DO NOT USE THIS APP. IT IS ALREADY DEAD and ABANDONED. No support provided and no updates for this extension. ALTHOUGH USEFUL FOR BASIC MACRO, WITH TEST EXPRESSIONS, IT IS REALLY DUMB. AND NO UPDATES SO CLEARLY THIS IS A DEAD EXTENSION.
usefull and clean
I have during several years tried different plugins/software with macro capabilities. Wildefire is the only one I manage to actually doing what I want it to do. Possible due to the fact that other plugins are a little bit to complicated for me. In my case I have recorded 11 clicks (which has to be done 6000 times a year). This clicks are at different positions and opens different webpages. It is working perfectly. How do you get the plugin to run at maximum speed? Do you need to change som timings?
I tried using this addon to automate inmails on Linkedin Recruiter. The main issue is that the simulation needs to be started with an specific URL and runs the steps on the same url you initially tested. The only way advanced automation works is if you can run it from whichever page you want, that's where the dynamic work starts. If the simulation runs only on the same page as initially tested or, it runs like a new simulation instead of running over the page you want (new page url every single time) then, this won't do it.
Not Easy to use but Work! Thank
If your macro needs a page change, it hard codes the new page change URL. Even though I need to CLICK an item and then make changes on the new page. That opens. Nice try, but fail... sorry.
Works well but some websites username and password not accepted? Could there be any reasons for this -"invalid password"
The copy function doesn't seem to work correctly. I'm using text select right before copy but it can't seem to copy the text of the element.
Only thing I don't like about this app is the fact that it loads in a separate window. This causes issues when trying to record scrolling pages where the page loads as one scrolls further down the page. I'd love to be able to record exclusively on my open active tab, this was I could preload the entire page before hand.
Hi. Is it possible to export the Event Log as actions for Puppetteer? Right now, it seems that I need to manually copy each selector.
It has a great potential if the dev didn't just bail on it. Still needs a lot of work. Pros: - User friendly - Nice design and the best work editor Cons: - Lack of forums and tutorials - Slow when playing the recorded action - no loop (?) - maybe this is a bug that will be resolved but there is an option to assign keyboard shortcut for recorded action but it doesn't work (?)
Ian, I really love this extension. I have spent all day looking at tons of paid macro or automation tools and I think your is by far the easiest to use out of the box. Especially for free, I hope you get a paid version soon so we can enjoy more features! Also The venture capital website you use for the scrape into google sheets no longer functional. I am trying to take a screen shot but that page in the documentation is missing. Could you please add it back?
It's a bit slow, I expect to run recorded macros faster.
Tried several times. Couldn't get it to work.
Doesn't work anymore!
Claims to record keystroke and mouse actions in Chrome, but does none of that. It's either buggy or a fraud.
I wan't to love this, but there is no way to speed up your simulation. The whole point of this is to be able to re-run a set of commands in a fraction of the time. All this does is replay the actions exactly at the same speed you delivered them. Not useful at all as a developer.
No way of running a simulation multiple times (looping), therefore it defeats the purpose in my usecase.
At last I found. It's the easy, enjoyable and best way for automation website.
It doesn't record anything, such as mouse clicks when in a Jacascript program.
Needs some more advanced tutorials and a dedicated community forum. Has great potential!
it simply doesn't do anything...
This is actually amazing. It does almost exactly what I need. Working with UUIDs, though, the selectors on some elements are never the same in the simulation as they were in the recording, so I have to work around that, but it is still a great app. Great UI and ease of use, too.
THIS is awesome! what a fantastic tool, and a million times more powerful and userfriendly than iMacro and all other tools out there!
Super Awesome,is this opensource?for some webapplication need some changes example : i like to enter random names and save not the same name every time,if this is open source i can modify and use in my test cases
There's one thing this tool needs desperately! **Use Cases** I can see the potential but I'm sure I am missing out on so much. You should gather up case studies from users, or just create them, demonstrating how repetitive actions can be programmed in. Without this guide, I'm afraid its potential will be wasted. (BTW, if you do this, you might create these workflows as a downloadable file... then you could share them. We could have a community of shared workflows that you can download and run! Many potential uses! (Here's how you check on 5 webcam urls and take a screenshot... here's how to record website visitor actions...here's how you create a table of weather data or stock prices or whatever.
Clean design and self explanatory functionalities. You can even export and import your workflows so you can share it with colleagues. So whether you are tester or your work is just repetetive, you can w̶a̶t̶c̶h̶ ̶c̶a̶t̶ ̶v̶i̶d̶e̶o̶s̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶t̶u̶b̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶s̶t̶e̶a̶d̶ do much more work in same amount of time. Also, thumbs up for the best support i have seen in long time
A clean interface that's easy to use right out of the box. I've been struggling with iMacros and Selenium, and found that Wildfire took me farther in a shorter amount of time than anything else I've tried. Furthermore, I needed help with a specific request with my workflow, emailed support and got help right away. Less than 12 hours later the feature was added -- Incredible support!
Just downloaded Wildfire today and I love it already! I have a repetitive scroll > click > next tab > repeat that I do daily for work and I was able to automate it in about 5 minutes. After noticing a minor bug where I couldn't edit the scrolling timeframe I emailed the developer and he got it fixed within 15 minutes!
I will like to thank you for the extraordinary customer service support you provided to me. The capability and the power of this Chrome extension are simply second to none. I love the fact that the user interface is very clean and easy to use. I truly appreciate your helping me with the Workflow Editor and come up with a macro capable of clicking on specific links on a web page that contain a document file with the searched phrase. Thanks a lot!!
Still has some development to go: * When deleting a step, is asks you if you want to do this for every single one; * After deleting a step, it scrolls back to the top (very annoying). * Repeating the steps appears to be in real-time - or slower than. Not very helpful. * Editing things was time consuming this way, so I tried to edit it downloaded - which didn't help, because the downloaded data file is Base64 encoded!
