Does exactly what it says! How Chrome has such poor image scaling by default I don't know, but this extension mostly fixes it.

Despite it causing fairly small images to appear rather pixelated, this extension does its job very well. Best one I have found that aims to do its goal.

Using this, it seems Chrome will downscale pictures using nearest neighbour scaling. Upscaling seems not to be affected. Interesting extension – thank you!
