Really loved the features and very easy to use, especially for those who are low on storage. Highly recommended for students and other office workers. Just wishing for an image to text feature on the list of options, but overall a really good thing that chrome had an extension.

I find the online converter way more useful. You can convert many types of files seemingly very easy. Personally, I have only used Online-Convert.com for different image conversions, so I can't speak on the other file types, but I haven't had a single issue converting any image files. You can also batch convert as many as you want in one upload... as long as you have premium. Overall, it's a great service, but the extension falls very short because there aren't enough options to convert to, and so I rarely use it. Unless I'm converting to one of the most common file types, I almost always find myself using Convert-Online's website instead. 3* — not enough options and not very useful. Too basic.
Saw all the 5 star reviews - so perhaps it's just me, my browser, my chromebook or my internet connection (though none of them ever give me any trouble). But if you leave the active page the extension ceases to function! Which means one must sit and WAIT for it. So instead of my biggest file - I really DO want to reduce the impact of my mov files on Google Drive by converting them to mp4 - so, naturally I started with the biggest offender, 1GB+ Wouldn't have been fair to judge the extension on that alone. So I picked the smallest - I gave the extension TEN MINUTES to upload a 147MB file. I was still waiting on it to tell me that it was done and for it to ask me what format I wanted my file to be converted into when I realized that writing this MUCH DESERVED ONE STAR REVIEW was a better use of my time. Good luck to you if you choose to go with the 5 star reviewers instead of me. But I'm uninstalling the thing and have no intention of giving it a second chance at wasting my time.

The chrome extension has much less features than the website, extension is noticeably slower. File converting on the website works great though. Bringing over functionality of the website, removal of limited amount of conversions, and speeding up of the addon would be great. could be a easy 5 star and very helpful tool, please improve it!

The design was good, but why can't you convert it to certain files like a gif? If you want to make it better please change this.

smh used to be a little convenient, wasn't perfect but it did grab the url you wanted to convert for you... but now really is faster to just bookmark the file extensions you commonly convert to and paste the url in yourself. they overhauled the site so now when you right click and select convert to image in the context menu, from, two sub menus, you land on a page that has every file extension like for videos... ctrl+f is needed to get find say png. why even have the option to convert to image, video, etc?

The website is really great and probably the best converting service I've ever used. But this app is completely useless. It just gives you fast links to their site. As useful as having a couple of bookmarks.
If you only need it for one type of conversion then a bookmark is better - with this, you're clicking and scrolling all over the site to get what you want.

Not sure, why this extension, it's not allow to download WEBP image to PNG on chrome, it's taking me there website.. So why need the extension install in my chrome ? I can convert the image directly in the website...

I'm not at all familiar with conversions (first time doing so). I am so happy with this. PDF file to PNG conversion. Took a little to understand as well as a few tries, but once properly followed the instructions the file was perfectly converted in seconds (through the site). The extension, however, does seem a bit useless.
Not only is online-convert.com AWESOME but so is this extension! Which saves a lot of time for anyone that does a lot of file conversions like myself. I create original Windows OS themes and use a lot of specialized icons.With this extension I can quickly convert any graphic I find that I'd like to use as an icon in Windows by simply right clicking and following the simple steps afterwards on their incredible website. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS & THEIR SERVICES!!
Whatever it does - it doesn't show you. There's no finished product for you to download or upload or copy or whatever.
Website is great, but Chrome plugin basically useless. You can easily replace this plugin with a bookmark. But again ... website is great and there's some free limited functionality which I really like.
It doesn't even work. I went to convert a powerpoint pdf to word and it said it "converted" it, but it didn't provide any option to open it. Just seems like a scam to download people's information.
