So the extension works, but im trying to buy the subscription and everytime i try to purchase it, it says processing error. But theres nothing wrong with my info. They it said that my account isnt allowed to purchase anything, please help.

good bot, was unhappy when i first bought as there was no way to cancel your subscription and the devs dont respond to emails. But now there is a cancellation method on the site which is great, should of been there from the start though...

I bought a sub, and the payment obviously went through, but none of the extensions work. They still ask for activation. Not sure if this is a scam or not. I also shouldn't be using chess engines :)

Hi I decided to purchase the monthly chess.com subscription and I approved the transaction. I went to chess.com and refreshed it a couple of times and reopened the website; nothing worked. I went back to your website to see if there were any issues with the payment. The $5 button was not greyed out so I clicked on it and the payment went through twice for the same subscription. Why is that even possible? And on top of that, I still can't even use the feature I paid for twice. Could I please have my money back. I came here excited to use your extension; instead this ruined my day. Please do get back to me @dev.

It seems like it would be very useful for learning, so I want to try it out, however it appears that despite my purchase going through for the subscription, I can't use it, and it doesn't seem to show anywhere that I have subscribed except for in the customer portal. The purchase was pending for a short period of time, so I wanted to make sure that it wasn't just waiting on the purchase to be confirmed, but it does certainly remain the same still now despite the purchase finishing. If it could be fixed, I would definitely be grateful for the service, and would rate higher, but it doesn't appear to work. I'd appreciate help.

I loved it! it was really fun to use and actually taught me to play a bit better> But i feel like subscriptions are too much for a chrome extension. Would love if u made it free and I would love to keep using this extension

I bought the extension and it hasn't worked for me yet? Every-time i click on it, it stills says account activation and asks me to purchase it again but when I look at my profile it shows my payment went through

Better than any other chess extension! When my session expires, I sadly won't have any money left. But this doesn't mean you should get it! It is literally better than any other chess engine extension, I think this may be the only working one at the moment.

Absolutely amazing! Only been able to try the free version of it for now since I get paid on the 25th but without a doubt this is very handy!

it works, it wont let me start my subscription and my card wont work, it isint the card (i checked my acc and i used it a few minutes ago) idk

This tool has #1 improved my elo to levels i couldnt believe were imaginable and 2nd has made me a much better chess player because it uses human moves so when my games finish i go back and anylise to understand the moves better, very epic

I have had a few problems with the engine and would like some support. The engine was working just fine for a few hours but then it stopped I got a message on my lichess screen saying the "license" for chessonsteroids has "expired". After restarting my laptop and reinstalling the engine, it said that the engine "can't read or change the site's data". How can I combat this issue and is there a solution to this?

Pretty frustrating. First off, there is no free trial to even see if the bot works properly. Secondly, I tried to add payment and am getting declines though my card is working everywhere else. Wish I could give it a higher score but until these issues are resolved, I don't see how I can. Will try again later and will update accordingly. UPDATED: Trial added. I liked it. Plan on purchasing

Amazing extension and an amazing job on the developers end for releasing this to help beginners learn the game of chess. Though I wish I could have given it a 5 star, but the pricing right now just isn't for me with these times going on. I have to say I respect it as everyone is trying to find a way to make some money right now so you can't blame the guy for trying to cash in on his hard work. With all respect I would love to keep using this product, but at the time I just don't have the kind of money to spend on something like this. All in all it's an amazing extension and I would highly recommend this to people willing to learn more about the game of chess. Amazing job!

I've been playing Chess for over two years now and my elo never made it over 1200. This app helped me to get to 1850 and my goal of 2000 is finally in sight. Compared to other Chess apps and trainers I would say that this is much better and also priced better.

Extension works amazingly now, can't wait for the puzzle part to come out. It may take awhile for it to work but its worth it.

I used it before it was paid, and i love it. Now its paid, i bought it, and i still love it. it is human like moves, and looks really legit. Best extenstion ever. Thanks!

