I like the idea, but it doesn't work .... it just spins indefinitely.

Sorry, doesn't seem to work. Wish it did. It just spins and seemingly does nothing.

When clicking on it, it just gives a loading sign that never goes away. For those who still want to backup their notes, there's Google Takeout. It'll export your notes in the form of json files; it's not perfect, but at least it's something.
