What’s new in version 1.0.5?

Are you a cable news junkie? Frustrated with the low density of information and exorbitant amount of commercials? This extension automatically plays videos on Google News, creating an experience similar to, but better than traditional cable TV news.

To use this extension, simply add it to Chrome, then navigate to news.google.com. Press the "Stop" button at any time to disable the autoplay feature.

The idea is you can leave it running in the background or on a different screen, and it will just start playing new videos as they come online. It is stateful and remembers what news items and videos you have seen. It avoids showing the same video twice, and prefers showing news subjects which haven't been shown yet.

Another nifty thing about this is it fully reflects the way you have google news set up. If you don't want any sports videos coming through, you just remove it from your normal google news page. It should also roughly mirror the frequency settings and custom topics.

Rough edges exist, and will be smoothed out in time.
