When trying to install the extension, after loading in email account and password, I am given three options to choose from to complete. Getting vbucks for Fortnite, commit to buying an apple watch or a PS5. No thanks on any of these but there does not appear to be any way around this selection screen.

Does nothing at all. Why do you need an extension anyway? Other conferencing providers share screens fine from Chrome without one.
Does not work on Chrome OS. As others have said, the icon remains grayed out. When selecting it a menu does appear below to manage the extension. When clicking on "Microsoft Teams Screen Sharing" from that menu, it simply takes you to the chrome extension page in Chrome Store.

Apparently screen sharing is already available in the Web app (on Windows machines at least). So what is the point of this extension? If it doesn't do anything, remove it from the Chrome Web Store.
Doesn't seem to do anything. I was hoping for Teams screen sharing from a Chromebook. The Teams app doesn't allow screen sharing. Thought this might do it. Nope.

Unlike Zoom, Citrix and other fabulous Chrome extensions, this one relies on MS Windows software to function. What is the point?!

Added to chrome. Clicking the extension option "Microsoft Teams Screen sharing" brings you to this page. Worthless. It just doesn't do anything.

Really want to share my Chrome OS screen with my co-workers but I've found no solution to this problem. It seems Screen Sharing from Microsoft Teams requires a Windows or Mac operating system.
This extension along with Enable Teams calling extension helps me use Microsoft Teams. The only problem, it seems that I cannot view files in Teams web version. MS Teams is intentionally removing features from Linux platform

Seems to work really well in Chrome OS 76. Another wonderful reason not to use my windows laptop any more. Had to re-start chrome browser session to start it working, but now it just works. In teams you just click the share control just as you would in the thick client. Marvellous.

This is a useless extension, no way to manage settings or merge calls with app. Any clickable links in the extension just redirect to the webstore site.
Great attempt. love to have this feature. :) But It's not working today!!! Expecting Microsoft to come up with working extension..

It works fine on Ubuntu 18.04 running Gnome .
No instructions on how to use it at all. In a Teams meeting nothing changes. When clicking the extension icon, there's only one link that leads to this page.

Doesn't do anything when using current versions of Teams, Chrome, and Linux. Teams just complains "Desktop Sharing isn't supported in your browser yet".
