really great extension, forgot i was watching youtube live because of how clean the experience is. chat feels like it actually exists now.

Cool extension, Theatre mode is great. Cannot seem to find where the shop is. Not intuitive.

really liked it overall, the only things I wish could be fixed in the "chat while in theater mode feature"... it works great when in normal window, but if you ever do split screen the chat takes up what is now half the window (split). I just find that I constantly have to disable and enable it depending on whether I go split screen or not, but I am hopeful my seemingly niche problem could be fixed with a simple toggle.

Amazing app! Makes Youtube so much better, it's really going to change the balance of power.

i have the extension downloaded on my chrome and i have the icon to the left of the create button on my youtube homepage and i see the emotes in chat but i can't find how to change my color of my name or anything else.

I've really enjoyed my experience with Truffle. It has made enjoy streams more. The chat flows better and I like that we can use certain emotes. I also like gaining points to win stuff or vote.

I love the Theater Mode Chat adjustment feature, I just want to know if there will be a way to disable the "Twitch Chat" style name coloring and use YouTube's Grey/Green/Blue/Yellow name color system.

EXTENSION STOPPED WORKING! using up to date extension and browser, extension goes to sign in then window disappears and never signs me in ive reached out to the truffle support on their website and twitter, get a few responses but then they stop answering please help me fix this

the extension is nice, but it could use some more feature on the youtube side: - reply. - channel points. - custom username colors. - auto-live chat. - auto-live sync to stream. - sound alerts for mentions. - full message highlight for mentions. - polls. - lowest possible latency option " for both stream and chat ". - custom mention options. " more words to mean you, whether @ or not ". - userscript compatibility " for those of us having to use them to revert youtubes bad UI ". - better mod tools. " basically the stuff from twitch, but applied to youtube ". - custom badge display options. " stuff like member badge, mod badge, owner badge, mute badge, audio only badge, etc ". a few of these are probably already on the youtube side, but i simply don't know how to get to them. - either way, it's a great extension, and i look forward to how much better it can become.

10x chat experience

Love the extension, but please split out each of the customization options into SEPARATE toggles! For example I want icons on the left and colons after usernames, but keep user avatars. Can only do all or none currently!

Emotes and points/predictions are cool, but the Theater Mode is truly *chef kiss*! Hope it will be out of Experimental and become the default view soon. Now that Truffle support is opened up to other creators on the waitlist, soon everyone who are moving over from Twitch are going to want it.

lost all points when transferred to a different browser, specifically opera gx, lost all my hard earned points. otto should fix it

Works great except whenever I change the color of my username, it never shows in chat and stays the default.

Easily 5 stars, but the recent YouTube UI update broke the setting to have chat next to the stream in Theater Mode. The option is still there, but it just puts the chat underneath the window again with a blank space where the chat would be normally. Hoping this gets fixed soon.

Didn't worked at all, crippled my youtube experience, youtube was stuttering and struggling a lot, I don't recommend it. Just use regular youtube chat, otherwise your youtube expirience is pretty much ruined. Disappointed.

extension doesn't allow me to give it access to anything other then youtube so I can't get a shorter cooldown

The extension is good, but the pixel cooldown for the Ludwig our/place take forever not 30 seconds like it promisesd

I love it. I use it on my macbook i love that it has streamer points and predictions cause knowing im getting points every 4 minutes keeps me in chat. I love it in Luds chat but i wish sykunno used it.

super creative way of solving a lot of youtube's livestreaming problems, especially if you prefer twitch as a platform but want to watch someone that streams on youtube. it takes a minute to get used to, but is overall very nice and seamless. :)

I use Mac and custom theater mode does not work, experimental features automatically turns off.

Extension forces a ??PIGGY ?? icon on the top of every YouTube page. Why did they do this? Why is there no way to disable this SPAM?? 1 ⭐ star until you get over your PIG obsession (fetish?)

Doesn't work on Macbook on youtube. Only thing that changed is the logo/menu is on the youtube page now. otherwise didn't change how chat looked at all and doesn't go on the side of video when in theater mode

Enabled this so I could see BatChest. I don't like that there's a square always over my youtube video, and I don't like that there's a pig always in the top right. The rest of it is fun but there should be an option to disable that, imo

It's a really well built extension and has some very creative solutions for watching streams on youtube and ways to make it more engaging. I do with there was an option to toggle who you see on your twitch follow page though. It's annoying to see DrLupo every time I hop on twitch especially when I don't even follow him on any social media

Pretty cool extension. but now on twitch i sometimes get notifications for youtube streams that I dont care about. I dont follow DrLupo so why is he showing up for me on twitch?

EVERYTHING IS GOOD. ONLY ONE GRIPE (i'm just being nitpicky) MAKE THE BTTV AND FFZ EMOTES BIGGER TO MATCH TWITCH CHAT FEEL. like just make them a bit bigger, there a bit small rn compared to twitch. THAT IS ALL OVERALL 5/5 STARS IM JUST BEING ANNOYING

Great job on this. It said I wasn't logged in one time, but I think it was because the chrome profile was a different account than my YouTube? It's fine now that I made a new profile tho

Works like a charm, not sure why people are trying to use this while viewing on Twitch? This is an extension built for YT after all... The features and updates have come through perfectly, I'm curious if it will be able to be updated to make all of my YT Livestream chats as legible and fun as Lud's.

