Wide screens are awesome, but make some websites, such as Wikipedia, too hard to read. A click on this extension's button will shrink the page to a width of your preference (default is 1000 pixels). Source code is available at https://github.com/tzafrir/Page-Shrinker - I accept pull requests. Changelog: v 1.2.0 * Updated manifest version (should make the extension visible in the store again) * Updated shrinking mechanism - fixes issue with fixed position elements showing in wrong position ex: Wikipedia v 1.1.1 * Added options page, with a live preview of selected page width. v 1.0.2: * Added support for secure (https) hosts v 1.0.1: * Toggles behaviour per tab (click once to set, again to release) v 1.0: * Initial release

Unsure how to rate, couldn't get it to retain it's settings so it will only shrink pages to 1000px. save button doesn't seem to function. But it does very effectively shrink overly wide pages to 1000px.
Tried it in three websites, didn´t work properly in any of them.
