This is such a great little addon. The creator works hard, listens to feedback and updates regularly with through descriptions of said updates. The super harsh and unfair reviews (that clearly have no idea how code/permissions work btw) are ridiculous. This is the only extension of its kind for a reason!

THE Indispensable Extension in my browser This extension allows you to right-click in news sites, Instagram, photo sites, and save the information to your Tumblr blog(s). It does this so well, that I skip all other methods of saving and capture everything I need because the functionality is better through PTT. One important note: This seems to not have updates according to the dates on the reviews. That's far from true. There are regular updates, and if you email Mike about an issue, you can just sit back and in a few weeks, he will find the time in his busy schedule to address that issue. I donate regularly, but I think you'll find that this extension is worth many times the minimum donation recommended. Again, this is the most important tool I use for blogging. It's well worth your time to give it a try.

I love this plugin... but it no longer working with images from Instagram... just comes up with broken links. PLEASE fix this!! Edit: Fixed, thank you!

works as intended, love the unexpected features such as click and source link fills in and previous tags used dropdown option. Great extension!

It was great until just recently when it told me that I needed to remove my accounts and re-add them. I tried to give it permission again, but it throws up an error and when I try to report that error, it won't go through! PLEASE HELP! 1/26/21 UPDATE: says i haven't selected an image...except i have. tried with different images from different place to more than one linked blog, but it still throws out the same error

Extremely useful extension if you use Tumblr. The program allows posting from Instagram and a variety of web sources external to Tumblr that speeds up the posting process tremendously. The developer is very responsive. If possible, he will make an effort to fix problems you encounter. This is free, but if you appreciate the developer's work, you can use the Donate tab after clicking on PTT in the extensions bar.

Seemingly great if it would work. The extension was quick to accept my required "donation" for upgrade, but simply will not post or queue anything. Reported, but haven't heard from developer.

It's fast, it works intuitively, and it does exactly what it says. It has saved me so much time when I find something I want to post to a blog. The only thing I would change is a slight update to the UI (it looks a lot like original Tumblr did in 2008), but the layout is quite intuitive and it's easy to navigate despite looking a little outdated.

Wish I could draft, queue, see hovering tag suggestions/my unique tags at least. Also experienced lags every time I moved my cursor to another part of the form. I won't blame the developer for how lousy html formatted posts look on desktop, that's all tumblr's fault. I do wish there were't automatically two separate html fields being generated when I right clicked a block of text from another tab. I am literally penniless atm, I can't donate even a small amount and it seems like I'm making less effort just manually sharing pics, quotes or screen capping parts of a web page. I might try it again if a few updates are made but I would never use a desktop browser feature that I have to pay for that essentially does exactly the same as I already do switching between tabs; especially considering a basic post form is just a less customizable version of the rich text option I mostly use for basic entries on the site.

Great extension! Been using it for years to update our blog. The developer has also been very attentive to our inquiries regarding any problems!

Not only a great tool for posting to Tumblr, but every time there is an issue the developer responds quickly to fix it. It is free, but a donation is recommended to reward the developer for all of the hard work.

It´s simple and it works very very goos. It´s a great tool that I use all the time. I don't have to loos focus on what im researching, I just tag what I find interesting and continue. :) Thank you!

This is the only extension I've found that supports multiple tumblr blogs.

I was a bit hesitant to sign up but I think you need to to give it permissions. Anyhow, works great and seems to be the only one of its kind.

Don't know if it works or not. I refuse to sign in or sign up to use an extension. Will remove from browser. Make it where the user does not need to sign in or sign up then I will try it out for real. Until then "see ya!"

seems legit. I would like if you could post multiple images per post though.

It used to work great, but then, the only good features become for donation only. I donated and it didn't work. It says that I should mail him with my registered account and he'll write back, but he didn't.

It used to work. I'm not going to bash the creator because it was a great app when it worked. I might need to uninstall and reinstall and if it works when I do then I'll edit my review. I keep getting {"code":209,"message":"invalid session token"} error

useless. this extension can't sign in to my tumblr account to post, using the e-mail and password I use to login every day.

The extension tries to extort "donations" (that are a $5 minimum) from you now via nagging you with a six second delay and message every other post now. Really scummy way to things.

Sign up or log in? Invalid link it said. Since i don't have any. Used to be useful, i wouldn't recommend.

Paid/Donated but still getting asks for donations. That wouldn't have been so bad since i really enjoyed the app but now it wont let me log into my own account, tried resetting passwords to no avail.

Very disappointed with this extension. Since I changed my Tumblr url it won't let me post with it anymore and ask to update PTT and even after I did I still get that posting error message every time. This plus the constant calls for donations and inability to use any other feature without it makes it pretty much useless and more of annoyance than anything else. Removed.

Great extension. Probably the most feature rich of all related Tumblr ones. However, the annoying calls for donations (even after donating) are hugely off-putting.

I've donated twice, but apparently it's not enough. A great extension, which is why I paid twice. But I think twice should be enough to be left alone.

Best Extension for tumblr since xkit! Works great, on all sidblogs, tags, and html edit. Posts from pixiv and a complete lifesaver and time saver. Recommended for every blog!

Requires payment to do anything half useful. Lasted 30 seconds before uninstalled... pointless extension.

Absolutely excellent. Have gotten my suggestions implemented, bugs I report are quickly fixed, and it always works. Even has desktop notifications and clear error messages that explain any post failures. Regularly updated, and gets better every time.

