Acceptable, but it's prone to some corruption like most OCR programs are. It's not as good as the apple gallery OCR, but pretty good

Not perfect but it works. So far tried it on Google Play Books. Have to make some edits but overall, does what it does. Copy Fish doesn't work as well but it works much better once you download something else on Top. I'm trying to avoid that. This app does it.

I really love this extension. It does exactly what it says. Just select a slide, image or video with text on it and it will extract and generate the text so you can copy to clipboard.

Accuracy is too poor and completely useless
Doens't work at all. Never gets even simple text right and results are all inconsistent.
This saved me so much time copying from unselectable PDFs
It doesnt even work with constant error messages about permissions or whatnot, not a single clue on the website as to what it could be
it's completely free and can detect for example the letter G even if half of it is covered by a cursor. I got this because blackbox which is a similar and way worst extension started making people pay 30$ a month even though its already very inaccurate.

Sometimes never runs. When it does run, it glitches out and half of it is just random letters.

The best one as far as I see.
Terrible OCR, the character recognition is horrific and if your text is even slightly angled, it just doesn't work.
I wish it had options to automatically copy the text to clipboard, option to translate the text & an option to share &/or save the text.
Did not work at all. The error message said that there were "missing Host Permissions". After a lot of digging, I discovered indications that this *might* refer to a file called MANIFEST,JSON , but the developer's website gives no clue as to what the missing code should be. I'd love to get this going, but at present it's useless.

It works great for school as the E-Books my school are not copyable which makes it annoying to take notes from but his really helps. 5/5

Detection for Japanese was very bad and the extension was not able to load the language model in Brave.

Perfect, my teacher uploads books pdfs and we cant copy the text from it for quotes so I use this. :)
I tried it on some German text and it did a pretty good job, but it put the letter c instead of e in dozens of words and had trouble with special characters: specifically umlauts (ü, ä) and ß. Fix those issues and it'll be a five-star product.
