Sometimes doesn't work
Plain and simply doesn't work. Click the download button on the page itself -opens the video, but doesn't download. Click the download button on the video -pauses the video and doesn't download. If you have it just remove it.
Please fix it. Downloading videos works great but mass download doesn't work .It would be grate if you fix this and if possible to download video without watermark that would be great.

Stopped working about November / December 2020. Developer has made no effort to update it since.
Used to be the best tiktok downlaoder, no loading wahtsover, but seem Dev abandoned this one

It was working fine yesterday, but as off today (November 24th), it's no longer working, and all I get when I click the icon in my toolbar is a message that says this extension is no longer maintained.

Absolute trash. It didn't work and from the other reviews, I can clearly tell it hasn't worked for a while. I guess I shouldn't complain because it is free, but it's safe to say this extension is utter garbage.
Used to be a good extension, no longer supported and doesn't work like it used to
It only works for those videos which downloads are allowed by the user. This extension doesn't download those videos which are not allowed by the users.

Failed - Network Error It was fine a few days back, but not anymore. Individual videos or mass download, both no longer work. Tried with chrome and portable chrome installations, still nothing. update: apparently it only work on For You Page and Following page. Won't work when you are in user's profile page.
It works, but only on the front page and the 'following' page, would be perfect if it worked on people's profiles please
An excellent extension that seems to have now stopped working. Updated to version 1.2.2 but it still appears to not work.

Excellent extension (when it works). Too bad its developers don't match its level of excellence. Come on, boys. It's 2020. You either fix its hiccups and snafus (and speedily) or else someone else will come along to eat your lunch. Meaning that others will develop a better app, with fewer hiccups and snafus, which consumers will run to. TikTok Downloader has been malfunctioning for DAYS now (read the comments accumulating under "SUPPORT") but its developer(s) must be in a coma. Hello? Anybody there?

Good app but mass download intermittently stops working
Great extension
Wanted this for mass downloading, but even with "Ask where to save each video before downloading (except mass downloads)" turned off, mass downloads still prompt the user to manually OK the save.
People should be grateful that an extension like this even exists, for free! I imagine those commenting negatively realise that TikTok can change how they do things behind the scenes at any given point in time, which may cause an extension like this to break unexpectedly. So hats off to the developer for putting in the time and effort to maintain a great little tool.
Download all option not working. Just installed the latest version of the extension and updated chrome to the version as well. Hope there will be a fix to this.
Wonderful App ! Working again as a mass downloader after 1.2.0 update as of 8th October. Just one piece of engineering is missing from it. Please add an option to download videos with or without watermark.
Used to work, but now the "download all videos on page" doesn't work - just shows random videos edit: never mind

IT WORKS Although, the slyling of image previews in the popup could be better. But it works!
Great extension. When TikTok makes changes it usually breaks the extension for a few days, but lalit is always on top of it and rolls out a fix very quickly. Great work!
Failed - Network Error tried now again with 1.1.6, has not been working for a while now...worked great till last month..
Edit - Working now with version 1.1.6 Download failed : Network error Chrome Version 85.0.4183.121 (Official Build) (64-bit) TikTok Downloader version 1.1.4 Also rather than naming the download as "download" please name it as the title of the video as Chrome stops auto renaming files after 100 downloads

Great extension but is it me or is the "Download All" button not working? I can individually download it but not mass.
It doesn't work at all. Apparently there was a recent update to tiktok and this extension no longer functions properly.

Yeah its good at first, then the mass download stopped working, i download 1 by 1 and then now it doesn't even download. Previously it took the name straight from the tiktok username was great for me
Love the concept but : 1) downloads no longer work 2) when you make an update please PLEASE make it so that we can download it all at once instead of having to click to confirm everysingle download :))) thank you

This was excellent about a month ago, but now there are some problems: ----- 1) Instead of recording the TikToker's username in the file, it is simply called 'download'. This means that you have to manually rename files so that they do not overwrite the old ones, because when you start a new session the files will be called download, download (1) and so on. 2) Today (16/09/2020) mass downloads stopped working completely, though this issue could have started earlier. The drop down window from my extensions tabs no longer works, instead it attempts to download but says 'failed, forbidden' and no files are saved. ----- The developers clearly did a good job on this extension, however there are now many issues, perhaps it's because of TikTok being sold to Oracle. Hopefully these will clear up after the sale.
This was such a great extension! Was able to download a lot of videos that were made I think before September. But as of today, it's been failing to download all the newly made videos I've liked. It will say the download is "Forbidden".
There is no mass download button! Uninstalling
I really needed a mass download stat without having to go through and download every single video 760 times. If you do it right, it's quite easy. There are a few minor issues, such as not downloading 'private' or 'friends only' posts during the mass download, but you are able to do that manually. Overall it works great. I really needed this. Thank you so much.
very usefull tool to backup whole profilee as nowdays due to current tik tok ban
there are many tiktok downloaders out there promising forever and never delivering. this is the only one that does the job, specially the batch downloader function is awesome.

Same note as others recently... seemed to stop working last night. As of now - 9PM pacfific - the extension now does nothing. (I am using newest version 1.0.6 - turned off all extenstions, etc) Please update this great extension!

pretty good feature additions suggestions- set downloaded file name as the video file name also on mass download, prompt for a folder to dl to vs just using the chrome default
