Excellent. Makes Reddit Usable again...
Not a big fan of the direction Reddit is going in, used to be you could freely browse the website without being bugged to register, or suddenly having a pop-up blocking what you were reading, or hiding information because it was deemed "dangerous". This add-on is nice because it simply adds the "old." to the Reddit URL, allowing you to use Reddit like it was intended instead of the greedy, ridiculous website it has become.
Works.
Does exactly what it's supposed to and nothing more. Only realized I need to rate it when I tried viewing www.reddit.com instead of old.reddit.com and got redirected. The new site has been evicted from my mind for not paying rent, and this extension is my landlord's lawyer. 5/5, perfection.
It was great. But new reddit just works better on ultrawide because the zooming in isn't wonky. Been using it for years tho
Reddit, y u do dis? Old.reddit is so much better. This plug-in works flawlessly.
Thank you just what I needed
Works perfectly for me. I am using and loving it in 2022.
Works very well. I clear all my browser data on exit so this makes reddit tolerable to use logged out. Thank you.
Amazing extension, new reddit sucks so bad and old reddit will always be superior.
It makes reddit usable again.
we should have an option for certain domains (i.reddit.com for example. its old mobile reddit, however it redirects to old desktop reddit)
Does what is says but there is no need for it as you simply have a "use old reddit button" in reddit settings
as a wise man once said, it just works
New reddit sucks. Old reddit sucks too, but at least that's just because of the content. Recently, new reddit has been seeping in with things like the report modal and the cookies popup. Old Reddit Redirect appears to have updated itself specifically to remove the cookie popup, meaning it goes from a 5/5 rating to a 10/5 rating hell yeah.
does what it says
It now asks for extra permissions to read and change data on reddit which is too sketchy for me and will not be using this anymore. Good way on ruining your own addon
Used to be great but now suddenly requires additional permissions to read and change my data on old.reddit.com. Seems sketchy and I will not be using this extension any longer.
Amazing!
just installed it. works perfectly.
I can't figure out how to briefly pause the extension without completely removing it, sometimes I need to access new reddit to upload pictures properly. That's my only complaint.
It does what it is supposed to. Nothing more. Nothing less. I love it.
Does not seem to work anymore. Can this issue be looked into?
no is bad no redifirect is not wpork bad is no reppirect
Works just fine.
You have to be mentally ill to prefer the redesign over this. Great quality of life addon, get it and never look back (or forward in this case lol)
its fixed sir
Worked great. My essential extension for reddit browsing.
It's honestly one of my favorite extensions. That's how much I despise the new reddit design. Brilliant
A literal godsend, I have been using this extension for two years and has yet to fail me. To this day I fail to understand why reddit doesn't allow for this option natively. Cheers
Does what it says, better redirect mechanism than I've seen for other similar extensions. No more New Reddit; can't argue with that.
works
The only reason I still use reddit, thanks for this!
Works.
works
Great extension, but to echo the previous poster it no longer works with v.reddit.com. You can expand a the image of the thumbnail for the video and then play it but if you don't perfectly click on the controls then it just reloads the thread.
No longer works with v.reddit.com...any link to a video hosted on reddit itself just reloads the post without playing the video. Can this be fixed? Or maybe add an option to set exceptions for specific reddit subdomains.
I love this so much. Thank you.
Extension is amazing, I accidentally removed it and I hated life for an hour before I installed it again.
There is an issue with new reddit image hosting service. Reddit added the ability to host images directly on reddit rather than the usual imgur. This extension converts the www.reddit.com/gallery links to old.reddit.com/gallery links, which don't work at all.
I've never had an issue with the extension, but was wondering if a toggle was possible, between www.reddit and old.reddit? Annoyingly they both lack features the other has. Thanks Dev.
Good good good!!!
absolutely gorguoues
Great extension! Really useful for people like me who find the new design confusing
thx. new reddit is trash.
This is great and I love it but you should have an option to disable it without fully removing it from chrome
Works great without any issues. Im staying with old as long as reddit lets me!
