It kept saying not working on this page, i was on google meet so i uninstalled it 3 times still doesnt work . completely useless extentsion <3

not much camera effects but still good

i want to know is it just me or who is experiencing that this expansion is not working on zoom browser and please help me!!

this extension is pretty good. the only problem is that it makes my computer a little laggy and also my camera suddenly stops working.

this extention is slay queen

all is nice but its mentioned that we can record from zoom and meet but not working in meet!

Used to work well, Unfortunately, it now disables my camera.

Meet Tweak is not running on this page

This exstention was changed on july 2nd,2021 it rename tweak. But the grid was not fix When get kicked while in meeting after in 2021 it suddently fix I realy like exstentions now 13 buttons now! Everyone I'M TO GOAL 20 EXTENTIONS BUTTON :D

It was not working again. Include myself in the grid was not working. When presenting starts Grid view was broken and only few grids are shown.

IT DOSENT WORKKKKK every time i turn it on the it just changes the tile and i cant barely see the presentation

Honestly didn't work for me

In direct violation of the original license. When this was simply implementing a fix for the broken version, this was okay. Now it is being used to peddle the creators crowdsourcing projects. This is not a practice that I can support.

Doesnt work like before, it became worse. Even after turning to 49 tiles, doing everything suggested, nothing happened. It never shows everyone when our professor starts presenting. Please fix this issue because I am the one assigned to record our attendance. Thank you

This extension has been broken since Feb 2021 and all of the "fixes" listed in the comments and what I can find online. I decided to just move on and deal with it being broken. Until today. I open Chrome and a new TAB opens up advertising Gridview 1.50 with a phsycial mute button. The add claims to be the creator, Simone .I will certainly NOT support an extension that opens unwanted tabs with advertisements and will be removing from my extensions immediately.

This extension was great, Until parts of the end of 2020. It became so terrible that you cant see all of your classmates/friends.

Well, At the start of my classes it was wonderful, I could see everyone even if the chat was open. The presentation was highlighted, and everyone was in alphabetical over. I would have given this a 5 star if this service continued. But ever since it disappeared and reappeared from google extensions, my experience with this wasn't the same. It now shows the same number of people as in the tiled view, and the presentation was just the same size, and it only showed a part of it. Now it has been horrible to use this, and I prefer the tiled view to this extension. I may give a better review if: 1. The developer would make it the same as before.

I loved grid view up until a few months ago. After that, it only shows, like, 5 people on my screen and I can't even highlight speakers. Can someone please have a look at that? It's a little hard to do group projects without being able to see anyone.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! As a teacher, this extension is worth its weight (or code) in gold! After Google made changes to Meet in March which broke this extension, I was no longer able to see my students AND my presentation at the same time. Since we need to video record all lessons, this was not ideal to say the least, because I could not see my students while teaching. This extension now works differently than before: students are not listed alphabetically, and they won't all be shown if you are including your presentation in the grid at 3X size and have the chat open. That is why I rated it 4 stars, and not 5. Please see if you can adjust the extension to automatically resize everyone when the toolbars and/or chat box are open. Having all students listed alphabetically is also very helpful. Thanks again!

I reinstalled the grid view and I can only see everyone when the host is not presenting, I used to be able to see everyone even when the host would present. If this can be fixed I will change my review because in the past it did work for me.

Back working again! As a teacher this is a life saver.

This extension was great until it stopped working recently, due to an update of Google Chrome. It does NOT work, despite the claim that it does, and no matter what settings you change. Truly disappointing that after 1 month, there is no fix by the developer. What a let down.

I cant see all the other participants all I can see are 12 including me. Can ya fix this?

It was okay just the presentations didn't work, it was just in a little box like a person would be like. It has to get fixed a little more.

My teachers loved it until a paywall launched for it. I had to block the extension. Now that the paywall has been removed, my teachers are again "trying" it out. That paywall was a very bad idea. I'm sure Google is now working to integrate similar functionality. I like the extension on behalf of my staff, but I am hesitant to believe it is here to stay.

