I love this, as a web developer it is the perfect tool for marking up changes, bugs, issues and to-do items for a project. I would love a way to 'communicate' with it from a web page... I often develop single page websites where the URL does not change. Thus a way to send a "page" id via a meta tag or something.

Great extension, it takes notes exactly how I wanted, which is simple individual notes on the actual page not on the toolbar button, with no bloat. But the note overview section could use some improvement, because it only shows the URL and you have to load the URL to see the notes. When the page is no longer available or replaced with a redirect to another page, it then becomes impossible to see the notes.

Best one of all stickies I tried, It gets my not-easy-to-satisfy approval. Simple, sync option, and not bloated or distracting.. could use some visual polishing though ;)

works on everything but my chrome home page. And also is irritating to change the sizing of the note, anytime I move my mouse it automatically changes size too.

When typing the "blank key," the page goes down, rather than a blank in the note. And when typing the "down arrow key," the page also goes down, rather than moving the cursor to the other letter.... Anyone has the same problem? How do I fix it?

Great post-it app, best one I've found. Only problem - I can't type inside the post-it notes if the webpage I'm on has keyboard shortcuts. If I type the letter 'n' while in a post-it note on Wordpress, for example, it opens up the Wordpress notifications (rather than typing an 'n'). Very annoying problem

Not only is this an amazing web page note taking tool, but the developer is also building a tool called beta.myatoms.io that is integrated with some third party services for consolidation of notes across them all. Check it out for sure, had to make a review after I came across it.

Simple, easy, minimal... Whats missing to be the most super awesome note extension is for the note to understand where on the page it was added on the X axis in relation to whats on screen... for example, if my screen is 4000px wide and browser is fullscreen, the web page layout is 1000px wide and centered in the browser, when I add a note to the middle of the page and then make my browser window 1500px wide, the note is now located outside of the viewport to the right of the page layout. For those with issues adding note, make sure to refresh the page after installing the extension.

Does what is needed without complications. Takes notes on a website, sync between devices, super simple account creation process. No suspicions permissions needed. No fancy over-complicated features. Just what is needed. Great integrations available. Thank you for this extension.

it works.. but only on some websites. i can't use it on most websites, and its kinda frustrating. it might just be me, but if i try to add a note, it won't do anything, no matter how many times i click.

This app hardly works. It used to be great, but it's gotten terrible. I know it's free.. When I clck to add Notes, a big note appears with four options. Add new note on this page, Add Note. Show Notes When I click to add a note, nothing happens. The more i click to add notes the more NOTHING HAPPENS. It would be nice go back a couple versions. I hiop you're able to make it good again. Thank you for the best Notes app out thee.

great tool to help make notes. would love support of markdown, and work with youtube (right now clicking space in the note stops the video - so using picture-in-picture as workaround).

It seems like on some sites, like questrade.com for example, notes do not reappear when logging in to the site again. They do however show up if I select them from the "note anywhere" settings, and reload a new page that way.. which is not too helpful..

Abandoned Doesn't work anymore

Great App ... Suggestions: Have the notes have a "Retention Date" so they are deleted after a certain Date/Time. I put notes on Auction pages and after the auction page is done, I would like them to just disappear. The summary could show the note text when hovered over the link. Checkbox next to them to delete a group easily.

Unfortunately, Notes are not visible on some pages. Not sure of the reason why. If possible, please implement and option to remove and edit notes from the option panel. That way they can be removed even not visible on the page.

An option to set the notes to a fixed position so they can be viewed no matter how much the page is scrolled down, would be neat. Perhaps it could be represented by a pin button? Anyway, this is still a pretty useful extension for me! Good work!

The web link updates if you move the note around the screen. So if i am in gmail my note will stay all the time but if i click "compose new email" the URL changes, but the page/tab does not refresh. If i need to move the note out of my way it will then update the note to the compose email URL. when i go back to the main gmail page the note is gone. Not good

When note is made on one sub-page of a domain (xxxx.com/adb/def) it shows on all pages of that domain. (xxxx.com)

Also when i make shopping to long pages i can put lot tabs in one page and them scroll the page up and down with tabs. God bless you Evangelos

I cant make notes anywhere its broken

Just Want To say this is a great extension. I just noticed whats coming up in the next update. Just what i was going to say If you could resize the note on the page, change all colors, fonts and should add a check box if wanting to bring the notepad to the next tab or save it to the notepad bulletin board, like the cloud to transfer everything and sync to your google would be cool(if possible) would like to have a main exe file that opens, and then you can create categories, and place the notes under different categories. I like it but for some reason I can't use the space or n keys. I can use them on websites and everywhere else except in the sticky notes? A little weird! Resizing would also be super useful!

