This extension has been really helpful. Thanks a lot. However, I had a facepalm moment when I accidentally clicked this in Asana task list page. I had to manually update the task title again for all of those in the list. It'd be great if there was an option to exclude specific domains. I know we can allow extension in specific domains via chrome options, but actually being able to exclude makes more sense for this one. Thanks again!

I actually like this extension and it is helpful however there is a keyboard short that prefills everything in your page. This is very dangerous because i lost a months worth of timesheets because i accidentally pressed the shortcut. Turn this shortcut OFF by default so you don't ruin people actual data!

Fake Filler is the BEST one. I'v tried many others and Fake Filler rules them all. Great features. Customizations for fields, export/import settings, sync, many options. Defaults work good for most things. Well done! Also available for FireFox!
Used to be better, I've found the customization aren't saving any more. I've added custom fields twice and saved them, but they reset to default.
Usually works fantastic, except when i added setting Ignore Fields Match new_website it still fills it with a website.

It does its job perfectly. I was thinking of developing an extension for myself to autofill forms for testing purpose, my goodness I've found this one which saved my time and do exactly what it's intended to.
Excellent tool for web development, makes life so much easier for testing forms on the front end and not having to either fill it in manually or pre-load values via code. It's like Faker for the front end basically, and the customisable field data is top notch. Have subscribed to the pro version to support development and get a few extra juicy features, but the base free version has served me well for months.
Great, but would be better if it didn't have breakpoints that interrupt reloading pages when I debug.

I love this tool, it has helped me out a lot... I use CMD + Down Arrow to jump to the bottom of text fields and it ALWAYS replaces EVERYTHING in the field! This is exactly what the tool is supposed to do... except that nobody asked me if I wanted one of my most frequently used key combos to erase all my work. This wouldn't be such a big deal except that I CANNOT UNDO THE CHANGE IT MADE TO MY TEXT FIELD. Yes, I should be saving more often... regardless... hours of my unsaved work plucking bits of data from several sources into one giant text field in the browser... are gone. This has happened to me several times... I didn't create these large text fields they were just on the various websites I need to use... I don't want to lose all this work... WHY CAN'T I UNDO WHEN USING THIS TOOL? I changed the key combo for this functionality per the instructions in the options page of this extension... I don't see ANY info about the MISSING FUNCTIONALITY TO UNDO the changes this extension makes. It's too late to save my lost work... I'm disabling the extension, even though I updated the key command... I will only once in a while, when needed, cautiously re enable it... perhaps.
Awesome plugin i use it to test my sites forms. i've tried 3 today this is the Only one who doesn't nag you with buying their so-called PRO version. Ridiculous. Anyways yes this one is The best for chrome

Works for some things but not for others. I don't know if it's the fault of the extension or the fault of the form-developer. Somehow it doesn't match up "this is supposed to be a date" -- rather it just fills in numbers (e.g. 6064 isn't a valid year for a credit card expiration...). In areas that are supposed to be numeric only or alphanumeric, I get a lorem ipsum sentence. As a result, I have a page full of errors that I have to fix. Phone numbers almost always return errors. It will select any country for the phone number but then paste in a phone number in a different format than is appropriate for that country. Again, I'm not sure if some of this is because the developers of the form itself haven't labeled these things correctly, thus the extension doesn't know how to communicate with them. I just know it hasn't saved me much time.
As a web developer it helps me test every web form with really good data, but on multi select elements it selects all options, i wish that the developer make this option configurable
As someone who helps develop job application forms for the web, this plugin has saved me TONS of time. I do wish I could use it inside of iframes, but I understand that this is almost certainly a browser security limitation rather than an issue with the plugin.

This extension does well at what it claims... However I keep acidentally hitting a shortcut ctrl+shift+insert or something (I'm a developer) This extension then replaces textfields in the browser with Lorem Ipsum and you lose your work... not even ctrl+undo will help on this! So frustrating!!! Please make this shortcut disabled by default or change it to something very obscure (I'm aware I can do this myself too), then I'll change my rating, lost a huge amount on an important form becuase of this...

After the last updated it stopped working properly. My custom list of words for specific fields in my app are no longer used and instead I get a mix of characters. I accidentally activated it when typing a comment and could not undo. I also could not view the settings page. Useful in theory, but twice now I've knocked a key on my keyboard and had it obliterate a form I'd actually spent time filling in with junk data, including clearing the undo history so I'm unable to revert these fields. This is obviously more annoying than the time saved when I actually need the extension, so removing it.
This is the ONE. A great form filling extension.
I'm working on a .net and preact web form for International Students. There is about 50 fields. This not only saved me a ton of typing each time I added a field to my Model, but it also showed me some of the errors I had in a weird way. I would have inputs with a greater maxlength than what was defined in my SQL database. I would have never caught them without this extension. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Wonderful extension
The concept is fantastic. It just doesn't work; at least for me. It doesn't matter what I do. It will only generate random data. I can create custom fields all day long, but the extension just ignores them.

Not working... does fill only 3 fields from 20. I have tried to add custom fields but no luck. I found Lorem Fill working well.
Works Partially. Phone field never works because of the attribute precedence issue. Many websites use 'text' attribute on their phone field.
please get this plugin to attach to local documents, window.formFiller is undefined at local/bla/index.html

Hard to configure and absolutely useless for me because of this: Attributes take precedence over any configuration and may override it in some cases.
Annoying, does not fill the phone when id is checkout_step1_user_mailingAddress_phone I added this id to custom fields where phone is set. Does not fill. Ok, later somehow worked with phone. Now it does not select dropdown item which I want. I set the custom field, and type number, because selected id is number. I hope it is correct setting. But it just selected random.
Most useful extension I have found in a long time. Design and features is top notch. Well done. Needed to add 'postalCode' to the Zip Code field to make it work outside the US and other countries, otherwise worked out of the box.

This is a great extension for form validation where you have to try with valid and invalid values for various forms with different data. This has the ability to customize the data you want to use also. You can use this for just filling in some dummy data also. I have been looking for something like this for while and am so glad found this one. Great extension for QAs.

Always seems to fill type="number" with a random number, even if you specify a custom field that matches a number field's name or id attribute. Frustrating.

Super helpful! Especially the new regex support for generating email addresses and custom phone number formats.
I liked the Lorem Fill extension but found this extension offered more of what I needed. For example I needed other common textboxes e.g. Job Title to have a random Job Title entered, this tool didn't do this automatically but it does provide the option to extend the extension with your own custom randomisation. So this tool should be limitless!

Suggestion: I wonder if Form Filler devs will add save functions let's say I use Form Filler for a certain website and then Form Filler will ask if I want save the data for the website so I can review what data I use recently. Because sometimes I forgot what password I use.
All great but idk why the Flat / House No. / Floor / Building/ Colony / Street / Locality field. doesn't work. Please fix it.
