DOESN'T WORK. Whenever I click the extension, it just gives me the drop down menu (manage extension, remove from chrome, unpin) not the link to the watch party.

Doesn't work

This app stopped working recently, and I've had no response from the developer. As of last week, whenever anyone in the watch party types in chat, it interprets it as keyboard shortcuts for the video. Whenever someone types a space in chat, the video pauses/unpauses. When someone types an "m" in chat, it mutes. This happens for everyone watching, no matter who starts the party. It's a great extension, I just wish it were still working or that the developer would respond to my email.

This application doesn't work!!! I kept sending links to my cousins and they sent me links but we haven't been able to use it to comment to each other on what we want to watch. All we have been doing is sending links to episodes!

I absolutely adore this extension. It's free (as compared to other D+ Parties that cost $2.99), you can watch with minimal (<1s) to no delay with your friends or S.O. over the Internet. It's an amazing app that is super simple to use. They even can help you over the email if you have issues. Definitely a must have!

I cannot get this to work. My sister sends me the link, I click the extension and there is no join button. We just downloaded it so we have the latest versions. What are we doing wrong?

Excellent! Far Better than the other "DP" extension that rarely, if ever, functions.

Great app for syncing with my friends! Absolutely love it!

It would be immensely helpful if only 1 person's account was able to control the play/pause. We experienced pauses each time someone entered the party. Otherwise, it was great to be able to share together as a group while watching!

This app is easy to use, very similar to the Netflix Party extension. I'm not tech savvy but I was able to get it working with ease during my socially distant movie night. An additional feature I'd like to see is for the party to stay connected in the event that the host leaves the party. Despite that missing feature, I would still highly recommend this for anyone streaming Disney Plus with friends.

It is so buggy! I get kicked out all the time without doing anything. You shouldn't have to get a new link every time someone gets kicked out of the party.

I jus added Dplus party to chrome and when i opened DisneyplusHotstar... icon still stays grey ..even if i play something... please help

It worked occassionally, but mostly did not work. My friend would join, but I couldn't see her messages. We would try refreshing it or resending it and it still would not work. Twice, it seemed to work, but this is a super inconsistent plug-in. Would not recommend.

hello so both me and my friend downloaded the extension onto our computers. whenever she sends me the link and i open it into chrome it tells me to join the party by clicking the join button. Everytime I click it it says "Cannot join session. Please make sure URL is correct and refresh page to try again.". is there any way to help me because i have really wanted to watch disney plus with my friend?

can you help me out me and my girl are trying to use it and she is just stuck on the disey plus screen and csnt see the movie but in the chat she can see me playing and pausing

The "Host" is unable to see the chat room or interact at all due to some poorly laid out site code.

So I wanted to watch a movie with a friend who lives far away. This didn't work. It kept saying "refresh" or "URL is not valid" We both had laptops and downloaded this and how did it not work for us?

During a time such as this the smallest events can make a whole day brighter. When each day, one after the other is a constant stream of the same websites, television shows, songs and walls to stare at, just the smallest kind interaction can make a whole week stand out. DPlus party is by no means a perfect application right now, but I don't think anything is - and the customer service I have received from the creator of DPlus Party has been far better than anything you'd encounter through a bigger application. Not to mention, it is a wonderful tool. To be able to watch something at the same time as somebody else, on different devices, in different countries even, is no small feat, though it may seem small in the time we live where everything technological seems possible. But for somebody to create a program that allows you to do this is a huge achievement and as a film fan whose friend-base is substantially made up of people she doesn't know in real life I can say the value of tools like this cannot be overstated. If you've never used an extension like this before, I can assure you DPlus Party is easy to use and navigate once you get the hang of how it all works - just a simple link and you're joined. If you by any chance have an issue with this extension you will not be ignored or forgotten, you will have your problem fixed quickly and smoothly and you will feel like you're talking to a real person throughout the process. It's easy to forget that behind every website or application is not a robot but a real living person who is trying to create something to the best of their abilities - and in this particular case giving it away for no money at all. So if you do encounter problems with this free application or any like it, take a second to wonder how would you fare at making something like this? Would it be seamless, or would it take some figuring out the nooks and crannies? My bet is on the latter. So reach out and have a little patience. I want to say thank you to the creator for giving my friend and I something to laugh about during quarantine and brightening our day when he helped us with our issues and for even emailing us an update on how he was going to move forward with it weeks after our talk - I didn't expect that second interaction and it was a pure example of great customer service. I don't know about the rest of you but I truly appreciate any small kindness I can get right now.

My friend and I have used this extension a lot over the last month with almost no difficulty. We live in different countries, so the fact that we can watch movies together with very few glitches is a miracle to me. With the few problems we have encountered, Aaron has been very quick to help us in any way he can and we usually get it resolved that day. I expect him to keep working out the bugs for everyone and highly suggest you take advantage of this wonderful FREE service.

This is a great, and free, option to watch Disney Plus shows with others remotely! I have been using this a lot during lockdown. Pausing and replaying the current stream with other users in the party is seamless. The chatroom UI is minimal and fun to use with the emojis. Some improvements I would love to see: - Joining a party through the link should automatically add the user to the chat and notify both the user joining and the whole party. I didn’t know I had to press join on the extension button when clicking on the link. - Persist party after an episode ends, it's hard to binge when we have to start a new party on each episode :( I love this extension since it makes staying connected with friends so much easier through some nostalgic Disney shows. I can't wait to see the improvements!

This doesn't seem to work. I am able to install the extension but it doesn't actually provide a URL to share, which is the point of the extension. Is it possible to get this fixed. If it worked, installing and running it was pretty smooth but it just didn't provide a URL to share.