Ok, so my original review said that this extension was good, other than bugging you for money and making you wait every other time you used it. Now it appears that queuing posts has been changed to a paid feature. Seeing as this is the only thing I used to use the extension for, I guess I am not going to use this extension any more. This is not useful any more for me. Give yourself a round of applause for alienating your users, guys.

Removed scheduled post on the free version. It just lost all it's functionality for me. Uninstalled.

Doesn't do what it's supposed to unless you "donate". Such a shame, I'm removing and downloading a different one.

Great App if you post to tumblr a lot. Supports multiple accounts the developper is also very responsive to suggestions or bug fixes ! Worth a donation for what you get !

Must have tumblr extension if you use chrome. Author is also very quick to respond to issues.

Extension filled with annoying pop-ups asking for "donations" and "donator only" features.

I've been using PTT through Opera with another extension that lets me use Chrome extensions for a while now. I love PTT it is by far one of the best extensions out there. The creator is not only helpful but friendly and willing to listen to any and all advice. 5/5.

I have four or five extensions I've been using for years and Post To Tumblr is one of them that I really love. I got 5+ years of use, have donated and will donate again. Mike is super accessible and we have exchanged some emails with error reports and suggestions from that time on. I'd give a six-star, I use it heavily.

Awesome, can't live without it and Michael is very solicit whenever there's a problem. An absolute essential.

Quite simple to use and you don't need instructions on how to use this app. I'm currently using it to publish to my Tumblr blog that's integrated into my Muse website

i can't live without this extension. Mike Cann, the creator, gives fast and great help. It literally might be the fastest way to share anything on tumblr, aside from directly on your dash! anything outside of the tumblr dashboard, i basically go to this handy right-click. LOVE.

Very helpful and friendly developer! I messaged him about a change I'd like and he was very quick and friendly about it! He clearly works very hard for it and the extra features you get with a little donation are worth it a hundred times over. I use this for a good number of tumblr accounts and have run into no issues. I honestly couldn't do it without this addon. I really recommend it!

I can't live without this extension. Paying for it/donating is a really good thing to do. Support this extension forever! Doesn't work. It hangs there waiting for something to happen and nothing. They want you to pay for the one touch portion of it, but why would I pay for it if the free version doesn't work. Used this on Firefox for years but on Chrome it just sucks.

Works great! + Pinterest is great but won't allow any nudity w/ any sexuality & blocks any nude pic(& even random pic) it thinks might link to "inappropriate content" (Pintr. r prob. -!- X-tians -!- ) but Pintr. doesn't block Tumblr! Now Facebook 100% blocks Pintr. pinning >:( but fb can't block this tricky little extension!! it's virtually unstoppable!! ..i feel like I am missing something. All it does is open a new tumblr post tab with NONE of the info from the original page. If you already have tumblr open, this app is useless.

Used to be great with one click posts, but now it's nagware. I understand asking for donations, but if you remove the one feature I used it for, I will remove your app and find something else. bye bye.

I like it, if it always worked it'd be perfect. But it's very glitchy. Today it won't work at all, even after uninstalling and reinstalling again. Right click on a picture, and the 'PTT' option is not even on the list. Disappointing.

It's marked as malicious adware. It also only pulls up a blank page and never works.

Wasn't working, at first. I had to remove it from Chrome, then add it again. It works fine, now. Apparently, I have to do it often...

I have been using this for months now without any qualms. The notification is nice and large to let me know that my posts have been successfully uploaded. The developer is always responding to inquiries and is on top of things. Something that I wish was a standard with all developers.

works good, saves time, but the other "share to tumblr" extension is faster. that one doesn't have the right click posting though. i guess this one might be pretty nice if i paid to get the 1 click posting haha but i still would like a faster interface for tagging and stuff like xkit, this interface is just web/html based whereas the "share to tumblr" extension isn't and has much more of an xkit feel.

This is a great extension. It's the best one I've tried for posting to Tumblr. I've tried them all including Xkit which I love and this one by far saves the most time with posting. The one-click feature which you get with donating is amazing. It takes a bit on your part to set it up but once you get it how you want it then all you have to do is right click on the photo and click Post To Tumblr. I have had no problems with it at all. The developer Mike answered my email promptly and was very helpful with my question. Donating for the extra one-click feature is definitely worth it!

Not really sure what it's supposed to do. Clicking the button does nothing - is that only something that I get by paying? Right click and select Post To Tumblr and I get a post dialog with nothing filled in. What's the point?

It doesn't work... I click and nothing happens. I right click and it gives me options which don't show up, the option to come here so I did (and now I'm rating it) and the Remove button which I'm going to do after I write this. Sorry, but I don't want it if it doesn't work.

Worked great until ... it stopped working despite at least one update. If it was working I would give it a 4 or 5.

paid for the extra features, I especially like the right-click and the multiple accounts. Still has a lot of bugs and crashes, sync across different devices doesn't always work, and some features should be added like select/deselect post to twitter and Facebook from the PTT interface. Good extention, but needs some work to get the bugs out

I use this app more than any other. If you have a habit of posting images you find on the internet to your tumblr, this makes its effortless. Right click on the image and boom, its on your tumblr. Works perfectly. I donated to get rid of the 5 second delay. Donation or not, highly recommend.

This is a great for blog building.

When it comes to donations, I'm not the first person to share my money. But I don't regret it: I help the programmer AND have access to the best extension to manage my tumblrs (more than 5!) at the same time. Also, everytime I have a problem or a suggestion, Mike listen and helps really fast. I've tried others and they don't compare. There's a lot of options to personalize, don't give up so soon before trying and send an email to the creator and he will help :)
