Works as intended. Ignore the dummies in the comments, this is not a VPN, it doesn't hide your IP.

I love this extension. Works fantastic. However, during the last couple of weeks it doesn't remain turned on as it used to do. Sometimes it is turned off when I open the browser, and other times it turns off itself while using the browser. Can anyone give me some advice please?

Heck, so much brainleaks on the comments :P So to clarify: This extension does prevent any local/public IP leak THROUGH WebRTC (a protocol implemented on most current browsers for realtime communication), which can be abused to fetch your public and even local IP (local part mitigated in most browsers through obfuscation possibility) - no matter if youre behind a proxy, using a VPN or whatever. Such an extension cannot automagically change your regular gateway's Ipv4/Ipv6 unless the extension itself would be a proxy/vpn client. It's meant to plug that one loophole, where not even anonymizers can protect you from. The extension on its own doesnt protect your privacy, if youre not using any anonymizer (changing your public Ip address)

works great! YOU DO NEED A VPN FOR THIS TO WORK (recommend set up vpn)it changes your IP address so they cant track you. keep up the good work!

Even with a vpn on and this extension on, some sites can still read my IP. Also it recently asked for access to my mic and camera! That may or may not be legit but it's not explained anywhere. And it didn't used to do that. Works sometimes - is invasive (mic and camera) without explanation

Worked as mentioned. Perfect. People who have problem with this extension - THIS IS NOT A VPN. You NEED a VPN along with this extension to hide your IP completely.

THIS IS A SCAM I'm not gonna say anything more and just quote their Privacy Policy WORD TO WORD : "When you register with us, you provide us information about yourself – your name, email address, contact number and **password** etc. If you correspond with us by e-mail, we may retain the content of your e-mail messages, your e-mail address, and our responses. Additionally, we store information about users` contacts when users manually enter contact e-mail addresses or transfer contact information from other online social networks. We also collect general information about your use of our services." Word of advice, don't install this unless you'd want to be spied upon, instead go sell it on ebay, you'd also get paid for it.

This shield really works well. Please just get some minimum skills about VPN, WebRTC to know what are you using and how it works.

Helpul in securing my IP

My school band some games that i really wanted to play. So i tried lots of vpn's and none of them worked. Till i found this Vpn and to my surprise it worked and its free.

u need to download hoxx vpn for it to work

Works perfectly fine, but needs to be tested together with a VPN turned on. And when running leak test, when a little window pop-ups asking permission to access mic and camera, simply say no, and the test will continue, no problem.

It works great, after getting it. There are several sites to test it on.

It hides our iP from 3rd parties. For all who think they can self test on your own machine think again. Try, logging in on a different machine on the same network to test if it works or not.

This App Is Completely Useless! It Does NOT WORK! I Have Had It On, There Is An App In The Webstore Called My IP Address, When I Click On That App With Webrtc Leak Shield On, My IP Address Is Still Shown! Completely Useless Don't Waste Your Time With This App!

WebRTC leak prevention does not work on Windows desktop versions of Google Chrome.