Paused youtube videos randomly... Don't get me wrong, the actual purpose of the mogul.tv extension is cool and helpful when watching live streams and even reading chat while streaming by slowing down chat occasionally. buuuuuut the fact that on actual videos it would randomly pause them at the 2 minute mark was quite triggering to me. So 2 stars for now...

Remember to uninstall and reinstall when this updates if you're using chrome. At least I had to. Great extension. Easy to use.

i cant speak for those using google chrome and firefox, but as someone using a chromium based browser the extension had to be uninstalled and reinstalled to update great job on the extension, keep up the good work!

Works really well. I love how I was able to get my months I was subbed on twitch back and the new chat looks awesome. My only critique is that I was subbed 19 months on twitch and I can only put 18 months in but 1 month doesn't really matter. Thanks Otto!

Used to not work for me on Brave browser, but now works perfectly after a relatively recent update. Loving it!

Uninstalled as you haven't been able to sign in for over a month and im not sure if it does anything on twitch but there's a broken ludwig link on there that doesn't work.

it was working at first for like a month. for some reason it stopped working with the chat changing only the ability to use custom theatre mode. i removed and added it back multiple times and it saddens me because its working for lud on his stream. i can no longer connect my twitch account it says "Account connection is temporarily disabled. Please try again tomorrow." for over a month now whenever i try to log in. im keeping it bc seeing emotes and the theatre mode i enjoy but just disappointing that i cant change the chat colors to make it easier to read. either way i like it and the idea and hopefully it can be fixed and work eventually understanding this is a one man job and is still a relatively new extension.

Plugin is off to a great start, but needs some work. Otto if you read this, the following things should be implemented, in my opinion: 1) When using twitch, when clicking on Ludwigs name the first time, it doesn't show his stream. You have to refresh the page, or load somebody elses stream and then load his again. It should work on first click without needing to do this. 2) There should be an option in the plugin that allows you to replace the twitch chat with the youtube chat. It would basically just hide the twitch chat, and embed the youtube chat in that same space. The way it is now splits the community, and many may not even realize it, and that's a mistake in my opinion. 3) Add the 'settings' icon that appears in the youtube header to also appear in the twitch header. I spent a good 10 minutes trying to figure out how to get to the extension settings until I realized I had to load up youtube to get to them. Can also add it to the right click menu when clicking on the plugin from the chrome extension bar. 4) Not sure if this is in the roadmap or not, but you should make this for firefox too. 5) Add more style options for the chat. Allow alternate colors for each line, separators, emote size, font size + name, etc.. Just copy whatever Chatterino has, lol. 6) Add notifications & highlights based on X, where X = username, badge, message, and regex. That's it for now. I know this is a work in progress, but adding all of this will drastically make the plugin better. I have a lot of experience with software qa, so if you have any questions let me know, thanks. Uninstalled because it started showing ludwig in my twitch sidebar whenever he has a scheduled stream but is not actually live, most of the yt functionality was down when I tried to set it up as well. Bit frustrating as I actually watched lud after the switch a few times b/c of this extension & yt player is objectively better but I don't want to get clickbaited into luds offline screen constantly.

Meh. Very bare-bones. BTTV emotes don't show up in offline chat. No autocomplete with Tab, and it's been a month already. Don't blame Otto for Twitch attempting to decouple itself from the extension, but it's surprising to me that it was even thought possible that Twitch wouldn't plug it off. All in all, this extension adds nothing more than what the competition does; recommend switching to Better Naifu YouTube Gaming. Will certainly revise my rating once channel points and new features are added, but for now I'm not holding my breath given the lack of updates.

Its great but the only problem is that custom theater mode chat covers a part of the right side of the stream.

The extension breaks Twitch.tv None of the home page will load when its active and my follwing side bar doesnt load either so i cant see is any streamers are online. really annoying hopefully it will be patched but i dont see where to submit bugs.

Worked amazing the first 3 weeks, but now I cant access twitch without it graying out my following list and streams on the website. If I wanted to watch a certain creator, the only way to do so is to go to their channels link. Even then, bttv and channel points disappear along with their channels info, viewer count, extensions, etc disappearing too :/

I'm having an issue where every time I attempt to connect my Twitch account I receive an error stating "Account connection is temporarily disabled. Please try again tomorrow." I've tried this across multiple different browsers based on Chrome and the issue persists. I successfully connected when the extension was relatively new but it hasn't worked since. Back when I was able to link my accounts my name in chat didn't change nor was I able to view or send Twitch emotes in Ludwig's chat. In addition, I was not able to change settings under the "Emotes" tab through the extension. The improved theater mode was working great and there are no issues with that functionality but that's the only thing that's been working on the extension for me. I've tried disabling other extensions in my browsers including ad-blockers and other YouTube-centric extensions that I have but none of that has solved my above issues. Hopefully there is a patch coming soon as this is a super cool idea and seems to have helped others improve the transition from Twitch to YouTube for Lud's streams.

Best extension ever. I too made a extension for Mr. Ahgren but this is better then mine lol
