Love this extension. More keyboard, less mouse.

Works amazingly for google search results. In youtube the / to focus on search input works, which is great. On amazon.com nothing seems to work. Github already has the / to search shortcut so I'm not sure what it's adding there. Still 5 stars!

Amazing product. Extremely simple and very versatile. And it even works with other websites like Amazon. I wonder why this sort of thing doesn't exist natively. It was so awesome I ended up creating two other related extensions: youtube_kbd_nav and OGS Kbd Nav.

Shortcuts for go to Images, Videos, News, Maps doesn't work anymore! Please fix it, this extension is a brilliant, diamond out of a pile of mud.

Great extension!

At first, it was exactly what I wanted. But ever since today, for some reason this happens: i see a blue arrow on the first search result, then i hit j, and it becomes a black arrow on the SAME search result, then i hit j, and then it becomes a blue arrow on the second search result. so you have to hit the down arrow/j twice for each search result, which is kind of annoying. I tried resetting settings to default and restarting chrome, but this still happens. edit: totally fixed. as for the settings themselves, they don't save even if i hit save. the only ones that do happen to save are the experimental settings (such as enabling it on youtube). edit: the default "next search result" keybinding is k, but vim users would prefer j. the default "previous search result" keybinding is i, but we'd prefer k here. problem is, i can't save my keybinding settings for some reason. when i click the save button, literally nothing happens. EDIT: everything above was promptly fixed, thank you so much! I'm glad I wrote this review. This tool is PERFECT. it does exactly what you want, 100% of the time. I wish I could give this 6 stars. better than other related extensions.

Great extension when working correctly. Recently I stopped being able to type certain letters into the google search bar, though. I believe it's all the same letters as the shortcuts for this extension. I'm guessing some Chrome update broke the extension, hoping it's fixed quick! Thanks for the great software!

Simply awesome! can't recommend enough

It's really simple to use and great but I'm missing one feature: It can't select "subresults" from the same domain (like for example stackoverflow). As a workaround I navigate to the parent result and then tab my way to the subresult. But that breaks the flow since I have to switch keys and I also have to go over the dropdown arrow every time. Would be great if you could add this some time!

fantastic. While Google for some daft reason decided to remove keyboard functionality form search results, this re-instates it. Why is this so hard to grasp? Keyboard = efficient, mouse = inefficient..!

Can not live without this anymore

Great app, but it suddenly started requiring permission to read by browser history. Its extremely sketchy and invasive for a navigator app to suddenly start reading your entire web searching history. Their isn't even a reason given for the change. (This has been reverted, and I am comforted by the fact the app is open-source, so I have updated the rating)

The only one of these extensions that doesn't force browsing history permissions. Works splendidly

Exactly what I was searching for. It really improves my search speed and the overall ease of use of Chrome. All in all, it's awesome.

There are many like it, but only this one allowed me to map the spacebar to follow a link and also the 'w' and 's' keys to navigate. Every other extension forces compromises, but not this one. Well done.

Absolutely love it! Must have extension.

Works well. Default settings are good. Works on encrypted.google.com too. Supports customization of each input key except for "jump to search box" (which it supports despite not mentioning so). Best competition I've found to Google Search Keyboard Shortcuts by Jacob Chafik.

Fantastic, allows me to quickly zip around and open links. Even skips over page fluff and gives you the first "real" link. Has configurable keyboard shortcuts for options.

Lightweight way to restore Google Instant functionality. I can browse my google search results without moving my hands off the keyboard again. THANK YOU!

Thanks, works as described! It would be great to bring back Google Instant's typing feature, where pressing any letter or number would focus on the search bar and type *space* and the corresponding character. But still good job

Perfectly re-adds the functionality that Google recently removed from their search engine product. Now you can once again use your up/down/enter keys to navigate between the result titles/URLs—and open them up in new tabs! Mind blowing! ;)
