Why cant we just copy and paste text in ChatGPT why to use merlin for that and Merlin has only 15 Prompts per day ? It is better to use ChatGPT which is free

I'd like to know what's the "words limitation" of the Elite package. For example if I need an answer of about 10,000 words, is the program under this package capable of that?

i was enjoying it SO MUCH but then u said "15 uses per day." and me: "gonna write a review then uninstall". like is this a joke?! are you kidding us?! everyone would instead use chatGPT free, forever in https://chat.openai.com/chat no one would use THIS.

1. To require mandatory a Google account connection, is a NO GO :( 2. You do NOT have a generous free plan with limit on daily use (on number of "queries" rather than number of "words" as in the description is written: - Yes there is limit of 3500 characters in English words (for other languages the limits would be lesser). 3. Uninstalling immediately ! 4. It's much much better to use ChatGPT directly, without any intermediate money maker who just wish to profit of their great job .... 5. It's much better to have a proper plan before start actioning

It was great until they started abruptly charging money for it. They also now require Google oauth account connection, which I'm not comfortable with. Uninstalling, and I would suggest you do the same.

Very PogU extension

Easy to use ChatGPT extension, and really helps with a lot of work. One irritating issue is that the default Chrome shortcut for Find Next (Cmd + G) now pops a window saying "Cmd+G is now Cmd+M (or Ctrl on Windows)". I don't understand why it is needed, and it should definitely include a "don't show this again" flag.

it works! hope it stays that way! Update - 24 January 2023: Farewell my beloved Merlin.. you shall be dearly missed .. All good things come to an end, and so with this great extension. With the latest update, it joined the ranks of the plethora of ChatGPT chrome extensions that require an active OpenAI account, which cannot be obtained for non-US residents since you need a US phone number. PS: don't bother with VoIP numbers (as with the free online services), you need a US carrier number. No grudges toward the devs.. I understand the efforts and limitations, and truly wish you the best.

It doesn't work. It keeps saying "Your ChatGPT Session has expired. Login Again" even if I try to re-login to ChatGPT.

Works fine. A constant login is irritating but I know there is no way to change it.

Man you don't know how much you made my life easier, I always gets the answer i need even if chatGPT is having high traffic, It helps me a lot during my work instead of searching google for hours and hours for a solution i get it just by one click, Really appreciate this man.

Version 6.2.0: Connect your own chatGPT userid to Merlin. This is unquestionably a downward trend. Its inherent limitation is that it cannot adequately handle a plethora of simple and convoluted prompts, and now another more agonizing one appears.:) See you again, Merlin.

This AI claims that it is capable of lying, and indeed it is, because it's making illogical conclusions very often.

I was hoping to use it as a quick tldr generator, but 90% of the time it states my prompt or context is too long. If I copy the article in ChatGPT myself, it can perfectly create a summary though.

Hi Merlin team, thanks so much for making this tool. It's wonderful. But one question, on the google search result page, whenever I click "search" to ask Merlin, it always comes these words "Please don't call our API directly or from localhost!" How to fix this? Thanks!

Merlin is an easy to use extension on all my favourite websites. With just a single click Merlin makes my online activities much easier and more efficient.

The UI looks nice, but it says the server has too many requests right now for hours.

Nice extension

I'm extremely pleased with the merlin results. The product was easy to use and had a great user interface. It made my repetitive work smoother and more efficient. I was able to get more done in less time. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to increase their productivity.

Great UX. Need to sort the keyboard shortcut. A. using it for any rewriting tasks I come across. Would love to have extra limits and less server issues for a small premium.

its pretty nice, although not the chatgpt, but it does do some stuff well, although i dislike they way it has to be summoned. the think i like most about it i told it to do " make me (kjsfnjhbfbjs) <--- replace that with degenerate things, and it told me NO No i will not do this. now ik its pretty safe, great job

Some updates need to be reviewed. I liked the overall concept.

Public Service Announcement: This extension is misleading, it doesn't use ChatGPT... It uses OpenAI's much less advanced GPT 3, which came out back in May 2020. (Notice how it never asks you to login to ChatGPT, and if you go to the ChatGPT official site, your conversations from Merlin aren't there. Also, notice how you can't continue conversations with follow up.) My guess is the developers of this app are using the hype of ChatGPT to boost this extension's popularity, but in reality, it is not using OpenAI's most advanced AI (ChatGPT). I will admit, this extension is pretty good at giving quick help via a popup window, but if you really want the level of intelligence that ChatGPT offers as well as the ability to follow up on your questions, check out ChromeGPT, which is another extension similar to this, except it actually uses ChatGPT rather than the far less advanced GPT 3.

It works fine. The only significant fault is wierd CPU overload after using it at certain page. After page is closed, CPU usage disappear. Please, fix it and let me know. MBP late 2013

It's great but do you have any option to hide the tooltip when I highlight somethings. It is quite annoying for me because I have a habit highlight thing when I read but the tooltip pop-up made me hard to focus. Many thks!!! Great product keep it up guyss !!!

Looks good. Only the concern I have is slow loading time for some queries. Overall I loved this one. Hope ChatGPT end the rule of search engine monopoly. :p
