Unfortunatelly Nuance was purchased by Microsoft. So you have to go the Microsoft Edge internte browser where it works perfectly

It is a shame that Nuance does not care about the products they have already sold. They only want you to "upgrade" to their new subscription service and pay the equivalent of one license every year instead of being able to use this produce for at least 3-4 years then upgrade like in the past. More money for nuance!. I was forced to upgrade my last version of dragon medical simply because it would not longer allow me to install. It seems that athough you would uninstall the product from an old computer the Nuance server would not credit you so you ended up using ability to move the product when you upgraded your computer. If it were not for the powermic function dragon would be a complete waste. Free voice recognition from google, microsoft and apple has better recognition than Nuance. I would pay for them to format it better for EMRs.

Crashes constantly as everyone else has mentioned.

I suspect that they have deliberately put bugs in and idiosyncrasies to force us into their new online version which of course will cost more money even though I paid a lot for the desktop version

Is there ZERO stars? it crashes and does not work. tried everything including calling Dragon. NO HELP!!!

Am surprised at all the negative reviews. Having learned all its idiosyncratic features, it works for me. I use it all day long for my radiology reports and type my letters with it.

I have the same issues everyone else does. Crashes at least once or twice a day. Slows me down dramatically. Terrible!

I have had a terrible experience with this app. Dragon is a great software, but this application is very unstable and tend to crash frequently. This is very annoying. I have not idea why it has not been fixed. Please do so ASAP. Thank you

Dragon works great. I am very happy with it for my medical practice.

Spend more time trying to get this to work correctly than it takes me to just type it out. A waste of time and money.

Dragon works well with Firefox or new Edge

I've had to reinstall and reboot this extension literally three times today in four hours. I paid 2 grand for dragon medical dictation and $40 for home. The only difference is that I can dictate into notepad and paste it into my web based emr with home but with medical it works. To test that this was the only real change, I got a chrome extension which changes all my tab names. When I changed the tab from "Practice Fusion" to "Disney World" it functioned completely normally like I had full dragon operational. I feel scammed, and I wont be upgrading to the latest version. Dragon used to be amazing, now it sucks.

Everything about this is horrible. They charge so much and can't make a decent product and they have had years to try and fix this with nothing getting better.

I am simply stunned that a product that is so ubiquitous is such a horrible program when used in Chrome. You have to start it and stop it over and over again. it will not remain consistent and active period it's very frustrating because when it works it's really good. he just doesn't work period I can't believe the developers of this product would allow this to continue. for now Unfortunately I would say that the Chrome extension is complete garbage. I don't know how it even passed any quality assurance or testing it's that bad.

the Chrome extension keeps disconnecting , it crashes every so often, then I am forced to use Google chrome with this Medical software now I cannot open the labs which are in adobe /PDF format scanned to the clinical records . it is very cumbersome and discouraging

Crashes all the time, and unreliable when it works

The amount of time I waste trying to get the extension to work is ridiculous!

Just like everyone else, I experience frequent crashes. About 3 hours total of technical support has made no difference. Have to uninstall and reinstall the extension, restart dragon and chrome about once per day. Would strongly advise against this product in general and certainly if you download the extension just prepare yourself for frequent troubleshooting.

This application is totally worthless. Not only that but a solid dictation system for physicians has become irrelevant because of proprietary changes to dictate into medical record systems only with the medical version rather than the cheaper stand alone version. I have bought upgrade for the last 12 yrs but no longer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the WORST piece of technology I have ever worked with. Also the MOST frustrating part of my day seeing patients and trying to do the progressnotes and end up troubleshooting my system to death. Shame on Google, shame on Nuance.

Extension does not work in the web browse mode it is horrible do something to fix update 3/19 so Pathetic that a zillion dollar company like this charging thousands of dollars is not ready to fix the plug in making us waste time restarting after crashes addendun : still nothing is done by this shameless corporation such a waste of time and money !!!!!!

Pretty poor piece of software. Agree with just about everybody else above, this should not be the case given the price we pay. Unacceptable.

Have tried extension several times, it does not work. Have wasted so much time as well as patch options trying to fix it, it just does not work.

I have broought this nonfunctional extension to tthe attention of nuance. Hopefully, they can make it work. Notice the double letters are from Dragon! Hopefully they can improve the product

Crashes

When it works, it works, but otherwise it'll sit there forever asking you to 'say that again' before duplicating your speech a hundred times over. This is Medical Practice Edition 4 on Windows.

Works extremely well with Dragon Medical 4 and Chrome

I am hand typing this because it constantly crashes. I've spent more time trying to get this to work than actually seeing my patients. And when my blue tooth will crash, I'll plug in the wired head set, and then that will crash 30 min later. They MUST get this fixed.

This program is awful. Crashes all the time. Let me get this straight. Physicians pay 1500+, Legal pays 300, business and personoal pays even less and we get the software that does not work with EMRs because of a proprietary link to EMRs to so we have to pay so much more just for a medical vocabulary. Im done upgrading for dragon.

It crashes all the time. And does not get any warning. After dictating paragraphs I realiz that nothing is there... because of crash very very frustrating.

it crashes every 10 seconds, hate it, would recommend something else for dictation, do not understand why we paid that much money for dragon medical for it not to work, tried to call Customer support, GOOD LUCK.

I am not sure why physicians are paying thousands of dollars for dictation software that is working less and less with each new roll out with EMRs. Ironic how much better until Nuance changed architecture to recognize EMRs vs other software. Now it sucks and is filled with bugs.

Shuts off atleast once a day using dragon medical

The recent update on the 9/7/18 causes Dragon Native Messaging host for chrome to crash. Please roll back the previous version before releasing a version that crashes 4-5 times a day. Unusable at the moment, not happy.

Won't launch on my Chromebook.
