So im not sure if this a user error thing or if it just doesnt actually have a volume slider anywhere. But basically its waaaaay too loud, so i want to adjust the volume down and cant. That combined with the fact that the animalese here doesnt sound anything like what im currently getting in game on the switch, nor does it even resemble the orginal animal crossing. So with those combined i dont see how i could possibly leave thiis installed.

It kind of works. However some letters sound a little iffy, notably T, S, X. Some of those could probably be redone if its not how it sounds normally in the game? Its also really wonky to activate, it doesn't just read on all sites it "asks for permission" every time you reload basically, no pop up but you have to click it to allow it to start working. It also would benefit from the bebebese for symbols and such... I really hope this gets updated one way or another though.

guys it works but it was so dam annoying if you want to hear this idoit talk you type google in your google and click the icon and you hear its stupd voice

I loved it but the problem is that it doesnt do it to all keys so pls do it to the numbers as well

This app sucks. Have you ever used one of those human robots that speak with the voice of a person? You know how their speech is bit choppy? Well imagine that but WORSE. Plus you have to rappid click the icon to get in working. Also due to the voices deepness it makes it uncomfortable. 0/20 wouldn't reccomend.

I enabled it. The only sites I tried it on were on google/chrome tab and youtube. It worked on youtube, not on chrome. It didn't sound good, so I uninstalled it. Problem is; the sound was still enabled and I couldn't turn it off even after it was uninstalled.

I was able to get it to work in Google search but it sounded horrible and was really inconsistent

although i do play animal crossing, this app won't work in a billion attempts, even if its not Twitter or Discord

I thought this would be cute and work but I kept on clicking on the icon and typing in google nothing happened- someone please tell me how to get it to work :(

It shouldn't be this hard to activate. Clicked Nook. Once, twice, multiple times. Didn't work.

Finally got it to work by going to google.com but it sounded terrible lol.

I found that some letters does not work, like S, T and V. The other sounds didn't sound like the real deal, at least from my perspective. Other than that it was okay.

I LOVE THISSS, I just hope it works on all keys, I noticed it doesn't work when you hold down on shift or type in uppercase. I love this so much, I wish they could make sounds for all the keys :)))

It wouldn't work on google so i read other reviews/ support questions and tried it on youtube. It did technically work, but it didn't actually sound like how they say the letters, just kinda high pitched really quick mumble.

it sounds NOTHING like the game (sounds like 0.1 seconds of a 14 yr old girl talking) and only works on outube and no typing websites i use. terrible do not buy. someone pls remake it. DOESNT EVEN WORK ON OOGLE

so for me it did not work so i went to youtube and used the search and i clicked tom nook and started typing its cool but kinda weird

So, I got it to work.. But I have a problem with it. It does NOT sound relaxing at all! It's terrifying! I'm assuming it has the voice from Wild World, but it's honestly not a pleasant sound. Loud... AF. I was expecting the voices from New Leaf, because those sound friendly and sweet. This low key sounded demonic. Don't get if you're scared easily.

I like it! At first, i didnt know how it works, but then i learned that you have to push the icon to used it. like for example, everytime you open a new tab you have to click the Tom Nook face.

Unlike what people say, this does not work with the base "new tab" Google with all of my frequently visited sites at the bottom and my cool home theme. You have to go to Google.com in order for it to work. WHY?!?

i got it and it wouldent work i guess this is ok but for me it dosent i tried it i removed it and removed it but stilllll cant hear it :/

I mean it does work, but it's not just something where you can click on it, type in a sentence and hear it say it. Basically if you just go to Google's website and turn your volume up it will speak as you type. That is the only site it works on so far, and it unfortunately doesn't work when typing in a website. I hope this gets an update to have animalese from new horizons or another game, but this is fine for now.

i got it to work but on some sites like discord wont work for me anyways i love animal crossing also it sounds like your writing a letter in animal crossing in my expectations i thought i would be it sounding like a animal was talking in the game i do not mind though.

It LITERALLY DOES NOT WORK.Ive heard the multiple reviews saying 'press the icon and a pop up will say 'Hi!'' but i have tried that SEVERAL THOUSAND TIMES and it straight up does NOT WORK

I'm sure this is an amazing extension, however it's not working for me. I've clicked Mr.Nook tons of times and tested it, and nothing has happened. Does anyone know how to work it? :(

It's pretty fun to have! Only issue is that it doesn't work on new tabs. Other than that, its really good.

I tried to use it multiple times (Removing it then adding it again, visiting multiple websites) But it didnt work for me at all.

I can't figure out how to turn it on. I tried opening a new tab but it still didn't work. My volume is on max volume. Please tell me how to work it.

Works in very few and situational typing areas. The sound is laggy, doesn't keep up and isn't even that great when it works correctly. It'd sound better if it would actually say the letter you typed like in the game or used Animalese right from one of the newer games. Maybe add some voice options.

The first few times I tried it it didn't seem to work but I figured out that you have to click it again after you make a new tab to use it. It's pretty cool but the sounds are a little weird to me, but other than that if you are a animal crossing fan I would highly suggest this product.

I wish you could change the sound of it like animalese to bebebese and maybe the pitch too (it's quite low). Also, the following letters don't make a sound when you type them: f, s, t ,v, x, z. I don't know if this is a canon thing or not but when you type 'test' it'll only make the sound of the 'e'. Great extension otherwise!

Eh, it needs work If you use it on any major monopoly site like YouTube, Google (funny that it's in the picture, when it's now incompatible), Twitter etc, you usually get this error in the console: Unchecked runtime.lastError: This page cannot be scripted due to an ExtensionsSettings policy. But if you find a 2000s looking site with a barebones textbox or something, it does work but you have to click the nook icon prior everytime you want it to "start" capturing. For example, it does work on this review box I'm typing in right now, but I had to click nook beforehand.

It wouldn't work for me, I pressed the tom nook icon on a google chrome tab and started to type, but it would not work.

I downloaded this extension and tried to write on multiple different websites, but nothing would happen. I have a Dell laptop (idk if this has anything to do with why this isn't working for me).

works on pretty much every website I use! can get mildly annoying at times, but its not that big of a downfall.

How do I work it?

I found how to work it, however the process to use it was confusing, and I would like to see a easier way to use it.

This works like a charm! On selected sites (or at least the ones I visit commonly) when I type in search bars or generic text boxes- I can hear the charming nostalgic chitter chatter! It works on Google, Youtube, Deviantart, and some other sites that are compatible. I ADORE it so much! ♥ For those rating it down, be mindful you have to click Nook then visit the site of preference & test it out. Trust me it'll work AT LEAST for Google!

It doesn't do anything. It just has a message that says "Hi!"
