Broken, "Cannot load variable", worthless.
Did not work for me. My goal was to download all photos I'm tagged in - I eventually found the extension 'Tagged Photo Exporter for Facebook' (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tagged-photo-exporter-for/cicalpgkgmacgnbnnkhdgpnicipnihgo) which did work great for this.
Not working anymore, better remove it from the store if the developer won't to update it.

Earlier, it worked perfectly. Nowadays, it breaks instagram - the content does not load, pages are inaccessible.
Used to work well but doesn't work at all now. Should just remove from Google Play store and save folks time.
Upon installation, it will log you out and you won't be able to log back in unless you remove the extension.
This extension breaks your instagram on Windows. It will get stuck on a log-in loop.
since may 2022 this extension stop working on instagram the developers seems dead no reply from them especially that the last update was 2 years ago *July 28, 2020* google should remove this useless extension from the store
if you log out and then load it will work 100% no more Cannot load required variable! error

NOT WORKING
Works perfectly (edit) "new fb layout / interface" broke this extension. Workarounds and "old fb layout" extensions WERE able to get it working for a few months afterwards, but not anymore... not for at least a couple of years.
c'mon guys do something it's been a week and there is no update the extension doesn't work anymore in instagram please fix this please it was really helpful

Does not work for FB. More importantly, the link they give for tutorial on chrome takes you to a site that says they don't trust this addon anymore.

There was a time when this was pretty good. Now, nothing. Interesting that Fakebook's own download album gives an error, and so does this extension (a different error), so there may be a connection.

Busted on Instagram currently. It does not show links for downloading anything except the profile picture. Used to be excellent up until a few weeks ago when it stopped working.
09/18/2021 The app is not working anymore. There are not links to download pictures and videos too. Please fix it. The app is great, but lately Instagram is blocking for pishing the accounts using this app. The app probably must be updated to avoid instagram blocks accounts using this app. Instagram unblocks accounts after the app is removed. The issue is known and discussed on downdetector. Please fix it.

It's work with Weibo, I'm trying to download all of the pictures in Weibo and this extension helps me to do that with just a few clicks and this is only one way took it easiest, note that you need to transfer to the "all" tab on user's page then the extension will work smoothly, on the other hand, it doesn't work with Facebook but you can try other scripts on Github.

Hasn't worked since 2020. Why does Chrome Web Store continue to carry it as a product. It is dead. Either you fix it or drop it from your lineup.

The only app that does what it does (allow me to access instagram images then save to the same directory) but it's causing funky issues with instagram, I'm constantly getting kicked out of my account and being forced to use face recognition to regain access and my account just got locked for 24 hours. I find that I also have issues with viewing the Instagram homepage, stories and messenger when it's active as well. These issues weren't there initially, they've popped up within the last year to 18 months so I'm assuming some behind-the-scenes issue with Instagram.

For those struggling to get PinDown to work I have a workaround using the extension DownThemAll!. 1. Go to the Pinterest board you want to download 2. Click DownThemAll 3. Click "Media" at the top of the window that opens 4. Deselect all file types in "Filters" 5. In "Fast filtering" write the word originals 6. The original images are now selected and marked in pink color. 7. Its good to write something in "Subfolder" because the download goes straight to your Downloads folder. 8. Click "Download"

I've been using this on IG for a few months now, and just recently sometimes when I use it I get a message saying suspicious activity is detected on my account. I've had to restart my password about 5 times in the past week. I'm done with this... I'm not going to restart my password every time I want to download an image.
For a long long time cannot download videos from the official Facebook pages. Example: https://www.facebook.com/pg/Hydromania/videos/ . It has been flagged many times, but still cannot fetch video albums from these pages. Done all troubleshooting possible, to no avail. Update march2021: DOES NOT WORK WITH NEW FACEBOOK INTERFACE.

It worked before Facebook changed the interface they use, now with "New" Facebook, it no longer works and I miss this extension dearly. Obviously not the developers fault that Facebook blocked his app because of their communist ideology. Just the way it goes in this era of non-social networks.
Worked OK for me but there is a drawback - maximum number of images it will download from a single page is 255. You're a bit stuck if there's more images (800+ in my case).
This extension has been so useful but I am having problems on Pinterest with it. It just doesn't move past the DownAlbum popup window and doesn't show any status. Anyone talk with the developer? He has always been active in helping out.

It does work on instagram for downloading pictures, but since 3 days, I couldn't see instagram stories anymore... guess I deactivate it for viewing the stories...
Since FB changed its layout, this apps was becoming useless. However, a few days ago I noticed that when I used business.facebook.com instead of www.facebook.com, the new layout was reverted to the old layout, and hence I can use this apps again to download things I need.
Are you working on a fix for the new FB layout? or we surrender? give us feedback.

IG stories cannot be opened = Failed to Load. when i disable this app, they can be opened.