Can you please fix the glitch where when you promote the pawn to a queen it freezes the bot

This chess extension works brilliantly. It rarely glitches out and was the best chess tool I had ever used. But the problem is I was only able to use it for 2 days. I get that the developer(s) work very hard, as I am a coder myself, but making people pay a monthly subscription after it was free was not what I was expecting. I understand that making a tool like this shouldn't be for nothing(money-wise), but can't you just make money off of affiliate marketing? Making the tool free and someway advertising it would make a lot of people use the tool. Then because of all of those people using it, you can display ads from other businesses which would make you money. I know that Google takes 30% of whatever money you make, but I bet you could make more money off of affiliate marketing, rather than a subscription. Anyways, I love the extension. It's worth your money and not a rip-off. If you want to use the best chess tool in this entire Chrome Web Store, you came to the right place.

Hey dude great extension and all, working very well as I and what I believe the people here intended, although the monthly subscription is kind of surprising to me when it was introduced. You see, I really want to use this to improve my chess, but I am not able to afford the monthly fee but I definitely would if I can I promise, I really want to give this a 5 star but I can't because of it. To other people here, this extension is quite fun to use between friends and suitable for beginners in chess although avoid using it in official tournaments to save the grief of being exiled from the website

I am trying to pay the 5.99 per month extra and it keeps saying my card is declinded. I have 20+ grand in my checking account. This is ridiculous. I've had to call Fidelity who holds my visa debit card twice for hours of hold time and they continue to give me my balance. I installed this extension recently and thought it was really good. I only used it one day but I told myself that if this continues to work well Im gonna send them a donation to help out even tho I haven't been working lately. I lost my job due to covid. I have tried similar products and this was much better. The engine works faster than other products and played at a high level. The few games I played with it it showed me moves I would of never thought to make. Today I saw that it is no longer free. I don't blame them tho, its a good product, they should get paid for this!

It's a great extension and works very well, but i unfortunately cannot afford to pay i monthly fee for a chess extension if i could i would support the creator they 100% deserve it but i just cant so i cant give it a 5 star but other than that it really is a great app i don't recommend using it in ranked or anything like that to avoid getting banned and also it lowers the rank of others but with friends its very fun to use easy and great for beginners to learn what moves they should use and how to play better keep it up

I used this extension on chess.com before February 20, 2021 and I really liked it. It's very easy to install and use, and I haven't had any issues. However, it is not for cheating and your account does get closed.

My review from 2/19/21 This is hands down the best Chess tool I have used. There are alternative apps that work similarly but they are either subscription based or have a high cost for unlimited use. Chess on Steroids is now free to use and its just as good! I think its even better given the fact that it really does make human moves. After most games my analytics will have a couple inaccuracies and blunders but my win rate is high with elo over 2000. One feature I wish this had would be the ability to interact with Chess puzzles or the different Chess variants on lichess.org. on 2/20/22 Just one day later they changed things and now want a monthly fee paid to use this. Guys, I do want to support you and would pay a one time fee gladly for that. I just feel like having to pay every month for the rest of my life is a bit much for a Chrome extension. Don't you agree? Can we work something out?

WOW so i left a really nice review yesterday for these guys and in one day they change the format and now want a monthly fee to use this. Come on guys thats just way too much. Charge a one time fee and let us own it. Paying for the rest of my life for a Chrome extension is a bit much don't you think?

Long polling no longer seems to work

This is a great extension but it would definitely be better if you could use websocket instead of long polling. I was able to play on long polling yesterday, albeit quite laggy, but today long polling is not working because I get a message saying " Your challenge cannot be created because of your internet connection. Please reconnect and try again.". If you could implement websocket support or provide a fix for this issue I would probably consider donating on your buymeacoffee page.

I've been trying to get this extension to work but can't find it to work on chess.com. I've tried the long polling option and looked around for a fix. Any suggestions?

Often times does not load or show any moves. Not sure why, it used to work well before but not anymore. Also when queen promoting it will crash the bot for the entire game.

Hey, The extension worked really nice and helped me out alot, i took the try now option at first and after i ended up buying the full extension, but for some reason the bot does not work anymore anyone know why?

Issue when a pawn from either you or opponent becomes a queen stalls the bot. Sometimes it bugs out where it doesnt advise you the best possible move. (work around involves re-install). this is without the 1st issue i mentioned. (also is it possible to change strength of bot?)

Works like a charm. Just fix the queen promoting issue and there is no bugs I can see. Honestly great extension 5 stars!

Unable to promote to queen, and when someone gets a chance to promote, it breaks the bot for the rest of the game, but other than that it works great :) Will be 100% willing to change to 5 stars if these issues get fixed
