putting the equalizer on full equalization is very useful
This Audio Equalizer addon is a great addition to my laptop. It boosts the volume and tones so much better than what the built in Audio options in my PC can do.
Works well, you can make and save/load multiple presets with custom names(miles ahead of other extensions). However it needs more adjustability +-12db is normally enough but with this EQ on the 64Hz band it's just really not. An easy solution to this would be to have a "2 pass" button like VLC.
works great, and small footprint. But, seems to cause playback problems on LinkedIn. I set it to "This can read and change site data > when you click the extension." That seems to fix the problem, maybe.
really good, with presets and custom sets! very useful to remove excess bass from podcast or radio programs where you need to hear the dialogues clearly. But is really annoying to have to be disabling and enabling the extension because it stops working and you have to enable from the extensions manager again and reload the tab
The user interface is is clear and uncluttered. There are no vu meters or any graphic display of the equalisation. There is no need for them. If used in conjunction with Windows built-in volume mixer, you can view the output that is going to the sound card. This is often referred to as GAIN STAGING - which is a new name for an age old technique of balancing inputs and outputs. 100% is my vote because everything works. If you save a custom sound balance and want to use it again - IT WORKS when retrieving it. I have tested many similar apps that fail to deliver. Would like to see a "Stay on Top" feature, or a "View While in Full Screen" option, because if you are in full screen and want to adjust or tweak your sound balance you have come out of it to access the app. Summary If you want an EQ app that has loads of pretty visual graphics and loads of gizmos (compressors, limiters) - then this app is not for you. If you want an app that does what is says - then its the one for you.

This extension makes it possible to listen to music through my weak and tinny Acer Chromebook speakers. And the presets are customizable! I'm amazed, actually.
Simply the best you will find currently in 2022
This has the same UI as the "Audio EQ for Chrome" extension, it was removed and only available on GitHub. I highly recommend it but This seems to be an Actual equalizer in the same vain as it. Other EQ's arent actually EQ's but some form of bad "modulator". They make a blue thing pop up on the tab, like they're abusing some hidden feature of Chrome instead of directly interacting with the sound. If your system lags, those "EQs" stop/glitch out until the CPU recovers. THIS extension is what you need.
Lite, private, effective. Snap feature helps it stand out, as well as ability to save multiple user profiles.

Such a simple thing, yet so many other "equalizers" simply offer named presets without any information as to what each preset actually boosts or reduces. I was tempted to break out my old Radio Shack unit and make my spaghetti even more complicated. I'm grateful there was another option.

Works pretty good. Restart browser if you have any issues. I can hear a big difference.
Tbh Its's pretty good,i am using Samsung s9+ headphones i already know how to use a equalizer so far this is really good for headphones or a bluetooth speaker depends on the brand tho. Nice work can't give 5 cause you should add more feature in the future.
