmoothGestures as that was the previous best one (where Mouse Wheel Tab Scrolling worked well)

I really wanted to like this, as it was one of the more highly rated gesture extensions. The basic features are limited and do not work properly. The most common, tried-and-true mouse gesture is the rocker gestures. If you can't get that right, don't bother. Well, to start with, the rocker gestures are strange. You have to hold one button, click and release the other, then release the first button. "Rocker" gestures are supposed to let you rock the buttons, meaning you can do a quick "left/right" click or "right/left" click in a rocking motion. On top of this shortfall, even when I perform the gesture correctly, it doesn't work. I set left left/right and right/left up and copy and paste. The copy works, but the paste doesn't. I'm uninstalling and trying one of the simpler extensions that can hopefully provide the basic gesture features. This extension tries to do too much and fails at the basics. I may be completely alone here, because others seem to love it. Maybe they just have never used a really solid gesture app or driver (like the ones that come with mainstream mice, i.e. Logitech). I understand that the app is free, and I do appreciate the developer providing it. I just feel it's my responsibility to the end users to help drive the 4.6 rating down to something more reasonable. Otherwise, they may waste their valuable time like I did.

option Decrease/Increase number in URL doesn't respect leading zeroes (like in 0017.jpg, after using it you get 16.jpg/18.jpg without 00) and doesn't work with very large numbers (when filename is all numbers).

Stupid gesture doesnt even open link in background tab. Useless.

Solid feature set. Interface is not very intuitive. Gestures can be tied to right or middle mouse button. "Drag" gestures are tied to left mouse button. Also the permissions for the current version are a reasonable "Read and change data on websites you visit" and "Display notifications" so I have no idea what Duncan is looking at.

Superbly customisable ! Not the prettiest interface, but does the job remarkably well. I find this one faster and simpler than crxMouse.

Normal behaviour of mouse clicks did not work after installing this extension. Needed to use double-click for normal single-click. Seems as if the extension captures the mouse for the gestures behaviour which is really annoying.

How am I supposed to change the gestures for a specific action if you state yourself, that drawing gestures is disabled on chrome settings pages? Sadly there is no option to enter a gesture by typing it. Furthermore, the menu is extremely cumbersome on a regular desktop pc (absolutely tiny popup).

Works well. But I'm missing two key gestures I do have in Maxthon browser. First, "Find in page", which opens up the search box for the current page. Second, "Add all pages to favorites", which allows all open pages - tabs to be bookmarked at once.

Nice! but the option page cannot be displayed in Chrome 54 on MacOSX 10.12 automatically after clicking option on the menu. Have to refresh to display.

Nailed it! It's been a long time coming, and the road has seen many different attempts by many different developers; quite a few were pretty good and reasonably stable, but... This is the first rendition of a gesture extension to get it perfect. Well done!

I use the rocker and wheel gestures. It's the fastest way for me to navigate history; like in Opera! :)

Could there please be an option to have the same gesture do two separate things depending on whether it is on a link or not? Like it used to be in Opera: - Drag down on a link: open the link in a new tab - Drag down not on a link: open a new tab Both performed with right click. The drag option does not work with right mouse button.
