This is a awesome app to use! i cant believe how it tells me instantly what sites are safe and not!

It's good if you want to avoid viruses/scams/others on websites - 1 star for having to pay but I recommend this and trend micro check.

It has a little check in the web searches after you search something to makes sure its a good site! I absolutely love this and makes sure I am 100% safe!

i just got this extension due to having a virus so i will rate it later.

Works great for the first few days after installing, other than the annoying popups that inform you of how many trackers and what not have been blocked, but other than that it's good for the first little bit. Afterwards it disables all blocking and protection that it had once previously offered and insists that you buy premium to continue using the extension. Yes, it's cheap, but being a minor who cannot pay for her own products and things online, I simply decided that I would remove the extension to get rid of the premium popups. Instead of peace I am continuing to get more and more frequent popups for their premium offers and telling me that it was diabled. When I got the first one I thought nothing of it and x'd out, little did I know that I would need to be doing this every 10 second when a new ad would show up. Incredibly annoying and still not sure how they're able to project ads and sponsors onto my screen after the extension had been fully removed but that doesn't seem quite right or fair either. Screw right off webshield. I had to reinstall it just to write this reveiw, so please be aware of how god awful annoying this extension can be.

I haven't been using this long. It has stopped me from going to a couple questionable sites but then a site was blocked by another app but approved by this one. So...I am going to use it a bit longer and see what my end thoughts are.

It is amazing i had a virus that kept popping up i was deseperate to get it out i do not own a credit card but this has a free mode i love this so much it god rid of the pop ups in seconds ty for this wonderful app i recommend it.

I cannot find out how to do scans, I read it. but when I try to find the icon I dont know where it is. this apps is confusing, no help available. Do you have a chat room

I had this extention on my Browser for less than 24 hours before trashing it. This thing will Slap you in the face every 3 seconds with pop up ads screaming, "BUY OUR PREMIUM". It's like a digital homeless man following you around pestering you for money. Bug off, Total Webshield. Get a real job.

This is irritating. One is constantly told how many things have been blocked. I don't need to know that so many of this and so many of that have been blocked. Your job is to block it. Not waste my time and space by telling me. The program also slowed my Chrome book down quite a lot. Luckily if I want some peace I just go over to my laptop. They did offer to included that in the program.Not B likely.

The software is just fine. The company is not. If you decide you do not want to renew and to let it lapse, they become very invasive and annoying. Popups of every kind keep appearing. Relentlessly. At one point, they completely took over my Chrome app and flooded it with new tabs opening to their "offer". I tried to uninstall their app. This is easier planned than done. It appears it just goes into hiding. The guerrilla spamming continued. Like Hotel California, You can check out but you can never leave. I have had no complaints about the last years performance. But you sell out your Chromebook.

Very helpful extension but please kindly update it more frequently & also improve the detection rates & blocking capabilities of all kinds of malicious websites, phising websites, dangerous new unknown links on all browsers

I'm new here and am also amazed at how many "blocked" items occurred over a very short period of time on the site. For curiosity's sake, is there any way to see the actually blocked sites? Thanks so much. David.

i downloaded it and right away it went to work on this Chromebook I'm very happy

its worse it protected me but when i left my laptop for a very long time its turns off safe browsing filter and now forcing me to buy their premium its not reccomended please use clario secure browsing or any other that is best for your computer/laptop is reccomended please avoid this they are money hungry or greedy

Managed to accidentally download a virus, this saved my computer. You honestly don't know how thankful I am.

so far, thumbs up. havent had any issues which is great because before i found this app i had a hard time finding one compatible with my chrome book up til i discovered this one .

First thing it did was block me from my banking website. Next it held me up to get into my Yahoo mail. Appears to be incompatible with g-mail as it dissected my inbox. Cant find ANY of the emails that it said it sent. had to disable it's functions to conveniently navigate back here to leave this warning before I uninstall this nightmare. Don't know what's on my PC that it's conflicting with but it's obviously going to cause me nothing but excessive grief!! Bye Bye Total WebShield...

I have not had this very long, a week maybe, but it seems to be stopping quite a few pop-ups. Not all but more than the other adblockers in unison were stopping. So far I am pleased. If I continue to be satisfied I might go for a premium version.

Do not get unless you like pop ups, and the web extension says. it "protects you" but I went on some pretty sketchy websites and it said they were safe. Just do not get it.

This is adware at best, malware at worst, I'm not keeping it installed to find out. Not even sure how my mother found it. All it's done so far is pop-up ads warning her about her PC being insecure or a dark web scan showing concerning results, both of which are likely based on nothing and designed to push her to pay for their services. I've reported this to Google. Do not install this. If you're on Windows, you already have security software that is surely superior to this, in that it functions immediately and doesn't spam you for a subscription. If that isn't enough, look into security software with an actual reputation, not some Chrome adware/malware plugin.

Slows you computer way down....stops teh loading of pages until it has checked them all... then they ask for money for upgrade... if upgrade does the same as the free one it will never happen for me.

Total web shield is ok. I can't my banking site without turning it off. that's why it gets 4 stars. I have it on my phone. continuing getting spam calls.

This extension is very good. It tells me whether there are any malicious sites. I think that the adblocker could be better. It blocks some ads; not all. Other than that, it is a perfect Anti-Virus web protection! I would definitely recommend this to all of my friends and family!
