Doesn't appear to work. I bring up the PerfectPixel window but none of the buttons work. Can't add layers. Can't open the menu. Can't paste in an image. Nothing at all works. The window is just "there". I can open it and close it by clicking the Chrome extension icon. That's it. This is on the latest Chrome in MacOS.

Could be cool but bug prevent you from scaling. You are simply stuck with an image half the size of you website.

Windows 10 Version 21H2 (Build 19044.1503). Vivaldi браузер 5.0.2497.48 (Stable channel) (64 бита). На открытых страницах из интернета открывается. Установил последний Chrome, та же самая проблема. Extremely useful; I use it all the time for comparing to exported Figma designs. I just wish the controls could go in a separate window; using it on mobile sizes covers up the entire page while the control panel is open.

Unable to make it to work. Always says that the extension cannot be used on this page. It also bloated with ads.

Hotkeys don't work on MacOS Chrome. Please, add an ability to change default hotkeys

I think this is a good tool for us to do with the initial design

I've tried to use it to check the styling of popups, but the whole thing freezes whenever there is a popup on the screen... Other than that, I think it's pretty useful.

Since the last version (march 2019) the panel cannot be snapped to the window corner anymore but scrolls out of view when scrolling the page. Why??

Good tools for website designer

Most helpful tool for pixel perfect design-matching web pages and Campaign Layouts.

This is the most useful extension for my work, our designers demand "pixel perfect" layout and this (and using Google Fonts) makes that possible. Unfortunately I have an issue the developer can't reproduce and therefore can't fix. He is not very communicative about helping me and doesn't seem interested. So every update I have to make a change to his content.js file. Otherwise, this extension is fantastic!

It's a great useful plugin for markup! I improve my markup skills because I can do my work with high accuracy. I compared markup and design by Screenshots and Photoshop before. But 4 years ago I had known about PerfectPixel plugin and its saved me a lot of time. By that plugin, I added a new design and see differences instantly! I definitely recommended using PerfectPixel the plugin to markup design.

How download Pixel ??

Very limited ability to resize your design image. You can't even use % or px to resize the overlay. You can only scale the overlay by one decimal. Pretty much useless.

Before I used this extension I used to screenshot parts of my html and compare them with the designs; this extension saves a lot of time by doing the inverse! I just wish you would include the image formats this extension supports.

This seems like a great plugin, but I cannot use if for development unless my page is on a server. I cannot find the "Allow local URLs" option.

I use this a TON. It's even helpful for responsive design if your designer gives you mobile and desktop layouts. If anything, it helps you get things like letter spacing, line heights, margins, and so on, exactly perfect. Use it. I would pay for it or at least donate. I feel bad disabling the ads.

Layers don't display at 100% when scaled to 1. Can't trust what is shown on screen is the right size. Uninstalling. Not recommended, unless you're looking for something to waste a bunch of your time making you code to the wrong size.

Rather than fixed position it should be bind itself to the website so it does not get effected with window re-sizing and zoom in and out. If that feature added in future, I would give 5 starts easy until than I'll give 4 stars.

Our Art department loves us now! We are producing so many less Art issues; and doing the site so much quicker. It really gives them confidence that their designs will be realized in a pixel perfect manner.

Easy to use. Does it's job and adds nothing unnecessary. Would be great if there was a feature that would let you see the differences between the site and the overlay. e.g. have an overlay that shows which pixels are difference.

Clever extension, but needs much finer grain adjustment of Scale factor 0.8,0.9,1 etc. is just no use for me..

Fantastic extension! Have been using this for months! Has become such an integrated part of my daily work that I can't imagine what I would do without it. Left ads turned on ;) Keep up the good work :D

Great extension. Especially for pixel trolling. I mainly use it for mobile and tablet web dev so it might be an edge case but it would be even better if the panel would shrink when the window is smaller than a certain threshold.

In chrome 'Emulation screen' has problem.

This is an amazing plugin! I wouldn't be able to be so precise in my styling without it. And while I understand why you've adding advertising, I'd prefer the option of buying a non-ad version. Is that possible?

Great extension! Please add ability to enter custom scale (not just 0.8 , 0.7 etc set by scale buttons), i.e. 0.84 , 0.561 and so on. Currently extension allow to enter custom scale value but then just ignore it.

I love this extension. It has become a powerful tool for my work. I have a suggestion to the author: it would be great if I could invert the colors of the layer, so I can compare the foreground/background easier. Otherwise I find myself having to change font/background colors (or invert the image manually) so I can differentiate between the two (even when one is opaque it is sometimes still hard to tell).

As a front end developer, I am constantly having to go back and forth between PS, Chrome, and DW to make sure the layout I am coding matches the design from the mockup. This process is extremely tedious and time consuming. With this extension for Chrome, I have cut my development time down drastically. What used to take 2-3 days, I can now do in 1-2 (depending on other projects). I love this thing, fantastic job with it.

I like everything about this extension except that the dialog box gets in the way, otherwise I would give this a 5 star. The dialog box isn't a big deal when working with non-mobile pages, but on mobile pages you either have to override the screen resolution, or make the window as narrow as the mobile device you are targeting. When doing this, the PerfectPixel control dialog gets in the way. Otherwise, great job! I would pay for this extension if you guys fix that one issue.

it works on online sites but i need to use it for offline working?

Excellent plugin. There is an annoying bug where any padding applied to the img element in your CSS is added to the overlay's dimensions, stretching the overlay.

Love it love it love it. It would be nice to have a better way to make large corrections to the location of the overlay, but that's a minor complaint. Makes my web design so much easier, till worth 5 stars.

Does what it says on the tin, but is missing some core features that would make it more useful, such as: Zooming. Zooming in and out in chrome does not change the overlay, making it much harder to get things "pixel perfect" Reloading Each time you reload the page you have to re-enable the tool, and wait for it to load again. LiveReload As above. Good start, and the best tool of it's kind, but only half of what it could be, so it only gets half the stars it could.

This is a godsend when developing fixed designs. Pretty simple to use. I did have the problem others reported where the button simply didn't work. However after uninstalling, cursing and then forgiving and reinstalling it now works! One feature request: it would be great to still be able to click on elements without show/hide somehow. e.g. being able to choose the z-order or DOM insert point of the image so it became a true background. This would make it easier to use Inspect Element. thanks.

Hey, its a very usefull plugin.. but please enable css rule "pointer-event: none" so we can debug without the screen layer interuppting.

Only seems to work on proper urls http:// dosent work with file:// and had problems with localhost. Im not sure why it matters, but it does, looking for a better plugin.

This is a great add-on. Missing z-index like in the Firefox version. Without it you can only select the overlay when you try to inspect any element.

It completely useless until it will work with local files.

Does not work on flash sites. The box wont come up when button is clicked.

Would be nice if it wouldn't change the website layout when you add a layer.