I really like this extension however I wanted to use it for making bookmarks or something like that in pages that are very long such as essays But there is no way (that i've found so far) to see where my notes are or a shortcut to get to them If you did that I'd give it five stars easily

Boys and girls, this was a good concept but I think the de left town. No changes to app for 6+ yrs. I sometimes do research and need to put a note on page and print the page but when i copied the URL it didn't do word wrap so when i printed not all data was on the note. Needs to be resizable at the very least plus word wap.Trying Beanote extension, hope works better.

Love this handy extension! I use it to make notes on recipe pages for future reference. I'm about to move to a new laptop and cannot find info about exporting these notes. I don't have too many, so I wouldn't mind doing them one by one. Any tips for doing this quickly??

Refuses to take focus so cant write anything in it

It used to work perfectly. I have not been able to make any spaces for some time and it is very slow to respond, sometimes not 'typing' a letter. Word wrap also does not work. Is this going to be fixed?

Hey, great little app. It would be nice to be able to size the window! Also noticed that on sites like news the note gets lost if the page is updated. Any way to delete an old note that no longer exists on a page?

Lies, feet stink, and don't love Jesus. It will not write a note anywhere, on any page, without consequences. Created an artifact on Google Maps print that covered part of the map image. Not worth the hassle.

Seems nothing has changed in several years. Last update was back in 2015. Unless I'm wrong seems like developer could no longer continue evolving this product. Sign of the times and Google isn't getting any better, especially last few years. FOLLOW UP QUESTION: Tried to use app while watching YouTube tutorial, unrelated. I would stop the video, go to note and when I start typing only thing that happens is the video resumes and no way to add text to the note. Again, larger size would help but the first issue needs resolution first. What are chances of getting this fixed?

I love the simplicity of this extension. I have trouble though when making notes on a page that has anchors in it. If I use an anchor to jump down the page, the plugin thinks I'm on a new page and appends the notes to that url string e.g. www.website.com/features vs. www.website.com/features#new. When this happens I can't see my notes for the page as a whole, but only as two separate pages.

I have now tried 7 different "note" extensions and this one is the one that does specifically what I needed, to pin the note to a specific URL to where as soon as I open my bookmark the note pops up... I TRULY appreciate this! Plus you seem to be the only extension that allows multiple stickys at the same time for a URL. The reason for 4 stars and not 5... Please consider these enhancements: 1. Being able to change the note size... it is a wonky rectangle that is not aesthetically pleasing to my OCD nature... honestly, it is the ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars 2. customization features like note color or cool background and different fonts/font size... this isn't a huge deal but I thought why not throw it out there as well :) Out of the 7 extensions, this one is the only one I kept... Thanks!

I have no idea how to make a note. Youtube and google block it but messenger doesnt but even whn im on a site that doesnt block it I cant figure out how to make a note! I was going to use this for school but I have no idea how to work it

very good, polished, simple extension that could benefit GREATLY from just some minor features/improvements. In Options-Settings, you can add opacity to the hex code to change (RRGGBB) to (RRGGBBAA), and it works for the one item if you immediately press 'Save' (and previews fine), but resets when you change anything else - if it could just be enabled, that would be wonderfully useful! Short of that, I second the enhancement request to allow the notes to be 'minimized' to a square or icon, possibly with an option to expand notes on mouseover, either as standard procedure or as an option in 'Settings'. I just installed the extension, and have not yet used it. But the reason I'm giving this extension three stars right from the start is because the overview, describes the extension and then provides useful directions and tips on how to best use it. I frequently look for all sorts of extensions and apps because I'm a Chromebook user, and many others barely provide any instruction on what to expect, how to use or give any tips. So, thank you for creating this extension, and for the plain language in which it is presented.

You have to refresh the page for it to work at first, but all in all works fine! It's exactly what I needed to keep track of character/destination names while I write in google docs.

Very very useful extension. I love it. But couldn't change the font and size at the same time. Couldnt resize it. Hence it overlaps with my other notes. Awaiting an updated version.

