Failed to figure out width and height. Can't save :(
Didn't work, first as mentioned by other reviews you have to enable load from file url. After that it gave error can not determine width height can not save :(
Does this work with ChromiumOs or chromeos? Or with chrome only? I cannot get this to work. Perhaps as the ChromeOs progressed, this extension stopped working? I got it to do something once. The expanded image did not fill the new large window. It was just the same size icon in the corner of the larger new size, with the rest of the window blank. After one try, the extension icon is disabled.... I wonder if this is now a prohibited icon for security reasons? Note I trying this in 2021.9 with chromeOs v 89.
Even after allowing URLs it still did nothing
Doesn't work. I did like explained in the instructions, but clicking 'Save SVG as PNG' only redirects me to this page!
Nice extension! After installing and allowing the file URLs, I did have to refresh the images I already had open. Also works if you have downloaded an svg, then drag it into chrome from your desktop!

The extension works great! It's VERY IMPORTANT to allow local file URLs *explicitly* or otherwise it won't work with local files (which is what all the poor rating reviews complain about). Right-click the icon on the toolbar, select Manage Extension, then check Allow File URLs setting.
Works after you follow the instructions to enable access to file urls, but does not support stylesheets in SVG images.

Saw lots of reviews saying it didn't work but fortunately, someone had added in the reviews that you need to set the setting "Allow access to file URLs" in the extension manager. Once done, works fine for me. Could really do with being in the description.
Once I changed the necessary settings in the extension manager, this extension did exactly what I needed it to. Thanks for a great utility!

It didn't work. I followed the instructions to open the SVG into it's own tab and although it did show the option once i clicked it nothing happened. It didn't save the file or anything.
Edit: so far only works for svg from wikipedia webpage not local files won't save PNG files resize to very large size is great. works for me!
Worked completely fine for me
Worked for me, was able to save down svg files as png. You have to right click on the photo, click "copy image address" open the link on a new tab, right click on the photo and choose the extension button in the menu.