Thank you so much for working to fix the extension. I was so sad when google meet blocked it and being without the extension for a few weeks has really proven how helpful it was. I really miss being able to see everyone when someone was presenting their screen. I hope you find a work around!

Glad to see this extension is finally being updated! I wish Google would either stop updating Meets in a way that breaks this extension or just bake this extension's features directly into Meets. This extension is nowhere near what it used to be, but I'm very grateful that you are still trying to make a product that is so useful to so many teachers during this pandemic. Thank You

This worked great for my teaching until a few weeks ago. It is making it really hard to engage with my students. I can only see 10 people on my screen at once instead of everyone.

It works fine until you present, so basically what it does it's the same thing you can do without it. The only thing new is that the presentation is hidden when you present, but you cannot see everybody like before. It's still broken.

This is the complete opposite of seeing everybody in the meet. It shows even less people then was in the uh.. non-grid view...? You know what I mean. But I hate this extension.

This was hard to get to work but it did if i disable ad blocker i didn't have much problems but over time this started to freeze in the middle of doing the grid and now i have to uninstall or rejoin a lot of times for it to work properly.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. This extension used to work well but recently had a ton of issues making it basically unusable.

It started of really good, it worked fine and you could see everyone. Suddenly it started showing everyone on a vertical line. I did what was said here to remove it, clear cache and install it again. It stopped doing the vertical line, but it also stopped showing everyone. As soon as you set to grid view then a lot of people disappear. It is not the internet because I have very fast fibre, it is the faulty extension. It's such a shame as it used to be very good.

It was great untill it wasn't it started lining up top to bottem them they fixed it but disabeld a lot of the options that where why i had it why would you do that then they disalbeld a bunch of they advanced features

Was working great before recent updates to google meet....Menu Bar at the bottom remains pinned and now displays 49 participants in layout. When presenting the grid view is still needed since not all participants can be seen.

When it was working, I loved how I was able to see my presentation as part of the grid view, rather than that tiny box in the corner. This way, when I was switching tabs while presenting I knew that others were seeing what I was seeing. I hope that feature comes back with the update!

I was in love with this extension until it stopped working. Please fix it! Life was so much easier when I could see what I was presenting and my students were in alphabetical order. Please, please, please get this fixed!!!

Hello, I have been using the google meet grid view extension since the beginning of the school year. As of last week I can no longer see all of my students on the grid. Please help fix this issue. Yes I have already tred changing the layout along with other "fixes". I need to be able to see all my students when I am teaching. Thank you.

It only shows a few people and the presentation is the same size as the boxes for the participants!! Please fix!!

Ive had this extension since it got released for my classes and recently I have been on my classes and it only shows a few kids and not the whole class. I also had the box checked so I could see myself in the grid and that isn't working either. Not much of a fix.

It was very good in the beginning but then in feb 2021 it went all haywire and all the videos were not coming on my screen please fix this and i will congratulate you but if you don't fix this by the end of march then i will LEAVE and that may cause 2 or more other people to LEAVE.

I downloaded this again and it works but is there a way to get the alphabetical order back?

it worked for a few days, than it suddenly didn't work. It just switched to the screen without the grid.

You call this a FIX?! I got this extension towards the beginning of school, it worked great. I could see presentations better, I could see everything. However, on Feb. 9, 2021, all of my classmates just were in a straight line. All squished in one line. I can't even see anyone's faces. Please fix this. If you don't fix this soon, you will have one less person using this. Good in the beginning, horrific in the end. Please just fix this.