It's very simple to use and I love how it even stays in the position that I placed it in. However, it's weird that I can't type the letter N. Possible improvement: Dragging the corner to increase and decrease the size so I don't have to scroll on the notes. Thank you for your great work. :)

Pro: Adds a note on any page in the web, and the notes stay there Good performance and no lags Cons: No way to toggle all notes on a page on/off I thought the x was a close button. "Closed" 3. Then realized all got deleted permanently!!!

Very cool concept and very useful as well! You can change tabs and the note will stay on the same webpage. You can easily delete and add notes with a click of a button. However, be careful not to accidentally delete a note containing important information, as it cannot be saved if it is deleted.

This has really great potential and I'm glad I spent the time to find it. The notes are delightfully configurable as far as color and font so you have a choice as to how out front you want them to be. EDIT: I was fairly happy with this but in the last month or two notes sometimes seem to disappear from the screen(s) I attached them to. AND more seriously, I can't find a way to watch a YouTube video and take notes. As soon as I begin to type the note, the video thinks I've issued a command. Or, the video goes on and the note won't accept typing. As a result I've now removed another star.

It's easy and simple to use, but I would prefer the ability to change not only the font, text size and note colour, but also the size of the actual note - some of the notes I have to make are longer than the actual note size on the page, and scrolling down in the note is annoying. I would also like to be able to delete notes from the options page where it lists the sites on which there are notes. Sometimes notes can be made on sites that end up disappearing, and there is no way of deleting the notes.

So far working well, only 4 starts out of 5 as some key features are not yet available: - resize note size, - export notes - and sync notes on other computers through google ID. Edit font/style for single words rather than for all notes at the same time would be a great nice to have, but not essential. Looking forward to next version providing these features.

I love this extension, it's exactly what I was looking for and is SO helpful when working on schoolwork. I've tried other note taking extensions and this one is the only one that does what I was looking for -- I especially like that the notes reload when you open up the page again! :)

Thank you for the extension. Is there any way that I can export my notes? I have changed my PC and in my Chrome on the new PC the notes do not show up. Do I have to manually create all the notes that I had in my previous PC?

Works as I expected!

Fast app and simple, but you cannot collapse notes, hide the notes, or resize the notes. Additionally, this extension lacks features that I have come to expect webpage annotation extensions to have: the ability to highlight text on the page, and possibly underline text.

If possible please add the resize option on the extension.

Yea it didn't work at first but after refreshing the page it worked as it should ...

Not working. This worked fine in November and I liked it, but now when I try to type a note in it it types in the Yahoo search bar. The only way that I can get a note in it is with copy and paste. No good for me.

I wrote a note. Several actually on a note. Went to another page I was researching. The note disappeared! Not what I need at all. I need the note to follow me around and scroll down the page as Im researching.

Very handy utility to have, especially for all the research I do on our knowledge base. Is there a way where i can list out all my notes from different pages in one single location and be able to visit to the web page from a particular note, as against visiting to web page first to look at the notes added ?

Great extension! but, it stopped working on Chrome 74 on macOS (Mojave), I can no longer delete text nor notes...

I had to go ahead and uninstall this (reinstalled just to leave the following review) because it lags a great deal when I tap the extension, nothing happens for several seconds, then when the note pops up, the words I am typing into the note are delayed as well, and believe me, I type very slowly, only about 25 wpm, so this is the reason for my low rating and not-so-good review. Perhaps it is my Chromebook, I highly doubt it though because I have been using the extension "Beanote" without issues and no other extensions are lagging this way. Another thing is that most times I get a message something to the effect that Google restricts access of this plugin.

I had really been looking for something like this to order my online research a bit better, but while this extension works perfectly fine for all other pages, it does not work on pages for scientific research. Maybe because the app isn't allowed to access web pages like that? Regardless, while the app does have its limits, it is not bad. It can help give you a nice overview on many pages and is easy to use.

Could you add a function to sync with Chrome Account? Otherwise it's not as convenient if this note cannot be synced across devices.

Mainly it's OK. But it doesn't give me options as to change its shape and color. Also, cannot change the size of the fonts and cannot place my cursor anywhere to correct words for example. Very static for my liking. When others do much better.

its ok, everything looks good but when i get it i click it and nothing happens.. i even reset the page, still dosent do anything. i recomend getting a different sticky note app because this one clearly dosent work.
