Simple and does its job well. If a webpage requires form resubmission on each refresh then edit your Chrome shortcut to include "-disable-prompt-on-repost" at the end.

Perfect, does exactly what it says on the tin. Like a lot of others writing reviews, I have various app metrics on different dashboards that I want to monitor on a TV being run by a Raspberry Pi. And unlike others I tried, it lets you make settings for individual tabs, so for example if you need to force reload some tabs but not others, you can.

After trying to write my own for several hours based on iframes and getting caught up with "X-Frame-Options: " - This worked like an absolute charm. Thank you!

Works fine, the only drawback is the reload after the tab switch - isn't fluent, disturbs the users. The change Julien implemented won't help much, as it reloads the tab when you leave it which means the data will become ubsolete until you get back to the tab. I like the way TabCarousel reloads - reloads the next tab when switching to the new one. Unfortunately it doesn't allow to have different times before change for each tab... In case anybody knows of plugin which will handle both requirements please let me know.

How it is possible that i need only two tabs required to this occurence.

The only issue I have is while the chrome browser is running on my right monitor and I am working on the other monitor, the setting "Rotate only when inactive" seems to activate even though I'm not interacting with the browser on the right. So I tried opening the browser in incognito to keep it a completely separate process, and work on the other browser on the other monitor but same thing. it stops rotating because it thinks it is being activated. The only way this setting works well if you don't faf with the desktop at all. OS: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

This is perfect. Love the little icon to just enable and disable. Does exactly what you want/need it to for presentations or keeping a screen busy.

Yep, that's the one! It's reliable and has a very convenient configuration page. When using multiple windows, cycling can be activated on a per-window basis, allowing one to work in one browser window while monitoring auto-cycling tabs in another window.

Simple solution for rotating server reports on a public display

Really good tool.. can revolve through the web pages without an issue. Saved me from writing 2 - 3 hours of HTML scripting.

It seems the autostart causes some issues. The active icon no longer correctly represents 'active' and the rotation can't be stopped easily thereafter. Can this be fixed?

Great tool, I have a suggestion for an option to be added for this tool. I want to be able to limit the tool to automatically return to a specific tab in of my choice on Google Chrome after a certain number of seconds. For example if I am at gmail tab, the tool should automatically return to google drive. tab after a certain number of seconds. It is important for us who need to make a follow-up on ongoing task at a specific web page without being distracted by others.

I'm disabled with permanent nerve damage in both my hands and this addon has changed my life. THANK YOU.

Best extension I've tested to showcase multiple dashboards on a big screen. I saw in the comments that I am not the only one annoyed by the fact that the reload occurs when a tab gets focus, so I proposed a pull request to support reload on the background. Great tool! A little thing was missing to fit perfectly to my purpose though: display the remaining time before the switch. I added this feature in a fork on Github (https://github.com/clems4ever/revolver-chrome-extensions) and sent the pull request to Ben Hedrington for him to review it and merge.

Fantastic extension. Works great for having multiple dashboards in tabs and reload them not only periodically but custom wait times for each tab. The tab also is displayed and not simply reloaded.

Perfectly suits for what I was looking for. Perfect for setting up monitoring. As a suggestion would you add a feature to scroll the page, as done by the add-on "Simple Auto Scroll"

This is a great extension for automatically changing tabs based on time interval. The only improvement I'd suggest is making the 'activity' time-out configurable. If I use the browser it's frustrating if the extension continues 'revolving' too quickly.

I use it for displaying visual dashboards and monitoring on a TV at work. Compare to others, it is good. Sometimes, some pages doesn't load (may be a problem with the page itself)

We use this at work for our dashboards, works great! Only thing I would want to ask the dev is if it could reload the tab in the background before switching over to it. Now every time it switches it stutters as it reloads the page. Good work!

This is the best thing for staying online on things like facebook, it's the best if you have timed sessions or session that you have a time limit on. I use this for Rabb.it, the best site in the world.

So far - so great! The only thing I wish I could do, is set a custom time interval for reloading tabs. The problem I'm running into, some of the tabs go stagnant and require a reload periodically to update. However, reloading it every time the tab changes causes an irritating flicker due to the page loading. If I could set the tab to reload every 30 minutes, people passing by would have less of a chance of seeing the page loading and flickering - and then seeing the content we're trying to flip through.

Doesn't let me revolve longer than 10 seconds... I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it... its locked at a 10 second revolve time.

Really like it - super handy for team dashboards and fast feedback. Could you PLEASE add the ability to allow different instances of Chrome to not all enable or disable. I like to have a dashboard chrome instance window running on one monitor - so rotating around many dashboards/tabs, and have other Chrome instances running for normal browsing sessions - so don't want Revolver active on these ones. Thanks!

Used it in a high profile event and it worked a treat.

Works with multiple chrome windows open which is very useful with multiple displays. Transition between tabs could be more slideshow like, fade in/ out for example.

Works as advertised. Worked great without a restart after installation on Chrome OS X, but required a restart using Chromium on Raspbian before it would start rotating tabs. While it wasn't working, it wasn't clear what the difference was between the green box, blue box, and red X and whether that was the current state or the state you would achieve by pressing the button. Changing the tooltip to reflect the current state would be helpful.

It crashes Chrome after 1 hour of use.

Concur with other reviews. Slideshow should pause with mouse && keyboard activity. Like the shortcut key feature. Wondering how hard it would be to count open tabs and have a shortcut-key action flag that tab for refresh. When the tab is closed of course the flag is cleared Very good app, like this one better than Tab Slideshow Plus!

Would easily vote 4 stars if this didn't request focus every time a tab was switched. The change of focus makes this completely unusable.

Would be nice if the focus could be kept for whatever other chrome window is open (catch it and pass it back), as one cannot work with another window when the focus changes to the window that is being revolved. Other than that, I like the extension

Unfortunately, I can't use this plugin. I would love to, but the problems are currently insurmountable. Problem 1: I have multiple browser windows and I want the plugin to only rotate tabs in one of the windows. Is there any way I can enable / disable on a per-window basis? Problem 2: The tab that is rotated to is always granted input focus. This means that if I'm typing in a second browser _window_, the tabs in the other window rotate and suddenly I'm not typing in my original window again. If these two issues get fixed, I'll try it again.

Works Great for Monitoring Website

I could not get this to work properly. The configuration to change the rotation frequency was never honored by the program. My need was to rotate the tab every 25 seconds to allow review of the webpage, however the revolver would rotate the tab usually at 10 seconds but sometimes at 1 second or immediately after rendering.