Works as advertised. Simple.
makes reddit usable again!
Works.
5 stars because it used to work as advertised, 1 star because it no longer works at all. New reddit just loads regardless. So 3 stars on average.
Can you add a dark mode please?
Thank you for making this! :]
Just what I was looking for! Saved me from having to write it myself, thanks :)
Seamless
Oh thank god this extension exists. The redesign is hideous and and way less user friendly.
Options are greyed out, doesn't work half the time.
Thank god for people like you.
Used to work, now it sometimes breaks.
Works great when typing in the address bar. Does not work when clicking links off google.
stopped working today
Used to be great, but recently stopped redirecting! Would love a hotfix! Edit: It seems that the extension has been fixed! Love Restored!
Better than the new reddit
No longer works. All google links I click redirect to new Reddit
Currently works to a lesser degree, I have to refresh the page after opening reddit in order for it to redirect.
Used to work amazing - now doesn't work at all anymore...
I was having issues with it not working.. I uninstalled and reinstalled. It worked for a little and sometimes I had to refresh the tab for it to work again. So I installed Chrome Canary and now it works perfectly.
Worked great but stopped working about a day or two ago
It was working for a while but lately it has stopped working
Great, but not working anymore?
New reddit still sucks. Thanks for this.
It's JUST what I wanted! Thank you SOOOOO MUCH! I admire reddits new design–BU, its still very buggy and I'm unable to do hardly ANYTHING on it! This was wonderful! Thank you for providing this! I don't know why their new design won't let half of anything load properly.
Awesome. I hate reddit's new design and this saves me from having to manually edit the url each time. Thanks! (Also, for anyone who uses the old reddit due to the fact that you're having issues with LastPass not working on the new reddit UI; I can confirm that this does indeed fix it).
Light and does what it's supposed to, thanks! New reddit sucks :(
Very good, very light, awesome! Works very well!
So far so good. Haven't experienced any issues with this extension. I wish I could say the same about the redesign but lets be honest, the new redesign sucks. Anyways, this is a must have for anyone who prefers the old design over the new.
10/10 the redesign gave me cancer, this extension cured it
Great. Just what I needed :)
Thank you
Whether it works or not is a different thing. I would give 5* even for such an attempt. ps: it works great.
Thank god, the new layout is garbage.
Thanks for saving me from new reddit.
thank you! I was going mad dealing with new reddit on those random occasions where Im not logged in.
It gets rid of the new UI. What's not to love?
This is exactly what I wanted. Thank you!
Works as advertised
Great. Only 1 minor issue (well more of an inconvenience) is that it collides with "HTTPS Everywhere" and i get this error: This extension failed to redirect a network request to https://old.reddit.com/r/greece because another extension (HTTPS Everywhere) redirected it to https://www.reddit.com/r/greece
SO PURFECT
This extensions works very well except for tiny problem it contains advertisements pop-up. If you see ads on the right side with Google Chrome * AD PLACEMENT that's the one.
Great app, I hate the new reddit, and this add on ensures I will never see it!
Thanks for making this. I absolutely hate the new Reddit. It takes up way to much space and you see less on the page. I was looking for a way to always show the old Reddit, and this fits the bill perfectly.
Hate how I can't - hide posts on new reddit. Change is for real life, not the internet.
Goddamn redesign ruined everything, thank you for this. Thank you.
Works really well - apart from when you view a user who is using the new profile, if you try and sort the comments by anything other than the default "new", it says "hmm... u/ hasn't commented on anything". Also doesn't work with Ceddit or RemoveReddit
Does exactly what it says it does
This extension is brilliant and much needed. Thank you very much for making this extension available!
still having problems using it in chrome where https://reddit.com does not redirect to old reddit. can you fix it?
works as intended , no ads, perfect as it is dont mess this extension up dude please dont sell out and put ads or whatever
Awesome!
The new design kept making me crash. Thanks much.
Works.
PERFECT
