It Stopped Working says "Failed to get tweet information" pls fix it
This extension was amazing in the past but now in March 2023 it stopped working. It says " Failed to get tweet information" in every video

Just find a problem, some videos actually cannot be downloaded even if being listed on the media log
I was worried that the extension will not work after the Twitter API change, but thankfully it works.
You make life easier

if a post has multiple videos, it only downloads the first video.
Worked two times, then the media/like buttons stopped working. Had to uninstall and reinstall. Then it stopped keeping track of the options. And then default and operations don't work. The whole extension isn't working as intended for me. 2回機能しましたが、メディア/いいねボタンが機能しなくなりました。アンインストールして再インストールする必要がありました。その後、オプションの追跡を停止しました。そして、デフォルトと操作は機能しません。拡張機能全体が意図したとおりに機能していません。
worked perfectly and fast
Currently it works on likes and media from a twitter profile but bookmarks seem to be having issues.
Now Twitter users can add at least one video together with two to four photos, I don't know does this extension support to download the video together with photo?
Why does this create a zip file to download a single image?
it's not supported with mixed media tweet including videos/gifs (latest function of oct/2022) except that it's amazing extension!
Something's wrong. Are they are actually REWRITING AND/OR DELETING POSTS that i have downloaded previously?? Like a DAY AFTER THE PERMISSION CHANGED. I was able to download some files from twitter before the update. A couple days after the update, I searched the twitter accounts back up to check if I missed anything and THE TWEETS with the MEDIA ARE GONE. No the account did not delete the tweet. They're tweets from March, and it's from MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS. How is it possible that MULTIPLE accounts loses a couple MEDIA POSTS AFTER the update??? Maybe the extension didn't delete the post, but possibly HIDING THE POST FROM VIEW, as some sort of test for future CENSORSHIP ONLINE??
i can't download all my bookmarked tweets at once
I love this extension however I don't think it's exactly what I intended. So when I'm downloading media it's more accurate of what I want to download for example if I have a bunch of media on a twitter profile I wanna dowload I either can click download and it will down all the media starting from top to bottom OR I can do ranges and for example, download all videos on this persons media tab (on twitter) from September 3rd, 2022 to October 5th, 2022 and It does that but when it comes to retweets its not accurate. My twitter account got disabled after being compromised and I want to download all my videos but I can't access media, likes or bookmarks, only my tweets and replies. So okay so my issue is I want it to download all my retweets under videos and gifs from May 17th, 2022 all the way to November 8th, 2021 but it's not downloading it in the correct order and it's frustating..
I have two browsers one of which is Edge and it stopped working on that completely and operates only on Chrome which im not much of a fan of... Wish they would have just left everything as it was but now it needs the latest browser which is bizarre for such a silly extension.
9/30 update: Leaving my original review below, but updating it to mention this info from the developer: With version 1.5.4, the permissions were updated and it's much more straightforward: https://twitter.com/furyutei/status/1575695905558183938 "Note that since then (version 0.1.5.4), these permissions are no longer needed (because the declarativeNetRequest* is no longer needed after reviewing legacy processes)." ___ Excellent extension with one huge bummer: The permissions changed recently, and sound scary. Looks like the change was intentional, according to the developer. In order to achieve the original functionality (rewriting part of the HTTP Request Header under certain conditions), it is necessary to enable "declarativeNetRequest" in Manifest V3. Those permissions are automatically required to do so." Checking the extension's source code is a great way to see what it may be doing. Personally, It doesn't appear this extension is doing anything malicious for the moment, but no matter the extension, you should be concerned when permissions are given that can potentially allow an extension access to your history/data, especially if that extension has no business accessing the data in the first place.

Yet another edit: The dev has done a review and figured out that the new permissions aren't required anymore after some changes. Should be back to normal without needing scary permissions anymore https://twitter.com/furyutei/status/1575695905558183938 Great extension that works well, but the permissions can be a little daunting. They recently changed to require browsing history and the ability to block content on any page, which is a bigger ask than before. According to the developer this is necessary to maintain functionality while updating the extension to manifest V3. I don't have the knowledge to confirm how accurate that is, but the dev has been honest and communicative, and the source code is on github, so at the moment I feel that there is nothing malicious. Certainly no keylogging as some other reviewers have decided is happening. You can (as of today, Sept 28th 2022) ignore the reviews about new permissions from the past day. The dev did an update that broke things, and after an update it no longer requests the ridiculous extra permissions. I include today's date in that just in case things change and it does become malicious some time in the future. Addendum: As of Sept 29th, those permissions are again a requirement. It turns out that an update had still broken things, but the permissions were not one of them. Worth being wary of but still seems safe.
It was ok,but maybe more evil now. I think I shoud use some normal websit to download something I need. too much extensions will break the safty environment.
Read my browsing history? Block content on any page? Collect my emails, texts, or chat messages, keylogging, network monitoring, mouse clicks and position?! In what reality does anyone imagine that is okay?! Extension was great until it became a trojan.

I've been using this plugin for quite a while now, and have been absolutely loving it. But with the new version that requires access to my browsing history I'm deactivating it. I do hope the developer(s) change this permissions issue so I can go back to using this otherwise excellent plugin.
Was okay, then they decided to add intrusive permissions like reading browser history. You don't need that, no thanks. Bye.

It worked great, then after an update it demanded permissions to view my entire browser history and modify content on any page. There is no conceivable reason for it to need these permissions, so it must be some sort of scam.
Good job ruining and breaking a great (and working) addon.

Great, powerful extension (using Brave), does exactly what it says. For those lost on how to use it on Desktop. Just go to the Timeline of the user, there should be a two buttons at the top of the time line in the webpage itself, "Media" and "Likes", click on either one of those to get the download options. The pop up window is just for configuration/settings imo. For the date format, run a "dry run" task option for a few entries and stop it, then just copy-past the date format from there.

Does not work as intended anymore. You can download only one post from someone's page and then for other posts it just stops working.

Can download and scrape images and video from Twitter with a single button, Bonus, by default the file names include the twitter handle and post number. Which is very useful when download work from artists on twitter.

the bulk download doesn't work on chrome in mobile but I'm still satisfied (I'm just lazy to open my computer and do the bulk download there. lol). This is just the exact thing that I need to download all my fave artist's work. thank you developers~

Love this. Needed something easy to archive stuff from a public twitter account that's likely going to be deleted once service ends, and this extension seemed to grab all media back until the twitter account's release date. I just need to find a way to archive the tweets past the 3200 recent tweet limit now! Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful extension!

Highly efficient. Can choose to get media from specific period of dates too. All images in original quality as if you open it in a new tab. High quantity in one batch too which is a plus so u dont have to do it multiple times. Pin the app for easier use.

Worked great! Refresh the screen and look UNDER the video to the right of the "like" heart - and you'll see the little *mp4 download option with an arrow pointing download.

I managed to get it working by adding "Old Twitter" on Greasemonkey. It doesn't download all of the files however.

Used to work amazingly, but now sometimes it will not pick up older tweets. It will say "complete," but I know this is not true because if I keep retrying it will pick them up.

It was working last week but it's not working anymore.
Great extension, out of the way but easy to use when you need it. It has very fast updates, when twitter changed and broke it, it was fixed within the day. All negative reviews are from within an hour or two after it broke.
I had fun with this. this was the greatest video downloader of all time... but now it doesnt work anymore!

I'm giving it 4 stars because it was great while it worked, as off around 10 minutes ago, it still shows as installed but the download button is no longer there.

Works really well. Docked a star because of the ugly serif font used in the extension. No need to use a custom font. Just use the font Twitter uses. It would look a hundred times better.
