This is actually an option in Google Slides preferences now. No need for a plugin, but it does what it says it is supposed to do. Just go to "Tools" > "Preferences" > toggle "Do not change slide focus on scroll"

Who ever created this is a saint... and an environmentalist. This has kept me from throwing the mouse, computer, keyboard, desk, and chair across the room greatly reducing material destined for the landfill.

Like the other reviews, this extension is now unusable for day to day work in spreadsheets. Please revert the way it handled other sites to how it was before. 2/5 until fixed, 5/5 otherwise. EDIT: Quick response by the developer to fix this issue basically overnight. Back to 5/5

This was great but as of today I have had to remove it as it has unfortunately just started stopping me scrolling on google sheets too.

Why the change? This was a fantastic extension for Google Slides, but now it affects all Google Sheets. I can no longer scroll when this in on. It took me 20 minutes to figure out why me Google sheets were no longer allowing me to scroll (waste of my time).

Incredible! My last 9 hours of frustration with slides jumping while putting together a presentation for tomorrow is now solved! I just wish I searched for this 8 hours ago so I could have shaved off an hour of me jumping between slides inadvertently.

Thank you so very much. This works perfectly for me. I'm on Windows 10 using Google Presentation a lot. The issue was from using my Logitech mous MX Anywhere 2S (very high resolution with a very sensitive wheel option. It was almost impossible for me to use Google Presentation without deactivating the mouse wheel. Thanks again.

It does what it claims to do BUT... if you have the scroll reversed, as I do, it doesn't have an option for it. Please fix this!! It should (hopefully) be very simple to add this as an option. It's odd to change the scrolling behaviour for one single app. Other than that, good job!

this is a phenomenal addition that prevents a lot of frustration but it no longer seems to work (at least not with the trackpad on my 15" 2017 macbook pro running mojave) :(

Absolutely amazing. Thank you SOOOO much! Until now I had been leaving my control panel window open to the mouse scroll configuration page and keeping the checkmark in the corner. A total PITA. This is good and it did indeed solve my accidental slide scroll. Though it does remove any slide scroll. It would be great if it just increased the threshold before scroll occurs. Then it would be perfect.

OMG. I genuinely hate using Slides (and Microsoft Powerpoint, from which this annoying behaviour must have been copied from) because my slides keep jumping all over the place as I'm trying to edit. This plugin has genuinely improved my productivity and happiness. Thank you so much!!!

I've downloaded it and nothing? G Slides still skipping slides. The extension icon isn't greyed out. And when I click on icon to click on "stop slide scrolling" I get taken to developers website, go back to slides, and it still does nothing

Maybe this used to work once, but it doesn't any longer. The developer's site seems to be down, which might be related (eg. maybe the extension works, but it has to "check in" with the site first, and since it can't do that it doesn't work).

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! For a while I had no idea why the slides would move from one to another for no reason. this fixed it.

I was constantly flicking from one slide to another with my Apple Magic Mouse in Google Slides and getting very frustrated. The problem was that the scroll up and down touch control (the classic mouse wheel) jumped through slides and it was extremely difficult to move the mouse or clicking without scrolling up or down at all. This extension completely solved the problem. Thank you!!