When I went to click on the grid view button and it is about to replace the grid, it just stacks it. So please fix it

Love this extension. Lets me see all my students at once. Yesterday it stopped working like others were saying but I just deleted the extension and redownloaded it and it works now! If you're here because yours is broken, delete it and redownload!

becuase after the fix it work and 3 or 4 months later it didnt cus now when i use it the pannel for the grid view is behind the people and the people is now smoll

This fix works well for me. I have one recurring problem, though; recently, when I load a Meet, all the participants appear stacked vertically in my screen. Instead of in tiles, they just become thinner and thinner bars on the screen. If I reload the Meet, it snaps back to displaying tiles, but it's annoying to have to load and then reload my Meet every time I teach a class. Anyone else have this issue and/or a solution for it?

Bad. Just bad. When I present, this kicks me out. I know that because I presented the same thing without the extension, and it didn't kick me out. It will also occasionally decide to change my settings for no reason. But worst of all, periodically if my layout is auto or tiled, this app will squish all the members together for some reason in a line. I don't recommend this over any other similar app, but my school has blocked the others, so RIP me.

This was working amazing for the first two weeks I had this extension. Then all of a sudden it started doing what the other extension would do, and shifted the tiling to be a ribbon. I have removed and reinstalled it every day, and for a bit it works and then stops. Very annoying. It was making things so much easier for a bit with teaching, and now it's not.

However, a couple of days ago the grid view just...stopped working? Now it just looks like the normal tiled view and I can't see everyone, and I don't show in the grid even when I click to show myself

I really like this extension. Not only can I see all of my students at the same time, but I like that it will even show me what I'm presenting instead of just saying that I'm presenting. My one problem is when I use Breakout Rooms. For some reason, it will stack everyone vertically and I'm not able to see what is being shared.

I works for a little bit then one time I clicked on it, and for some reason the whole grid turns in a vertical shape and make the pictures and screen size worse than before.

Useless. Why risk your mettings with extentions that just create shortcuts to existing features! Don't Waste your space and mettings. DON'T BOTHER!!!!

It works like a charm on my laptop, but on my school-issued Chromebook, it can get extremely glitchy. I'm not sure if it's due to the amount of people in the Google meet that's causing my issue or it's just the Chromebook itself. But once again, it works like a charm! Thanks!

This Grid view is absolutely terrible the for school I have to use my phone instead of the school Chromebook because the grid view kicks me out of it and instead of my district deleting it and banning it like most other districts my district did not they kept the old version and got the "fixed one" if anyone how to delete the extension even though your developer wont allow you to delete extensions please tell me.

I liked this extension well enough until I got a new laptop yesterday. I installed the newest version Chrome onto my PC laptop and when I added the Grid View fix extension and tried to use it, it crashed Chrome. Tried uninstalling Grid View and everything was fine. Can't seem to find a support page to notify them of this issue.

I love the app, and I use it everyday with my classes. The only issue I have is when I remove a person from the meeting, they are still there. Their picture is removed from the grid, but they are still available to type in chat and respond vocally. Am I missing something???

View advanced setting will not pop up? Any ideas how to fix this?

Better than the other ones, but if you have a slow computer, you should use the only show people with cameras on. If you don't your computer will be matrix.

It's good but I had 2 other extensions installed and the grid view started acting up. Now it glitches every time I use it! You have to update this one because it's not doing what it is supposed to do. It's just bad when it glitches! ? Update it please.

Well, to begin there was a feature letting you hide specific people. So if I would want to hide someone, I could click the button. Ever since today I can't do that anymore. So yeah that's it.

This extension works great, except when retuning from breakout rooms. other than that its musch better than the stock grid

Very nice extension!! I used it for months now, but for some reason the grid is resized when chat is showing despite the "Obscure grid when chat is showing" option is ticked.. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for this bug/flaw.

Hardly ever works! When it is turned on, even though I'm selected I never show in the grid, every one becomes a line of their own. I have uninstalled and reinstalled so many times its a headache.

Names disappear, and highlight speaker feature does not work

It's a nice extension but tday when the grid would resize when the tool bar would go down the names would disappear. It wasn't doing this until yesterday and i would like to see this resolved. Please do it at the earliest
