Good email tracker

This extension is really amazing. I can track if the receiver read the mail or not and I can plan my marketing accordingly.

Pretty basic and straight to the point unlike other enterprise versions. This one does the trick for the average user.

Very impressed! This is the fourth tracker I have tried, and the first one to actually work. It's trivial to set up and use.

Great little tool, embedded into linkedin for ease of use. Can help with unusual email adresses patterns. As an improvement suggestion, I wish I could filter my most opened email to prioritise my prospecting. Keep up the good work! I might move to the paid version in the future.

This is my favorite extension. There are many that make my life significantly easier and more efficient, but this one is simply the BEST!

Doesn't work for emails sent from outlook --> gmail. I tested it with my personal email accounts. It notifies me that the email was viewed immediately after sending it, even when I never opened it in gmail!

I was happy using it during the last 2-3 months and I was planning to get the Pro version during the BlackFriday. But in the last few days it wasn't working properly, their site went down and there was no announcement/update on anywhere (not even their web page that became online 1-2 hours ago) with no BlackFriday promotion whatsoever. I think I move to some other service as it seems the developer doesn't care much for this service or its customers.

Their site certainly appears down today. Not only is tracker not working but their email address is not working although I have never seen an email that ends in ".website", nor a website with that name. I agree this is a nice, simple, easy to use tracker, but have only had it two days and it's already down. Looks like this is a somewhat regular occurrence. That is very disappointing.

It is not working today and the support website is no longer in use. Can we please get an update when we can expect this to be up and running again?

5 stars for effectiveness! Unfortunately this email tracker offers a "pro" version that comes with added features and a price tag, but the free extension has proven reliable and quite helpful. As far as I know, the extension works when sending emails from a computer web browser only (no mobile compatibility), but to my amazement it is the only (free!) tracker I've found that can be used for emails sent from browser-based Outlook. No frills and simply designed, this small but mighty email tracker packs a good punch!

i recently discovered email tracking about 1 year ago and since than, i can't think of a way without it anymore :D

Well, I loved this extension. My elder brother suggested it and it works best so far. Still I am wondering how this extension works. Previously I've tried some other extensions and they used some type of links in the email. And that looks weird. Comparing with them this one is best I should say and it is free too. Being a student, I am just curious to know how this works.

I deleted and then re added Tracker but nothing works.. are you guys doing updates or have you stopped the free version . I hope you can help because its been a life saver thus far|?

Works well, mostly. Every now and then it sort of stops tracking but also I have the free version so that might be the problem.

I've been using it for years and it used to work pretty well, but not anymore .. on the latest Brave browser this thing simply won't show anything .. it just sits there .. completely useless ?

Just installed and tested it. It seems like a good extension. The 4 stars are because it is the only add-on I found that works on other sites except Gmail, even though it has some small bugs on them. I have tried it on Yahoo, it does track mails but there is no "read" symbol on Yahoo, you have to open the extension icon to check. In Gmail it seems to be working fine. It could also use a little better appearance, I hope it improves more in the future. Overall, it does the work it's meant to do.

The service does NOT make it clear if it will be able to bypass Google's image caching feature. If it does not, then IP and geolocation data is thus invalidated in the "click to open" prospective. Obviously, Email Tracker IP/geolocation data will be able to return useful information when a link that's embedded in the email is clicked by the recipient. But, it is more critical to see this information upon simply opening the email and is a determining factor for me shelling out $50 for a yearly subscription to offload the work of creating my own pixel tracking setup. P.S. I am not knocking your service and think it is great leveraging old technology. I think what would be an amazing pivot for your skills would be to create a new website (maybe under a different brand name) that allows people to generate tracking pixels in a easy step-by-step process under a web interface. This would allow people to put the pixels not only in emails, but in websites, texts, GIFs, etc very quick, easy, and with minimal programming skills. Call it TrackPixys.com (currently available for only $0.01 for the first year). Considering there are ZERO websites that do this, you would be in prime niche territory, especially since email service providers have been making it harder for email marketers to do their job and the only other alternatives are expensive $30/mo services that leave out vital features (such as IP and geolocation data). Right when a visitor lands on your website, do not baulk at prices or account sign-up. Just allow people to create tracking pixels on the homepage using a step-by-step: 1) Upload image or create a single pixel, 2) Set a domain name that you like (to avoid obvious tracking terms like "IPlogger.com/j5j6n390c"), 3) Select the data points that your are interested in (ex. IP, geolocation, device info, etc.) which allows you to trim down on processing resources 4) Enter email where the results will be sent for each open/click OR finally sign-up for a free/paid account to get access to an online dashboard for easy sorting. Filter out the spammers and fraudsters trying to use your service by setting limits on the number of tracking pixels that are able to lead to one email address, originating IP address, and block IPs that try to create pixels which lead to blacklisted IPs. Finally, improve your privacy policy! For a product that incurs certain liability, make it 3x longer for boosting consumer confidence in your service. I'll adjust my rating and also pay for your service if you can provide a reply to my earlier question.

Good, but the reply can't be tracked. and need some more improvements.

It used to work wonders. I had recommended this to most of my friends and colleagues. However it seems to have stopped working these few months on Yahoo Mail, not sure what the problem is. I've tried everything, from refreshing the page to removing and reinstalling the extension. Really disappointing. I've remove the extension for good! I would given this a 1-star just for the experience in the past few months alone but I don't think that is a fair rating considering how it used to work so well for me. Hopefully they will resolve the issue as soon as possible.

I have been using this extension for a while now. I had to format my computer recently and I have a habit of saving all my passwords in a word document. Previous times I always typed the passwords manually in my phone and then format the computer. This time I got a little lazy and mailed the password file from one gmail account to another and also thought of it to be a check for privacy (my reason to justify my laziness). Unfortunately the passwords leaked. My two gmail accounts were accessed and twitter account was accessed too with inappropriate things being tweeted. I am not sure which part to blame for the leak. Its either Google or this extension. Though Google has a big company reputation, I would still like to give this extension benefit of the doubt and not claim this to be a source of leak but just wanted to put the information out there about what happened.

A very useful extension!

Very good and works great with outlook. The importance of an email tracker is to see if a specific person has read your email and it does that perfectly. The BCC campaigns who cares who reads it because it is not a direct email, the direct emails are whats important 10/10.

This email tracker seems to work fine, ocationally not working, but better than most other free email trackers. Used it for a long time.

If reader is using an iphone, it will not give me a confirmation that they have read it.
